Excellent Service
We are delighted with our new bathroom & bedroom windows. We chose Sash Window Workshop following a recommendation from a friend and we are so pleased that we did. Richard was very clear from the outset that although our windows are old and of complicated design, his craftsmen would do an excellent job. Now we have soundproof windows that look better than the originals and we are tasty warm as we look out over the garden. We should make mention of the men who came to fit the windows as they were always on time, polite, efficient and tidy. We have already recommended Sash Window Workshop to friends and will certainly continue to do so.

French Doors
The lovely French doors just made and installed by the Sash Window Workshop have transformed the basement living area of my grade 2 listed home. Beautifully made, they are both simple and elegant.
The quality is immediately apparent from the materials used as well as the construction.
From start to finish all contact with Sash Window has been a pleasant experience. Representatives of the company could not have been more helpful, patient or professional. Highly recommended.

Brilliant service and windows
I needed a made to measure unusual sash to match the existing in my Victorian house. From the initial home visit through to the installation the sash window workshop were fabulous.
They were honest and helpful and brilliant to deal with every step of the way.
I now have a brand new installation of a window in my kitchen which through up a few challenges - all of which they dealt with pragmatically and offered support to resolve.
I would recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommended. Very professional and a pleasure to use.
If you are looking for a company to manufacture, supply and fit wooden windows and or doors look no further. This company put in six new sliding sash windows (including the frames) into the front bay of our victorian property, in a conservation area in Brighton. They assisted us in obtaining the necessary planning permission from Brighton and Hove City Council, supplying all of the required drawings. They manufactured the windows and frames in advance and fitted them over a two day period. The windows are beautiful. Very well made and installed without issue. The fitters were very polite and tidy. All of the old windows and frames were removed immediately. They use new dust sheets on every job and sweep and hoover after each day. The only part they did not manufacture were the latches, two of the six were a bit stiff. I noticed this the weekend after the windows were fitted. I emailed their office, they immediately contacted me and made an appointment for one of their fitters to change the two stiff latches. Other than that minor point the windows are perfect. Every point of contact I had with this firm was positive and efficient, an absolute pleasure to deal with. The price of the windows was competitive and comparable with a quote I obtained from a rival firm two years ago (I did not use them as I had heard bad reports on them). This firm has been established for years and are financially secure, my background checks did not raise any flags (see companies house). The windows and service provided is worth every penny.

Very efficient company
This company was the height of efficiency, dates were maintained and the workers were friendly and cheeful, cleaned up well and worked with intelligence. I would have apprciated more comunication in reply to some of my questions in the early stages of the order, but otherwise a very recommendable company. As to the quality of their products, it would seem excellent, only time will confirm that opinion.

good work done
We have had Sash Window Workshop to repair the two bay windows at the front of our house and install double glass in the original Victorian frames. More recently they have repaired two smaller upstairs windows. They are very good. The man who came to measure them was polite and helpful and explained everything and the installers were punctual, rapid and extremely neat and clean in the house. All the windows are working perfectly whereas we had previously had local people whose work only lasted a short while before we were back to jammed windows again. They are not cheap but I think well worth it and the whole process has been utterly painless.

I am delighted with the quality of my replacement window and, in particular, the virtually exact copy of the original non-standard window frame - other companies had told me that they would not be able to make an exact copy. A number of staff were involved in the process from original consultation, drawing up plans, making appointments, payment and installation and, without exception, they were professional, friendly and always helpful.
