Worst service ever!!!
1/5 Stars – Avoid at all costs! Dishonest, lazy, and incompetent.
If I could give zero stars, I would. As a former mechanic, I know standard garage practice inside and out, and this place is an absolute disgrace to the trade.
Here is the breakdown of their utter failure:
* Two Weeks for a 10-Inch brake Pipe: My car failed its MOT on a rusty brake line. We agreed on an hour of labor and a retest. After two full weeks of me chasing them, nothing had been touched.
* Fabricated Issues & Broken Promises: To cover for their total lack of progress, they tried to claim I needed two additional brake lines done. When I finally got the car back, I inspected it—they had only replaced a single 10-inch section.
* Amateur Workmanship: On the drive home, there was a terrible rattling and scraping from under the car. I put it up on the lift at home to find they had physically bent the exhaust heat shield and left it resting directly against the exhaust box. Complete laziness and zero quality control.
* Ripped Off on Retest: To top off two weeks of horrible communication and shoddy work, they double-charged me for the MOT.
They thought they could pull a fast one, fabricate extra work, and hand back a sloppy job. Little did they know I actually know how to turn a wrench and check underneath my own vehicle.
You got a few extra quid out of me today, but you’ve lost my business forever, along with anyone who ever asks me for a garage recommendation. Do not bring your car here unless you want your time wasted, your wallet drained, and your car returned with new defects.

On Monday 13 July I tried to make contact with Westbury Protyre by phone, on both occasions I waited 30mins and again later 20min, and nobody answered.
The next day I sent an email and from then on the service and attention I received was second to none. That same day a technician came, the low loader took my car away for a full diagnosis. My car was returned to me the next day at lunchtime. All the staff involved were helpful and kept me informed of progress. All this was at no cost to myself, an excellent service.

A very positive experience!…
The person who fitted the motorcycle tyre to the loose wheel from my Ducati, was communicative, careful with an expensive item and took time to prepare and complete the fitting. As he appreciated, motorcycle owners are particularly exacting customers and I was impressed by his attitude. A very good advert for Protyre and a location I will definitely return to and highly recommend to others.

Two tyres changed on my car
Two tyres changed on my car. Manager moaning about being busy as a result of the Trowbridge branch being relocated, but only two other people waiting and much chatting going on in the office. On my way home I was phoned by the manager to say that he had given me someone else's wheel-lock nut, so I had to return. Still moaning about being busy. I went back a few days later to have the torque settings checked - still moaning. Kept waiting again despite only one vehicle being worked on and three mechanics. Eventually the job was done with the mechanic asking me what was wrong with the tyres. Former customers of the Trowbridge branch should be aware that the old branch has been taken over by Seetyres together with, it seems, their extremely efficient staff. In short, avoid at all costs.

Booked online for 2 motorcycle tyres to…
Booked online for 2 motorcycle tyres to be fitted to loose wheels for a appointment at 4pm on the 29th June, Arrived on time to be told the fitter of motorcycle tyres wasn't working that day no apology just told to leave wheels and he would do them when he was back in. Got a phone call 2 days later to be told he'd broken the tyre pressure sensor and would have to order a replacement. I had to call a week later to be told they were ready. It's a shame that Protyre Salisbury don't do motorcycle tyres as the service you receive from them is excellent.

Feel let down.
Despite me clearly saying which tyre to change and even offering a word of warning about the steel cords protruding in a bid to help the fitter avoid injury the wrong tyre was removed. I was told however that this tyre had a bulge and should also be replaced. I found this strange as I was made aware of the original issue at the vehicles MOT. They did not mention any other issues. This is a garage I have used for many years for repairs, servicing and MOTs. I asked for the removed tyre to take back to them and was told now the tyre is off the bulge would not be visible. They agreed but like me were surprised they had missed it in the 1st place. Your employee did charge me the same price for the 2nd tyre as I paid for the 1 ordered on the Internet but I was surprised on closer inspection later that this included a charge for environmental disposal. As I said I asked for the offending tyre so I could show it to my garage so I would be disposing of it.
This was my 1st visit having been redirected from Bathwick Tyres, Trowbridge another business I have returned to regularly.
