I ordered vitamins from Puritan's Pride for several years and I thought it is respectable and reliable company, but...
I live in Russia and I have to pay for international shipment. That's why I always try to order for about $100. It is clear, if I buy 1 product with $10 price and pay $17 for the shipment in fact I get that product for $27, but if I buy 10 pcs for $100 and pay $25 for the shipment one piece is $12.5.
They sent last package without some ordered product. Nobody told me before the package was sent that some position is out of stock. If they did - I would change order and keep average cost of vitamins including shipment in a resonable limits. But they didn't warn me and informed me when I could change nothing. They refunded money for the absent position but as a result I've bought vitamins 50% more expensive (with a glance of shipping cost) than I ordered! Nice difference!
Moreover, shipment cost with such a cut order had to be cheaper but they didn't cut it for the less weight.
I wrote to Customer Help explaining situation. I hoped they compensate my loss by some way but the answer was "We are sorry, bla-bla-bla, please order again."
Who would buy again after that? I don't want to get vitamins 50% more expensive than I paid for.
Shame on you, Puritan's Pride!
P.S. After this review I got reply from the company. They refunded $5 for wrong shipment cost and sent $5 as apology. Nobody in Puritan's Pride tried to calculate how much I really lost. I wrote to them again with detail calculation but they don't need to keep loyal customers: still no answer.

I have been a customer for years without any major problems this time they shorted me 6 bottles of CO q10, when I called they told me that that was excluded in the sale. I told the guy on the phone that I had the flyer that came in the mail showing CO q10 and they refused to make it right. As far as I'm concerned that was false advertising and I will never do business with them again. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT GOOD CUSTOMERS.

I ordered vitamins online. They charged my card but I never got an order confirmation. I called and they said the order did go through and gave me an order number. A couple of days later I noticed that the charge was gone from my card. I emailed the company. The website says that you will get a response in 48 hours. I emailed on 10/2/19 and was finally contacted on 10/8/19.

The woman said that the order was never completed and she would help me place a new order and give me free expedited shipping for my trouble. She then told me my total would be $37 more for the same product I had ordered originally. She did correct that and gave me my new total.

When I got the email confirmation for my order it was more than what she told me because I was charged for the shipping. I checked my card and sure enough, it included the shipping charge.

I have been ordering vitamins from them for years with no issues but I will never order from them again. Absolutely horrible customer service.

I am finding completely formed PP's SAM-E pills in my poop!
I understand that they are enteric coated. From my research, this means that the pill does not dissolve until it gets to the intestines. Seems that is not happening. As a test, I dropped one into a glass of water and 24 hours later, no change. Emailed PP and asked them are they aware of this and why it is not doing what it is supposed to. The only thing I got back from PP was a return label apologizing that I did not like their product.

This company will offer a trail vitamins, my experience, its Impossible to cancel, the order. after months of cancelation,they continued to send me the product. even after, I explained that I was allergic, to the it. As of now I'm out of 202.00 dollors... A company I Don't TRUST!!! Oh I did return the Product to them, with their return number

Have bought many times from Puritan Pride. It has been great with excellent customer service! It has better deals than CVS.

Merce bloccata in dogana perché quelli di Puritan's si erano dimenticati di allegare la fattura.
Il tempo di chiedere il numero di tracking perché quello che avevo non era corretto, il tempo che rispondessero perché avevano "troppe mail da evadere", il tempo di contattare le Poste come loro mi avevano consigliato di fare... e la merce è stata distrutta in dogana.
I mesi successivi fino ad oggi sono serviti a ricostruire quanto sopra (tra mille rimpalli di email e telefonate, tra Dogana e Poste).
La mia mail a Puritan's di maggio scorso in cui spiegavo l'accaduto e chiedevo rimborso è rimasta senza risposta.
Assistenza vergognosa, ore perse e l'intera somma pagata svanita.

I have been a loyal customer of Puritan's Pride for about 20 years, NO MORE! On the morning of 4/16/19 I purchased $207.54 worth of vitamins from them on line. Later that afternoon I started receiving overdraft notices from my bank in my email. I pulled up my bank account and they charged me 25 times $207.54 for a total of $5,188.50! I called their so called "customer service" located somewhere in the middle east by their accents. And to make a long story short, I've spent well over 5 frustrating hours on the phone over the past 7 days and still don't have my money back. Their customer service personnel give you nothing but false promises, fake apologizes and massive hold times while accomplishing NOTHING. And forget about ever talking to the same person twice or a supervisor or anybody in the corporate office in NY. That won't happen. They STOLE over $5,000 of my money that I need for day to day expenses and could care less about it. Not only am I DONE with Puritan's Pride but I'm telling everybody and will continue to write reviews everywhere I can, over and over. They should call themselves Puritans Disgrace or Puritans Thieves.

I use probiotics regularly for years and there are certain parameters (number and variety of active cultures, for example) that matter. This is a good product for great value.

Hi, I bought a package about their URL and it never arrived, cause the address was changed by them. Then i phoned them for this, got money back, and had to order again. I did and gave the right address again. In order confirmation i got was a wrong address again, i phoned again, it was changed in other wrong name, i phoned again, at phone they always said right name and postcode and now its on the way again with wrong postcode and wrong name. Just wasting time for me to buy there ever again, ... i wonder how stupid some humans typing orders in their system could be.

I have done business with Puritan's pride for decades and found them to be consistently performing at the top of their industry. Their brand products are of high quality and their customer service is just about as good as it can get. It is always nice to talk or online chat with a representative when you need to ask a question or file a complaint. Their refund policy is also the best in industry. I recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable products and services in health supplements.

Per diversi anni ho comprato, facendo un ordine unico insieme ad altri amici, molti prodotti da questa azienda e sono sempre rimasto soddisfatto.
Purtroppo, dall'anno scorso (2017) la Dogana italiana ha cominciato a fare storie bloccando la merce in arrivo per poi rispedirla al mittente. Un funzionario della Dogana mi ha detto che possono entrare in Italia solo le dosi di integratori utilizzabili da una persona nell'arco di un mese. Ovviamente, questa assurda regola ha reso assolutamente sconveniente fare ulteriori acquisti, visto le notevoli spese di spedizione.
Ho apprezzato la correttezza di Puritan's pride che, dopo una mia apposita mail, mi ha velocemente rimborsato la somma (nell'arco di 4/5 giorni) da me spesa.
Che peccato però. Dobbiamo ancora una volta subire le solite assurdità italiane penalizzanti per noi cittadini...

I order Organic Neem oil on 8/21/18, my order arrived 8-10 days and instead of my neem oil i received a box of pistachios. I called customer service and they said i can keep the pistachios and will re send my order! Its 9/5/18 and still not got my order. I called customer service again and said i should give it 5 more days. By the way i threw the Pistachios away because the were not fresh and taste funny.

Comparando precios llegué a esta página y quedé impresionada por los precios bajos inigualables y las increíbles ofertas de compra uno y te regalan uno o dos o tres. Son de excelente calidad y tan efectivos que rápidamente he visto resultados. Y sigo comprando!

I wish their sales were true sales and not the buy 1 get 1 free. Just be fair and charge the right price for a single bottle instead of the jacked up prices. People continue to fall for it and I shake my head.

Over the years, so many items have been discontinued that I no longer can rely on them as my go to source. Vitacost is a better company to buy supplements from and their pricing is just plain fair. No smoke and mirrors.
