I’m sick of R&B advertising their shoes with 60% off and then when you follow link they not only are out of your size but are out of ALL sizes! Tempting people to click on link without a product to sell. Enticement.

Worst shoes ever! They have ripped my feet to shreds! My feet now look like they have been in an acid attack.
When removing the shoes after a 15 minute walk my skin come off with the loafers.

I have been shopping from R and B for 30 years, but the last 3 pairs of shoes I have ordered have been really bad quality. A pair of platform flip-flops in leather that are so heavy they just slide off the front, and the toe piece has completely disintegrated after a handful of wears. Another pair of slides that you constantly trip over because of the design at the toe, and trainers at £200 that aren't even up to being £50 in quality, uncomfortable and tacky. It is a noticeable drop in standard and very sad, because they used to be so much better.

I purchased a pair of the Austin wedge sandals in May 2024 and came to wear them the first time and one of the Diamantés came off the buckle whilst fastening them but because I was on a weekend city break I had no option but to wear them, the 2nd night I came to wear them again and the same thing happened on the other shoe. As soon as I returned home I contacted them and they advised to return them straight away and I was offered a refund or replacement, but because there was no stock I had to accept the refund - I did ask if they’d received anymore complaints about this shoe especially with the same issue on both and was told no. As I loved the style and hadn’t seen anything similar to purchase, I’d been keeping my eye on the site as my size was out of stock, anyway in the last few days I was able to order and they were received in a matter of days and the good news is I can see they have changed the design of the buckle, the prev one had diamantés stuck to a buckle whereas now the metal the Diamantés are set into is a complete unit so I’m confident they will be fine

I paid extra for next day delivery for today (Sat 6th July). I was advised that delivery would be 11.41-12.41. The shoes did not arrive, every time I looked up to see where the package was, there was a message to say that the driver was running late, until 7.30pm when I received an email to say that the driver had tried to deliver but had missed us. We were in all day. I wish I’d read the reviews on this website before ordering. Please, please don’t waste your money on this rubbish service unless you want to be lied to and let down. There are far better shoe suppliers for you to spend your money with.

I wish I had read reviews first. Russell and Bromley I thought had a good reputation. How wrong I was. Wore new shoes once (only a few hours) and they front of shoe came away from the sole. I sent back and was told "this is wear and tear and not a fault with shoe". How can they class this as "wear and tear" after a matter of hours! They were really expensive, I was shocked at their reply. Never buy from them as you shall waste £100's and be left utterly disappointed.

I bought a pair of shoes in 2003, never wore them, kept them in a box, wore them last Friday for the first time and they literally disintegrated to the extent that the waiter came with a dustpan and brush and asked if he could sweep up the shoes and I had to walk home barefoot!

R&B have said disintegration happens over time and I’m out of the 6 year limitation period. I’ve pointed out that there are shoes in museums that haven’t disintegrated and are a lot older, and other R&B shoes I’ve bought that are a similar age are fine.

They don’t seem to care at all about the quality of their product but rather say that all their shoes should be expected to disintegrate over time and regardless of whether or not used.

I feel that they mis-sell their products and given the price of the shoes customers should be told prior to purchasing that R&B expect their shoes to disintegrate (my wedges effectively turned to sand) regardless of whether you wear them or not.

Is appalling.

Had a QC issue with a couple of pairs of trainers. Contacted customer service and the lady who helped me couldn't have been more accommodating. Absolutely top class customer service. On visiting the store to collect the replacement trainers, the ladies there were also fantastic. 10/10

I bought these shoes thinking they’d be good quality. The store advisor told me they were the best selling work shoes, and very durable.

On the second day wearing them, the leather got punctured, just by walking. The store refused to take them back or to replace them, as well as Customer Service online. For a pair of shoes costing £245, you would never expect them to fail this early.

Please consider buying other shoes, unless you are keen on wasting money away.

This has happened twice ordered shoes for my wife online ended up returning them my wife didn’t even bother to try them on for £199 each
Plus P&P for next day delivery they arrived unpacked them they looked like someone had sat on them I took a picture and sent it to customer service so disappointed I returned them for a full refund.R&B have been going down hill for a long time I bought a bag for my wife many years ago after 2 days of use it started to fall apart I took it back they offered to
give me a Fresh one I said No I want a refund
She gave me a refund with a long face but
when you buy something from them they take
your money off you with a smile on their faces

Lovely Camden boots in stone. Disappointed that I ordered 2 other boots first, which I had to return due to ill-fitting sizes and a cost of £10 postage. R&B sizing seems very inconsistent at the moment. Dropped 2 stars due to postage costs and sizing issues. Just happy I managed to get this pair in the sale. Hopefully, they will last.

Absolutely shocking behaviour by customer services. Having spent over £2,000 on my wife with this brand I purchased a pair of boots for myself in the sale. I wore them once, out for dinner. After 800m I had to get a taxi the remainder of the journey to the restaurant and a taxi home. The blisters caused from a short walk were terrible. Still existing 10 days later. Absolute refusal by R&B to provide a refund on the items I returned, swiftly and in perfectly good condition.

I reached out to their Customer Service with a basic enquiry about a pair of sneakers. The description in the listing did not say what the colour of the outsoles are, the displayed pictures show they look "off white".

In the enquiry, not only did I include the link to the product so that there is no confusion of the actual item, I specifically asked them to LOOK at the product in real life and not go with what they see on their screen in the form of pics.

A couple of days later, they replied and confirmed the outsoles are "white", I ordered based on this info.

The order arrived was dispatched 4 days later, yes FOUR days to dispatch and arrived on day 5. There was the option for "express" delivery paying extra at time of check out; that is very misleading as it is NOT the delivery that is express but the DISPATCH that they do in a more timely manner. Express delivery means the order is delivered the next working day with immediate dispatch.

My order, using their basic delivery option by paying a delivery charge, was DISPATCHED on day 4 and ARRIVED the next working day, day 5, meaning ALL their delivery is by NEXT WORKING DAY delivery.

I opened the order and was shocked to find the outsoles of the sneakers were NOT WHITE but a light brown (I would describe it as light cappuccino) in colour. The inner packaging paper that came with the shoes, if one of their staff ACTUALLY looked at the product, can see that the outsoles were of a different colour to this white packaging paper, confirming that the outsoles were not white in colour.

As their staff cannot distinguish the difference between the colour white, I have no confidence in the brand. Order was send back for refund inc the delivery charge. The free loyalty/membership card they send me that arrived more than a week later went in the bin.

I have never come across such a poor retailer that takes such a leisurely approach to satisfying orders with their dispatch and can't distinguish the colour white even after I had asked them to look at the product in real life and not at the pics on the screen.

Quality shoes from a quality high end brand. Zero complaints

Recently bought another pair of shoes from R&B this time Trainers , again the shoes are top quality and feel great on my feet…

I purchased the AW 23/24 boots called ‘Edgy’ they are a black boot with a thick sole. The sole is made of very soft rubber which disintegrates and crumbles off making the boots look very worn after even one wear. I would say avoid this style. I have had a few other thick sole styles in boot and trainers from R&B that have not done this so I think it is definitely a style that has slipped through their testing process. Unfortunately R&B are not willing to accept this is a sub standard design and are unwilling to offer a replacement or refund. I’m so disappointed in a brand I have loved for many years.

My pair of sling point’s stitching was a bit faulty. After 3 months, I wrote to customer services. They replied promptly and advised to return them online or in store. The ladies in the Glasgow store were so helpful. They refunded in full and sent out a new pair at a much discounted price.
