Great experience with Tom Shaw
My wife and I were greeted by Tom Shaw just inside the front entrance. Tom presented us with useful information, then answered questions that we had and then let us browse by ourself. After browsing for a while, Tom showed by up just as we had some questions to get answers to. We discussed a couple of living room sets, then made a decision on the set that met our need. Tom has a wealth of experience making the purchase process go smoothly. Great experience, thanks Tom.

This is the worst company
This is the worst company. Customer service is terrible. They delivered a substandard quality bed and nightstands with multiple issues that were discovered after the furniture was signed for. Even after many purchases from them over the years, they flat out refused to make an exchange on the bed and nightstands. Their response was once you sign for it. You’re stuck with it.
They’ve lost me as a customer, and I would never recommend them to anybody.

He answered all our questions, and gsve us all the details we needed to be confident with our choice.He was also familiar with Mediterranean design. We put a deposit on the chairs before we left the store, and Denzel helped the sale process flow smoothly.

Terrible Experience-Remote Lift Recliner
My Handi-capped Uncle purchased a Remote Lift Recliner from Raymour and Flanigan in February 2024. He was actually mentally unstable at tge the time. He left a Nursing home on a Friday; and was admitted to the hospital by that Sunday. He ordered this chair between that Friday afternoon and Sunday. He paid almost $1500.00 (including warranty) fir this item. He was admitted to the hospital on that Sunday and remained there until June when the family had him admitted to a permanent nursing facility. While in the hospital the chair arrived at his home. My family had to get a POA for him. As my Uncle was under law income, I asked Raymour and Flanigan take the chair back and return his funds as he's never seen the chair and will never be able to use it. They refused. I called the Corporate Office for assistance and explained the situation; they agreed with the local office and said sorry; maybe you can sell it. My family and I have enough stress dealing with handling this situation. I couldn't believe this multi-million dollar company would have a problem helping in this matter. He is a US Marine Vet with a lot of pride. Government hasn't come through enough for VETS; I thought this company would have some understanding of the frame of mind VETS like him deal with daily. Some of their decisions aren't rational, but the families are the ones that always have the eat the cost these types of errors. My advice is to purchase items like this from a company that really cares about you; this builds trust and loyalty.
I just received a response from Raymour & Flanagan. Their comments were scripted and not showing any empathy in real life situations. The end of their statement gave an email address where I could reply. If they really cared, they would come pick up this chair and give him a refund. So many companies brush these circumstances from customers under the rug and hope they go away. O am posting this message to furniture stores throughout the entire East Coast and work my way to the West Coast. This was not the first Chair my Uncle has purchased from your company. I really want customers to be aware of the type of service and experience they will have when dealing with this company. What I requested was not impossible and because of circumstances could be reviewed. People make Policies and People can change Policies. It's not rocket science. I will post my horrible experience everyday. Rich companies want to remain rich; but maybe they will have to come down to feel what the average person feels.
