Annual service and MOT
Car in for annual service and MOT. Top customer care as usual. Thought I was booked in for a drop early and wait but garage had me booked for a drop and leave. However with a re-jig on their part and I was done and away by 11.30. I was made aware of jobs highlighted on their system as due (spark plugs & brake fluid change prior to the day and asked whether I wanted these carried out at service or not. Excellent service. I feel reassured my vehicle is in good hands.

If no stars was an option I would have selected it! I gave my Audi S5 for a diagnostic as the engine was rattling waited the whole day just for them to charge me £90 to say the engine is noisy and if I want to know what's wrong with it I need to pay more for further diagnostics like what was the point of me paying the initial amount? They gave no indication of of what it could be for example the chain or pistons could have said anything if it took them 7-8 hours and not even a compression check was done.

For absolute clarity, you attended our premises in person and asked us to move another of your pre-booked vehicles so you could bring your Audi S5 in sooner. We accommodated this request for your benefit only. At the time of booking, you stated you had recently purchased the vehicle from trade and requested a vehicle health check. There was no mention of any engine noise at that stage.
Only at the point of drop-off did you add that you believed there may be an engine rattle. In line with the authorised health check, we inspected the vehicle and confirmed that an engine knock/rattle was present. We then correctly advised you that proper fault diagnosis would require dedicated diagnostic time under a separate booking.
You were charged solely for the service you requested and approved. A vehicle health check is a visual and functional inspection â it is not an in-depth engine diagnostic. Meaningful investigation into internal engine noise typically requires several hours of dedicated labour, including procedures such as compression testing, advanced diagnostics, and in some cases partial strip-down. This work cannot be carried out within the scope or price of a standard health check and must be specifically authorised.
A follow-up booking for full engine diagnostics was arranged and agreed with you at collection. This appointment was subsequently cancelled at your request 8 days later.
We reject any suggestion that the agreed work was not completed or that you were charged unfairly. We delivered exactly what was requested, and we clearly explained the next diagnostic steps required.
Despite multiple attempts from our team to discuss this with you and reach a resolution, you have confirmed you do not wish to proceed further.
We wish you well in resolving the matter elsewhere.

We chose QuattroTech Vanwerks for our campervan window installation (1 side door, 2 rear) due to their strong reviews and excellent initial communication. The installation appeared fine, but within weeks, it became obvious that both rear windows leaked. To avoid a long return trip, we provided videos and details as requested. The issue was never properly diagnosed by QuattroTech, but after contacting the window supplier ourselves, it became clear the drainage holes had been completely sealed during installation. We had to spend hours removing excess sealant to fix the problem, leaving the area looking messy. After pushing for a solution, all communication from QuattroTech stopped entirely (it has now been over 3 weeks). Sealing drainage holes is a basic installation error, and the failure to identify itâor take responsibilityâwas deeply disappointing. We would not recommend QuattroTech/Vanwerks for van conversion work.

We have reviewed your installation and can confirm we fitted the side door and two rear windows to your Ford. We are very sorry to hear that you experienced issues with the rear window drainage and that this was traced back to an installation error. Although we have not encountered this specific issue previously in over five years of fitting windows, we fully acknowledge that mistakes can happen and we take responsibility where this is the case.
Since becoming aware of the issue, we have reviewed the process internally with our team and have implemented additional post-installation checks to ensure drainage channels are inspected and tested before vehicles leave our workshop. Preventing a recurrence is extremely important to us.
We would also like to sincerely apologise for the breakdown in communication you experienced. This is not the standard we aim to uphold. We have recently strengthened our team with an additional resource to improve responsiveness and ensure customer queries are handled promptly and thoroughly.
We regret that this was your experience and are sorry we did not resolve matters to your satisfaction at the time.

I cant recommend these guys enough. They were able to spot a misdiagnosis from a VW van centre that i was oblivious to - and the van wasn't even in for that! They helped me fight my case with VW all in addition to doing some nice modifications to my T6.
