Have just moved in to our brand new Robertson home and absolutely love it!!
Has been a great experience start to finish - Sarah and Dan have been fantastic and couldn’t have done more for us during the whole buying experience They have kept in constant contact and always been happy to keep us up to date and deal with any queries we have had. Their help in getting us over the line and into our new home has been invaluable!!
Now we are in we are looking forward to enjoying the fabulous spec and finish of our new home for many years to come!!

From the minute I contacted the team (Dan and Sarah) at Torvean I felt looked after like a valued customer. From viewing a property to concluding just over six weeks later I was kept fully informed of the process, I knew what was required of me and the whole process ran smoothly.
The service has continued at this level since moving in with any small issues/initial snagging dealt with promptly and professionally.

I've having been trying since the 7th March to get them to fix my roof tile which crumbed and they said its not covered after two years. I had not lived here two years. Then another one has now crumbled off and still they will not take any responsibility. My partner was ill and I received rude emails about if I don't send photos of other faults they would not fix. He had suspected cancer and was in hospital for goodness sake. They said the house was sound proofed but i can even hear my partner turn in bed in the living room. They said they inspected the roof and there was nothing wrong with it. Well whose roof did you inspect? Now sending all photos and emails to NH BC. Do not ever buy these houses my toilet even flushes green weeds.

We bought at Torvean Inverness. From seeing the house to moving in was a short 5 weeks.
We mainly dealt with Dan ( Sarah equally as helpful and friendly) who was amazing. Open, honest and very knowledgeable.
We know exactly what we had to do, the appointment we needed to attend, selection of interiors, meeting with site managers, the documentation reviews and approval and handover. We were involved along the way. We have just moved in and we are so happy and want to say a big thank to Dan for his patience and understanding.
From a buying perspective it was amazing and relatively stress free. Hopefully we will not have too many snags and it over to customer care to see if they can live up to the high bar the sales team have achieved

We bought a 5 bed property at Torvean Inverness and we are delighted with the house and the professional service we received from Dan and Sarah. We could not fault the quality of the finished house. Dan and Sarah were so helpful and kind throughout the process. Many thanks indeed.

Gillian at the Shawfair site is just so knowledgeable and helpful, and a genuinely lovely person. Scott, the site manager also took an hour out of his busy day to reassure me about the quality of his houses and to show me around one that had just been finished. I was really impressed with the houses compared to other developers.

Although we haven’t purchase yet, meeting with Gillian at Shawfair development in Edinburgh has already been an outstanding experience. We visited the site and the show home, and we certainly were not disappointed. From the very first conversation, it was clear that they genuinely care about understanding our needs, preferences, and long-term goals. It just felt right. Gillian is so knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process so far.

What stands out most is how smoothly and easy everything felt—we’re confident that when the right property comes along, the buying process will be seamless and stress-free. Gillian has made it clear that our satisfaction is their priority, and that trust means everything when making such an important decision.

We’re excited about the journey ahead , we would be very fortunate to work with someone so professional and committed during the process. Highly recommend!

Awful homes, won’t take ownership of issue

My husband and myself would like to give a great big Thankyou to Maxine from the development at Lionsfield. Maxine is a totally exceptional sales representative, who has gone above and beyond to enable us to make a purchase upon this development and it was her persuasion that actually tipped the scales. Her knowledge and experience of this development along with her honesty and straightforward attitude made what was a difficult decision into a smooth transition. Well done Maxine you are a credit to yourself and company.

It’s been seven months since we moved into our home in Hamilton Heights, and the experience has been truly exceptional. Every snagging issue was addressed promptly and with the highest level of professionalism.

The support we received both before and during the move was outstanding. A heartfelt thank you to Russell and Gill, who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction throughout the entire process.

When we experienced an issue with our cooker shortly after moving in, Russell swiftly secured approval from his manager to have it replaced—an action that really exemplified their commitment to customer care.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done to make our transition smooth and enjoyable.

We are buying a property at St Margaret’s in Roslynlee and the process and care given to us has been outstanding. Diane and Joyce have looked after us so well, nothing is a hassle. Met Russell the site manager on Wednesday and as we haven’t seen the house type inside since we went to Hamilton to see the show home months ago… he let us have a peek.. which was magic as it makes it feel real again! Met some of the on-site workers who are also so nice. 2nd time buying a new property, 1st time with Robertsons, and this experience is way better than last. Thanks all… 7 weeks to go!!

Recently purchased a new home at St Margarets Rosslynlee, Diane & Joyce from Sales were extremely helpful and we cannot thank them enough as we found moving home rather stressful and their experience dealing with this was much appreciated.
Upon Moving in 1 month ago we met Russell the Site Manager who dealt with the minor issues we had promptly and professionally, his team Ross , Brett and all tradesmen provided an excellent level of service and are all a credit to Robertson Homes.
We are delighted with our beautiful new home and appreciate all the small issues being dealt with so quickly.

We have been waiting almost 5 years for outstanding issues to be completed and still ongoing. PThe last 12 months have been a waste of time due to sub contractor groundworker incompetence and lies. After responding to Robertson made up stories, there has been no reply from the MD, D. Stott, or customer care. It is a pity the customer can not be supported as much as their sub contractors.

Excellent sales team who were very helpful and kept us up to date regularly on how things were proceeding

We have had an excellent experience with Robertson Homes at Almondell Calderwood from start to finish. House was ready ahead of schedule and completed to a very high standard. The few minor snagging points were dealt with very quickly by Greg & Stewart and the team couldn’t be more helpful. Great experience!

The customer service from Dan and Sarah, from the very beginning of our buying journey was second to none. They made the buying process as stress free and as quick as possible. We really cannot thank them enough. We are more than delighted with our new home! 😊

Just recently moved in to new Robertson development at Almondell, Calderwood. We could not have been happier with the whole process from start to finish and are absolutely delighted with our new home. Linda Cockburn the sales exec has been absolutely fantastic since the first interaction and site managers Greig and Stewart are the best of the best! Every morning our four year old is at he window looking for Stewart as he takes the time to interact with our son whenever he sees him, and always has a smile and joke. Anything we have asked of the site team has been actioned immediately, and they have been so proactive in getting our snagging issues sorted. The after care we have had across all departments is excellent. Couldn’t recommend Robertsons more based on our personal experience!

Issue with sand mastic around windows at Great Glen Hall development in Inverness. Acknowledged by Robertson Homes over 2 years ago who accepted responsibility and agreed to put right. Absolutely liars, false promises and deliver nothing . Missed deadlines, never return your calls, Robertson managers Michelle ( supposedly customer service manager ) utterly useless, same as Jeannie (CEO PA) hopeless and don't care about any form of issue with your property or you as a Robertson customer. Be very wary of buying a Robertson home and if you do and something goes wrong with your property and it will you can forget about any form of support or help from there customer service team especially the two individuals that I have mentioned.

Yet again, I feel let down by Robertson Homes.

Buying a new build for over £500k, you expect things to be built correctly. Unfortunately it would appear that our roof was never built to the correct standards.

So, although watertight, tiles that have not been properly fixed in the first place will eventually move and cause more problems.

Their 2 year warranty is useless in this regard. Who puts a roofer on their new build, just to make sure it’s been laid correctly?

Robertson Homes have simply replied saying not their issue. Over these last 4 years at least they have been consistent with their willingness to sort out problems caused by their inefficiency.
