I have purchased a new motorcycle and I am trying to change the registration number with SEGO. However, when I attempt to make the change, the system tells me that I must contact SEGO. When I do so, SEGO refuses to change the registration and tells me that I need to take out a new policy.

This would mean that they keep the deposit I have already paid, and also require me to get a new quotation and pay another deposit. According to my contract, if I legally change my vehicle, I am entitled to modify my policy without losing my deposit or my no claims bonus.

This situation has already happened to several of my colleagues. Some of them even considered taking legal action, as SEGO claimed the registration could not be changed when, according to the contract, they are obliged to allow it. In those cases, SEGO eventually cancelled the policy and refunded the deposit.

I consider this practice unfair and it may be interpreted as an attempt to retain the deposit and make the customer lose their no claims bonus. I am currently experiencing the same issue, and I am raising this to make others aware of the situation.

I request that this matter be resolved and that the terms of the contract be respected.

I buy my insurance online last night , finding out my email address was wrong , was one g missing on my email address, now I can’t login in to my account, try to phone the number 02033089800 ,not body answer the phone only ask to go to online or live chat, but first going to live chat you need to give register email and same thing if we email to them they need to use email we registered , now I don’t have other way to change my email address.
