I have a real phobia to the dentist and spent all day worrying about having my wisdom tooth out. I nervously sat in the chair and couldn't believe when the dentist showed me my tooth. I was totally and utterly amazed at the care and speed. I am still blown away now as I write this. I would absolutely give 100 stars for the optimal service I received at Scott Arms dental surgery. The staff were absolutely brilliant, from reception going in to going out. Highly recommend!

Tannay and Ruby were amazing. Such a brilliant team. Caring and thoughtful and made the experience a positive one. Most of all Tannay listened to my worries and was very professional.
The front of house team were very professional and kind. A very welcoming venue. Thank you !

Excellent experience, the emergency services offered proved invaluable when toothache struck last Sunday and I was able to book online an appointment for early Monday morning. Plenty of parking space available at 08:00 Hours, efficient & friendly check-in at reception and highly professional examination, explanation of the issue, immediate treatment and potential need for follow-on treatment. Highly recommended.

I recently visited Scottarms for my routine hygienist appointment, I must say it was a delightful experience as always and a real pleasure meeting Laila & Sameena. They both exhibited a commendable level of professionalism and warmth, ensuring my comfort throughout. They took the time to articulate each step which demonstrates their expertise. The staff were exceptional ! The Dentist who attended to me, was so professional, caring and friendly! Given my predicament, he suggested it was best I went to A&E for further investigations. He was kind enough to telephone me an hour later, to check up on me. How kind!!!

I was a really nervous patient at the dentist until I came to Scott Arms Dental Practice. Dr Rushaine Smith has been absolutely brilliant from the very first appointment. I was put at ease straight away with everything explained and with modern practices now had no pain or discomfort at all with fillings and cleaning. I have even signed up to Denplan to finally sort my dental health in their safe hands. The only bad thing is that I didn’t find them earlier! Thank you for everything

First of all, I don’t like going to the dentist, I’ve avoided it for years. BUT… when my tooth chipped I was recommended to Scott arms by a gym friend. I booked my consultation, had an x-ray and then saw Dr Adam Patel

Dr Patel is brilliant, genuinely can’t talk highly enough of him. He was chilled, relaxed, took his time and explained everything

He did two root canals for my affected teeth and turned it around in 8 days - an incredible job with no pain

I have my 6 month check up in August and I’m actually looking forward to it

The whole staff were excellent, really friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough

I never usually write a review but if anyone is reading this and are worried about going to the dentist, go Scott arms (dr Patel if you can)

The service was second to none, very polite and professional made me feel welcome and comfortable, best dentist I have ever visited by far, I got my problem sorted within 20 minutes.

The experience was good and Dr Hamza Abbas made sure that I was relaxed.

Extremely disgusting and disrespectful practice.

After a few exchanged emails in which they confirmed they could provide the requested service and even wanted to take a deposit for one, at the end it became clear that no, they cannot make it.

These guys are a waste of time apart being unprofessional.

I can confidently say that Helayna is the most empathetic and kind dentist I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment I stepped into her office, I felt at ease with her warm and understanding approach. She takes the time to listen to any concerns and explains everything thoroughly, making sure I’m comfortable every step of the way. It’s rare to find a dentist who truly cares about their patients, and Helayna is a shining example of that. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-notch dental care with a personal touch!

Absolutely superb, for someone who was physically terrified of dentists, the staff and in particular the dentist was superb to the point that after a lifelong terror though still nervous now does not dread seeing the dentist.
At the Scott Arms every step of the process was explained in a kind and caring manner. We were listened to and advised of different treatment options all the fees were explained and a full treatment plan printed for the patient to study and decide. The receptionists were friendly and polite, nurses supported and guides you with efficient professionalism. We are now considering transferring the whole family to this practice I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank You and well done to the whole team.

I’ve been with this practice for almost 6 years. When Amrit was there she was amazing never had such a brilliant experience with a dentist. Once she left everything seemed to go to pot. I’ve had goodness knows how many hygienists let alone dental surgeons, have a different one every time I go now. Anyway I had an appointment today . I finished work early to go but unfortunately due to the horrendous road works especially newton road I couldn’t get through the traffic. I was literally across the road but just couldn’t move, I phoned the surgery and spoke to a lady and explained I should be there in the next 5/10 mins. She said it was fine and not to worry , When I got there the terrible car park was choc a block as usual. I had to park across the road which was a good walk which made me a few more mins late. When I got there a rude assistant told me I was late so I wouldn’t get seen, I asked her to take a look at the car park and how was I supposed to know I couldn’t park and had to walk. She told me to take a seat. Minutes late she called me to say the dentist wouldn’t see me I was too late, I asked why I was told it was okay by a receptionist . She asked me her name I said I had no reason to ask her name. She was very rude said the computers were down so couldn’t make another appointment. I was fuming I left work early for nothing . I know they don’t care but you have lost a loyal customer. Shocking customer service and your receptionists need a course of people skills. Sort yourself out guys what’s going on. So many staff have left. Now customer are leaving. Thanks for nothing today

Excellent service from both the dental clinician and the staff who were very helpful

The dentist practitioners work at a very high standard of care and this shows through the professionalism they convey on each of my visits to the practice. The receptionists are too very courteous and polite and can’t do more for you to work around your lifestyle. I would highly recommend this practice to family and friends.

I have been a long-time patient of Scotts Arms and have always had positive experiences—until my most recent visit. Recently, I called in regarding discomfort in my back tooth and was given an appointment for 9 PM after initially specifying my need for a late appointment. I was seen by a dentist named Mandeep, who was incredibly rude and unprofessional during our interaction.
Despite not requesting an emergency appointment, Mandeep insisted I needed two fillings but could only provide temporary solutions. When I expressed my confusion, he laughed and said, “Who do you think is going to give you a normal appointment at 9 PM?” This comment made me feel belittled, and he seemed indifferent to my concerns.
When I spoke with the reception staff afterwards, they mentioned that stating I was in pain automatically classified my visit as an emergency. I don't agree with this policy, as I simply voiced my need for an appointment, the same way I would for a doctor's visit.
While the reception staff and Mandeep's assistant were helpful, Mandeep's dismissive attitude was unacceptable. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and understanding, and I hope he can improve his communication style in the future.
Overall, my experience today was very disappointing, and I hope the clinic addresses this issue moving forward.
