My experience with Pukka was absolutely terrible. I was given misleading information and felt pressured into taking out a policy.

I was told that there was an unresolved claim in my name and that, as a result, my valid No Claims Discount of more than 10 years could not be applied. However, my previous insurer confirmed that no such claim existed and that my full No Claims Discount was valid. This directly contradicted what Pukka had told me and made me seriously question whether inaccurate information was being used to justify charging me a much higher premium.

Pukka is also extremely expensive. In my experience, misleading information appeared to be used to justify its prices rather than providing a clear and honest explanation of the premium.

During a cancellation call, I asked several difficult questions. Suddenly, the call became unclear, even though the connection had been perfectly fine before and afterwards. This was highly suspicious and made the situation even more frustrating.

If you deal with Pukka, record every conversation where legally permitted and keep copies of all documents, emails, and messages. Check everything they tell you directly with your previous insurer or another reliable source.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise staying away from this company.

They knowingly submitted a completely fabricated claim from one of their clients against me onto the national database. I have been trying for months to get them to close the claim from November 2023 and like so many other reviews on here I keep getting passed to the wrong department or there appears to have nobody available to remove the claim from the national database.
obviously a very dubious company with a sketchy (at best) form book on clients and 3rd parties. As their lack of professional conduct is costing me additional premium rates from the historic data being still active - I have little option to raise a legal claim against them for damages.

Never go for this company. This is the best WORST company i have seen in my 60 years of life!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pukka Pies are little more than dog food

I don’t even believe this is a legitimate insurance company.
I believe they are based in Gibraltar and therefore have limited rules that other uk companies would be required to follow.
I have complained to autonet who brokered the insurance as I believe they are partnering with unchecked insurance companies with proven failures to provide the service being paid for.
My vehicle was struck in a car park while I was in attendance with 2 employees who caused and witnessed the accident and had body cams and cctv as this was their place of business.
Reported the accident soon as possible and answered all relevant questions and when I asked what would happen next as my vehicle was not safe to drive as the doors won’t lock and all my power tools are onboard.
I was told by pukka that they will send it to their team to review, I asked when they would respond and the answer was they didn’t know.
I asked what should I do as my tools aren’t safe and pukka are my insurer and the answer ‘I don’t know’.
I asked that if they are not going to action my claim today then would they take responsibility for my tools as they know my vehicle won’t lock and has been reported to them, again they didn’t know.
I mentioned that I need my van for work and paid to have vehicle rental as an extra option, they didn’t know if or when I may receive one.
I asked one last time when could I reasonably expect a response to this or this matter to be actioned, I jokingly asked ‘ a week? A month? A year? only to be told seriously that he didn’t know.
I asked to speak to a manager as i literally had been given no information on how, when or if my claim was even genuinely being processed, waited over 25 minutes only to be told that no manager was available.
I bet this tactic is employed by pukka regularly.
I fully intend to report this company to any ombudsman or authority that have powers to investigate and prosecute them as the service paid for is not being provided.

Where do I start?
Like others, they are not even worth 1 star.
I was involved in an incident where my vehicle was a total loss due to a drunk driver hitting my vehicle.
I went to hospital and wasn’t able to obtain any details from other driver.
3 weeks later I managed to obtain the policy number and who he was insured by called Admiral and they knew nothing about the incident, freedom brokers/pukka services hadn’t even made contact.
We are now over three months down the line and still no payout for my van/business and personal belongings not a penny has been paid out.
Absolutely shocking avoid at all cost!!!!!

Terrible!!! I honestly thought I was insure with freedom brokers, when I needed a new windscreen and phoned up to see I was with Pukka and then see the reviews my heart sunk I left my phone on the side calling them for 1hr 40 minutes and still didn’t get through please avoid the reviews are telling

I don’t even want to give one star because there is no other option here.
Terrible service, irresponsible behavior, basically they don’t care.
They keep transferring call to others, and they kept hold me long hours to answer. I can write more, This is not the first time I have called, called them many time since last month, same reply from different people. Overall they are a pathetic bunch of people.

They have fobbed me off for 7 weeks and counting , im waiting for a payment as my veichle has been written off. I asked to speak to a manager 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting!!
I need my van for work and have lost 7 weeks wages but they don't seem to be bothered.

STOLE MY CAR AVOID AT ALL COST. was insured by them they never set first proposal to me got. my renewal and details were incorrect told them about this while i was making a claim.they arranged for car to be uplifted took it away gave me payout amount and then told me policy was void and never returned car and then stop responding to me.they still have car in storage and will not return

Had a false claim against me, it is now closed with no payments being made. Everytime commutation was via email, now I need an email sent to my insurers to say its closed. They send a letter which takes weeks to get processed, why not an email like all the other times!!! Makes me think they are all working together to get the most money out of you. Nearly 3 years , I am still paying premiums for a non fault claim thst happened in 2022. I would not use these as you will be too blame even though I was the victim

I worked for one of their claims management firms.
I heard a lot of shady stuff in the background. For example, there was one such conversation in which several handler in one of the group chats were discussing how no payments could be made till there was enough money in the pot. Why was there a deficit in funds? Then on the side I was working, you have to blag customers telling them that their payments are being processed. It's the least ethical place I think I have ever worked. I don't know if Pukka are aware of this, or if they do they don't care. You don't think that such firms could be bound by the financial regulators but here we are. Pukka if you aware of this it makes you as bad really doesn't it

Do not use these scammers. Worst service ever and did not listen to a word I said. Should be shut down. Considering making a complaint to the FCA.

Avoid Pukka Insurance at all costs! They blatantly lied about the coverage I was supposed to have and when I needed the insurance, they failed to provide it. Their customer service was unhelpful and left me stranded when I relied on them most. Completely unreliable and disappointing—don’t make the same mistake I did!

Do not use. Worst experience with any insurer I have had to make a claim with. They attempted to stone wall through the claims process. Simply, I would not trust them to honour their cover leaving you holding the liability.

Appalling, disgusting. I do not have enough negative words to describe this company!
I am only awarding one star as there is no zero star option!!
Avoid like the plague

I want to warn people that I consider this company to be a bunch of scammers. I got a cheap quote from them for van insurance that I paid for up-front on their website and received an email asking me to phone up to verify personnel details, at what felt like nearing the end of the phone call, they informed me that my wife had a no-fault accident and that had she never claimed her insurance company for any damage to the car or for personnel injury three years ago But they were still going to use this Non-incident as justification to raise the price of the insurance. the individual I spoke with on the phone also tried claiming that if I cancelled would negatively affect any other quotes I would get from any other insurers. This felt like blackmail to me, either pay the extra or else. I accused him of being a scammer and demanded to know how much extra they wanted, but he refused to tell me and cancelled the insurance so I suspect it was going to be a sizeable increase. These Scumbags are to be avoided.

Love the night time berry tea - which is really having a positive impact on the quality of my sleep. It’s also relatively cheap compared to other brands. I buy a box of 20 bags at Tesco for £4.75. I usually add 3 or 4 hibiscus flowers in it to improve the flavour.

Tea is not too bad but the tea bags themselves are very soft when wet so break. I’ve had to strain nearly every cup of tea I make into another cup. Won’t be buying again. And they aren’t cheap!
