Very harsh return policy not made clear by store staff at time of purchase
We have bought several furniture items from Raymour and Flanigan over the years. Sadly, our recent experience with them was was very negative. The company has a very harsh return policy such that they basically do not allow any returns/exchanges unless you can prove damage. Me and my wife bought a dining set for 1300 and got it delivered through them. The wood finish looked different in our apartment lighting so we initiated return/exchange the next day. We were told by the store manager that they inspected the set in their showroom and since it looked the same to them as in our photos, regardless of what it looked like to us, they could not exchange it. I wish their store staff were more honest and upfront about stating their return policy at the time of purchase as it is easy to miss on the receipt. In speaking with the store manager Rich, I was told that while they valued that we were steady customers, they could do nothing to help us. They also should have mentioned that the furniture had a rustic finish wjhich was not apparent in the showroom lighting. Not going back.

paid cash on May 25th for furniture
I literally paid cash on May 25th, not credit. Today 22 June only half of what I paid for showed up. I’m perplexed how this can happen. I already threw out my existing furniture to make room. I had to cancel a family event due to this. I’m not happy at all.

Excellent customer service
First and foremost, the Sales rep was very nice, not pushy, not in my face the minute I entered the store. Her name was Kim. She was professional, listened to my requirement and took the time to search for what I was looking for. I feel she provided excellent customer service.

Purchase of bed
The sales person Fred was excellent. He was patient, professional and knowledgeable. The purchase was made and the outcome was perfect.
The delivery was flawless and delivering a King mattress to the 2nd floor is not easy. The guys did a great job.
