As a landlord, this was an absolutely hideous management company! They were fine when they were Home River Group, but then they got bought out by PURE and literally dropped the ball on a house that was vacant for six months. They admitted fault but took no responsibility for it and made no effort to remedy it. They literally could care less and didn’t even respond to complaints. I have a Texas wide portfolio and removed all my properties from them. RUN!

IF YOU READ ONE REVIEW, LET IT BE THIS ONE!!!! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!! Not only do they consistently break Arizona Tenant Law, they do not care either. We have been good tenants, never been late on rent one time, taken great care of the property we live in, and acted in good faith through all the CRAP these people have put us through.... (no AC for over a month in August while I was 6 month pregnant, a door that was unable to lock for over 3 months, a broken irrigation system for OVER A YEAR and so much more!!) They have been disrespectful, neglectful, and refuse to act in good faith even though we have documented proof they have continuously broken the law. I hope no one else has to deal with this horrific company.

She is rude, very disrespectful claimed that a person who handles maintenance does not work for them… I have text messages that provides proof she literally sent me the rudest email and that person Sam provides maintenance services for them!!!

Garage doors broke took 3 weeks to fix. I had expensive items in garage. The rain ruined my stuff. I honestly have too much to write. I have only been in property for 90 days, I wish to god I never ever had rented.

Do not second guess this review if you are looking at a property. Please reach out I will provide you all the proof you need !!!! They are horrendous

My experience with DFW Pure Property Management has been disappointing. Communication has been inconsistent, and I've often had to follow up multiple times just to get updates on maintenance requests or other concerns. On more than one occasion, I found myself contacting vendors directly as the tenant to help move repairs along because it didn't seem to be a priority for the property management company. Tenants shouldn't have to coordinate work that the property manager should manage. THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO YOUR EMAILS! TENANT BEWARE!

Timely communication, follow-through, and taking ownership of maintenance issues are fundamental responsibilities of a property management company. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. DFW Pure Property Management needs to be more responsive and deliver better customer service to retain tenants. Word travels fast, and social media gives people a platform to share their experiences!

Beware! Complete Lack of Care and Integrity
I had my property listed for many years with Pure Property Management of Tennessee (formerly Property Management Connection, now Pure HomeRiver Group). Over that time, they completely failed to properly maintain my home, allowing tenants to cause severe damage without holding them financially responsible. It ultimately cost me thousands of dollars out of pocket to repair.

Furthermore, management lied to me regarding tenant renewals and repeatedly authorized unnecessary, costly maintenance work through their own contracted repair vendors. Some of the repairs exceeded their authority limit in my management agreement. When I raised concerns, a company representative actually told me that I "cared too much" about my own property. As an owner, of course I care—I want to attract great tenants and keep them happy so they stay long-term.

This company does not care about owners or tenants; they only care about collecting fees while doing as little actual work as possible. They nickel-and-dime tenants with fees that are never passed along to the owner, misrepresenting both sides. Whether you are a property owner or a tenant looking to rent, I cannot stress enough how important it is to avoid this company.

Most unprofessional people I've ever had to deal with regularly. Jasmine was very nice. Fernando was very nice. The rest of my interactions with them have been awful. THEY DON'T CARE

In my experience, Pure Property Management of North Carolina has demonstrated the least effective property management company I have encountered. The communication between the management company and myself was inadequate, and they failed to rectify an issue that resulted in the unpaid rent for my last month’s property, which was paid by the tenant and reflected on my invoice. Despite this, the company continues to refuse to release the funds. Having utilized other management companies for 20 years while owning the property, Pure Property Management of North Carolina has consistently demonstrated inadequate management practices and has been the most ineffective company I have encountered.

While the gentleman who inspected the property did a thorough and professional job, nobody else has ever contacted me to accomplish any of the work he documented and which needs to be done. Pure offers poor service and almost a complete lack of concern for the properties. I was left on 4th of July weekend two years ago for four days with no a/c in 100 degree plus weather. Temp was 92 degrees in my bedroom. Similar lack of concern or service when the bladder on the water heater burst and they would not send anyone to fix it for 30 hours. I had already called my friend John Blitch of Blitch Plumbing who had someone out in 10 minutes. When I spoke to the lady at Goose Creek Heating and Air and told her Pure Property told me they didn't have any servicemen available, she said she had at least a dozen repairmen on call that weekend. Terrible horrible service and if my neighbor across the street didn't know the homeowner, none of these awful problems would ever have been addressed. I got stuck with the plumbing bill for fixing the ancient water heater and soldering the new bladder on--$400. Ken whatever his name is that owns the home has already gotten an earful from my neighbor Steve who can see that the property management company is not keeping the property up (trees need trimming, gutters have trees growing from them, the house needs mold pressure washed off the siding, and palm trees are growing in the flower beds by the dozens. By the time you send someone to attend to them, they will need a backhoe to dig them out. Marshall the inspector was a real nice gentleman. Pure Property management is awful, terrible and should be ashamed of their lack of attention to the property and the complete disregard to the homeowners. I will be posting this on the Pure Property Website or comments page on Google Reviews, so that potential renters or homeowners can beware of neglect before they are neglected. I cannot think of a more irresponsible company. The front door lock has not worked for years. Marshall noted that as have dozens of others and you have done nothing to rectify the problem! Don't send me a survey unless you want to hear the truth about your complete disregard for me as a longtime renter.

Unprofessional and Dishonest property management. I strongly advise against doing business with Pure Property Management. Under manager Lisa Martin, they harassed tenants, mismanaged the property, and pocketed security deposits. My experience was extremely stressful, and they ignored tenant rights and broke laws. Avoid renting from them!!!

We are property owners who retained Pure Property Management to manage our home almost two years ago. They are absolutely effing useless, if you have any other option then take it! At *best* 1 out of 10 emails will receive a reply and voicemails even less than that. They perform unapproved non-emergency maintenance exceeding $500 in violation of contractual terms. Just absolute garbage people and company. Execrable.

I would not recommend Pure Property Management to any property owner. Their lack of communication, poor accountability, and failure to advocate for the owner made my experience frustrating and costly.

1️⃣ Terrible Communication – Getting updates was a constant struggle. Emails and calls were often ignored, and I had to chase them down for even the most basic information.

2️⃣ Failure to Enforce Lease Terms – Instead of protecting my property, they sided with tenants who clearly violated the lease and downplayed the damage caused.

3️⃣ Delays & Lack of Action – Despite holding tenant funds for repairs, they dragged their feet and refused to move forward in a timely manner, making the process unnecessarily difficult.

4️⃣ Unethical Practices – They seem more interested in collecting fees than actually managing properties responsibly. When concerns were raised, they avoided responsibility instead of providing solutions.

🚨 Stay away, especially from Becky Star. If you're looking for a property management company that communicates, protects your investment, and follows through on their responsibilities—look elsewhere. Pure Property Management is not it.

These property management companies are the worst. As bad as the housing crisis is these people are straight out of a future dystopian movie. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This company is all about making money. After a 12 month rental on my Nashville, TN townhouse, they charged me a fortune to "Spot Clean" and "Spot Paint". After I saw halfway cleaned / painted townhouse, I requested for them to come back to clean, they charged me again and threatened me to a collection agency. The agent totally agreed that it was a halfway cleaning job! Never again will I use this company. Shame on anyone who hires them without checking out their "5 Star" rating!!! They are not even associated with the BBB. Now I see why!!
