I have trusted Richer Sounds ever since the owner made the lovely gift of the firm to the staff when he retired. I had several headphones in mind, but when I found Richer Sounds sold one on those on my shortlist, my decision was made.
I enjoyed viewing the range of electronics in the shop.

A great knowledgeable team who were very helpful.

I have been buying kit from them for over 20 years and just ordered up another Monitor Audio speaker package including sub woofer. The experts in their Cambridge shop are always there on the phone to help and advise, even with my old Denon 6400 avr that I have just moved to my PC they are on hand for tricky technical tips getting it working.

What can l say “nothing” if you are reading this you are wasting your time.
Just have a good look at what’s on offer, in store, online, what ever method you have, make your mind up, look at the offers that go with it and buy.
That’s it, you can go and get stitched up somewhere else now, because that will never happen at Richer Sounds. I could say so make you would not beleave me, so just do it and sit back and enjoy your purchase.

Your staff were v helpful and answered any Qs I had. I had problems with my computer but they got back to me by phone. The item I chose was ideal and it arrived v promptly. The usual excellent service from my audio vendor of choice for many years.

Great experience end to end. Tom was polite and very helpful, explaining the delivery process and answering all our questions. We were kept informed on the day of delivery of progress and timing.

It was great to try out a range of speakers before buying. I ended up buying a different set as a result which are much more suited to my listening taste. A great buying experience.

I’ve been buying hi-fi equipment from Richard Sound Cambridge since my first system, and I’ve always had excellent service. Most recently, I ordered a pair of Harbeth P3 speakers from them. They kindly arranged an audition by sourcing a new P3 from Harbeth, and they also offered me a very good deal. Paul was especially helpful throughout. Based on my experience over the years, I’m very happy to recommend Richard Sound Cambridge.

The staff at the Cambridge branch were extremely helpful with their expert advice and product knowledge. They took a great deal of trouble to find the product which would match our needs and to arrange a demonstration so that we could be sure of this. Excellent service.

I bought a pair of headphones online from Richer Sounds, having bought all of my HiFi from them over the years.

The process was straightforward and I'm pleased with the headphones.

The only oddity was that I opted for the option for them to be delivered to the store; I was expecting an email from them, and instead had one from DPD, saying they were to be delivered. It turned out they were being delivered to the store! This was unnecessarily confusing.

I then received a phone call from the store to say they were in. Picking them up was straightforward, and staff were helpful.

I waited 30 days before submitting this report as there was a 30 day promotion on the TV that I purchased, this was honoured with just a few relevant questions (as to be expected) from LG. The price of the TV was excellent, delivery was free (the purchase had to be in excess of a certain amount) and I was given a lot of sensible and more importantly, knowledgeable advice from the friendly staff who attended me. The 6 year guarantee is certainly a plus for them (hopefully I will not need it). The two man delivery (due to the size and weight) was arranged around my availability and was on time with text messages to keep me informed. Overall I am happy with the deal and also happy with the way I was treated from start to finish. This is not the first time I have used Richer Sounds and I am sure it will not be the last.
