It’s always a pleasure to deal with Richer Sounds, this time I only wanted a small wifi TV for the bedroom and I purchased a Phillips freely 32” it’s brilliant, I had a slight set up problem which Southampton branch soon sorted out over the phone. Thats part of the beauty of Richer, they answer their phone and they know what they are talking about. Thanks Richer

Five years ago I purchased an OLED television from richersounds and that was a good experience. What is exceptionally good is the free 6 year warranty! The television developed several dead pixels recently, so I decided to fill in the online warranty claim form and very shortly after received a phone call with a generous voucher towards a new television. It really was a stress and hassle free experience.
I have opted for the LG-OLED55C54LA and so far very impressed and pleased with it. Being OLED the contrast ratio is of course very good, but the picture is just stunning overall especially with 4K content and is especially good choice if you enjoy gaming with its array of PC and gaming console features optimising the experience. I use an AV amp for audio, but did try the units own audio system and I must say it's pretty good considering it has small speakers. They won't replace a dedicated AV amp or a good sound bar, but being Dolby ATMOS do sound quite good. I can imagine them being more than adequate for people on a tighter budget, and there is an array of settings to adjust the sound to ones preference including a mode to make speech clearer. I set the sound mode to cinema and found the sound to be quite pleasant, not tinny by any means, but obviously not the same as 5.1 + sound system. I've only had the television a month but not found anything to complain about.

Living on the Isle of Wight does not provide any opportunities to benefit from a good hifi retailer. However, I have found the Richer Sounds Team in Southampton extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I purchased a Marantz Cinema DAB60, a Panasonic UB9000 and a Focal Atmos speaker package. I had already shopped around online and their price was one of the best. They were very helpful arranging delivery to the island and making sure it was wrapped robustly. They were very helpful with set up advice and even phoned me back to check everything was working well. Their service is one of the best I have ever experienced. Welldone and Thankyou

With a heavy heart I had to cancel my tv order but I will come back to richersouds in Southampton

Jim was brilliant !
Fired a bunch of questions at him regarding Sony TV + soundbar/sub/rears audio package. Very responsive & knowledgeable including recommending suitable wall mounts. Very competitive price and super quick delivery - came the next day :)

65" Bravia 9 TV + Theatre Bar 9 : picture & audio are both top notch. Haven't set up the rears or sub yet , but with just the TV & soundbar , it's impressive :D

It's in a south facing room with windows opposite the TV & the Bravia 9 is more than bright enough to look good. Admittedly , it's not the summer yet ..but there has been a couple of sunny days ;) - and in low light it's awesome.

I cannot speak too highly of the staff at Southampton Branch,my initial contact with Tom and then followed up with Jim. who both had a wealth of knowledge and guidance.with their help I was able to get exactly what I wanted and at a very reasonable price.

After having had to return a non working AVR, purchased through my Amazon account, I decided to go for a soundbar directly with Richer Sounds. I am still waiting delivery. It would have been cheaper for me to have purchased directly from the manufacturer where next day delivery was guaranteed and FREE.
I will say that the customer service I received on my first two calls to Richer Sounds was excellent. Third call, not so helpful.

Your team at southampton show great professionalism they’re very approachable and when visiting it’s always a good feel factor. Also having the option of trading in and trading up is great for business both sides thank you.

We came in looking for a record turn table, also interested in cd player as well.
After some fantastic advice from Paul, we came away with both.
Had decent speaker cables made as well.
Easy to set up at home, the sound is pure quality. I have not used the turntable yet as that is my birthday present, in a couple of weeks.
I highly recommend this store the pure knowledge and information alone. Some amazing products for sale. All what I wanted was in stock, so was able to take home, straight away.

Popped in looking for streaming devices and given great advice by Tom. Ordered over the phone and arrived next day and did exactly what I was looking for.

Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, the delivery was as expected, the only downside was the TV was damaged in transit, Richer sounds organised another TV which was delivered two days later in good order.

Rob was extremely helpful and knowledgeable helping us make a decision on our purchase.
A couple of teething problems with delivery were resolved in a timely and professional manner.
System is just what we wanted.
