I've had Sony TV's for years and always found them to be good quality, reliable and easy to use.
All bought from Richer Sounds due to their good customer service.
Looking for a new bigger screen I browsed the local Currys to narrow down my choice.
After being somewhat taken aback by the Sony price I did some more research on line. I noted that there was some criticism of the Sony quality, compared to their older models and with the functionality of the TV guide in particular.
After speaking to the local Richer Sounds shop in Edinburgh I opted for an LG qned.
As parking is a night mare in Edinburgh I decide to order on line and go for home delivery.
Delivery was super quick and no hassle.
Having set up the Tv I am more than happy with the quality of the picture and the sound.
If I have one criticism it is the set up.
It was achieved more by good luck than good management as there is no manual supplied. The Tv does give you instructions verbally but they are so rapid in heavily accented English that they are impossible to follow.
There is also a recommended viewing facility which I find absolutely infuriating, and as yet haven't figured out how to get rid of it.
Once I've mastered the settings I've no doubt it will be superb.
All in all very pleased with this purchase.

I had a fantastic experience at Richer Sounds Southgate thanks to Daniel. I recently purchased the Cambridge Audio CXN100 and the service was excellent from start to finish.
Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about audio. He took the time to explain the features of the CXN100 clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood how to get the best out of it with my system. It never felt like a sales pitch—just honest, expert advice.
What really stood out was how friendly and helpful he was throughout the whole process. It made the purchase feel enjoyable and reassuring, especially when investing in quality hi-fi equipment.
The CXN100 is fantastic and I’m really pleased with it, but the level of customer service from Daniel made the experience even better. Richer Sounds Southgate is lucky to have him. Highly recommended!

First class customer service! Price matched the TV and arranged free delivery. I specially like to thank the store manager of Southgate Ali, for being a gentleman and honouring the price match by offering a free soundbar.

Excellent service and knowledge on my purchase, and efficiency on the refund as a result of damaged TV on delivery (not Richer Sound's fault).

Following my call to Telesales trying to source a specific LG television, the person handling the call (the store manager at Southgate) could see just one branch seemed to have the tv in stock. He explained he would have to phone them to confirm they indeed had the tv and phoned me back later to confirm they would be able to ship to me. That was great as I had drawn a blank on all UK big name shops, none had that particular tv in stock. I appreciate the time taken by Ali to satisfy my order, which was low value.

Mak was extremely helpful and went the extra mile for us, finding us a deal that matched what we were looking for.
All the staff were comfortable to be around, very knowledgeable and just pleasant to talk to.

Ordered a Hisense 55 inch Smart TV. Got it delivered the next day. Best Price with 6 year warranty. All staff from the sales to delivery very courteous and helpful all along the process.

After deciding to head to richer sounds in Southgate. My wife and I received fantastic service from Mak. He listened to our wants and budget. Selected the perfect TV. Unboxed and checked the tv was fully working before we left the shop. And I forget to mention he stayed almost an hour after closing. What dedication. If only I could find staff for my business with his dedication.

I spoke with Mak at the Southgate branch. He was helpful, direct and provided me with all the information and advice I needed, so the next day I called back and purchased our 55" TCL P7K-UK QLED TV for less than I imagined I'd need to pay for such a great TV.
