I wanted a second TV for a bedroom for when we have visitors; I didn't want to pay a lot as it won't be used a great deal. Armed with a selection of four possibilities, I visited the Lichfield store knowing that I could trust the expert advice I would be given to help me make my choice. Sure enough, after a fairly quick chat with Tom (thanks, Tom), who answered all the queries I had and highlighted the differences between the four sets, I made my choice, got a very good deal and was on my way home with my TV. Having set it up in the guest bedroom I think it may be better than the main TV, but, of course, it is newer - and I now have a refuge on Saturday night when my wife is watching Strictly! (It was pure coincidence that the purchase was made when the new series of Strictly started - honest).

The turntable arrived right on time. The Project Evo T1 is a step up from my old Project Essential (2012 model) the sound is much better and it matches well with my Monitor speaker and Rega brio Amp.

I am not computer savvy so had a lot of trouble trying to order a TV from R.S. I called Telesales and spoke with a great person,Dawn from Lichfield. She patiently walked me through the transaction and despite best efforts it still took both of us days to get things organised. Telly arrived but the screen was smashed RS were quick off the mark and in less than 24hrs new TV arrived. RS were great and customer care excellent even with the broken TV they resolved the problem immediately.
Finally, the telly is great the price really good and the 6 year guarantee is exceptional but what impressed me most was that Dawn and her colleagues at Lichfield, over 200 miles away, didn't shy way from a difficult situation/customer issue but tackled it head on.

I phoned up to check that my local shop (Lichfield) had the items that I wanted in stock and a very helpful person at the shop advised that they hadn't, but could arrange for them to be delivered to me or to the shop and it would take 3 to 5 business days. He was also very helpful in advising whether the items would meet my needs and what alternatives were available. The items where delivered in less than 24 hours in perfect condition and are totally to my satisfaction. Would highly recommend Richer Sounds.

Made my purchase over the phone and was told to expect ‘free’ delivery in 3 to 5 days. It arrived the next day!
I have bought items from Richer Sounds in the past. Always good service.
They are my first port of call.
As an added extra, for a small fee, you can pay an ‘insurance’ which lasts for 6 years. If you haven’t claimed during that period, you can apply for a refund.
I know this to be genuine, as I have claimed and received a refund in the past. No issues at all.

Purchased a AV receiver off them. Great advice up front and delivered in two days. Superb as ever.

We decided to shop for our new 55" TV from Richer Sounds & so visited our local store in Lichfield.
We hadn't used this company in a good few years for no other reason than not needing to.

Before visiting, we looked online and noted Richer Sounds stock prices were competative, and that company and customer reviews seemed very positive.

When we entered the store we were greeted by the Deputy Manager James who initially asked how they could help.
On explaining our requirements James asked a few questions following which he suggested some TV options for us to consider, he then left us alone to look at TVs on display in the store.

We asked several questions about 3 particular models and James answered all these for us and as each model was in stock and on display, conducted thorough demonstrations for us.
I have to say what was pleasant was the fact he wasn't pushy, wasn't in our face and appeared to have our best interests at heart, and not just out to sell us something.

As my wife and I are rather particular and a little fussy regards Tech stuff, I have to say James was extremely patient and remained helpful, patient and professional.

We decided on the TV we wanted (an LG 55"OLED G6), and although it was not in stock to take away, was delivered 2 working days later FOC.

I'd have to say, James was very helpful prior to any sale, and actually went above and beyond to assist further, following our actual purchase and the delivery of the item.

The overall service we received from Richer Sounds was wonderful and would certainly point us back in their direction should we be in the market for any product or service they may offer.

Going into a shop to discuss options and be given professional knowledge works for me. Getting the boxes home AND to be able to phone in for help putting it together. (Try this on amazon or Internet!!!!)
