I visited the practice with a painful
wisdom tooth

I visited the practice with a painful wisdom tooth .I was greeted by reception who was really nice , Then was introduced to Dr Andrew Khalli who took me through the process of having a Xray to see exactly what was going on unfortunately for me the wisdom tooth had also damaged the tooth next to it ,Both had to be removed that day i was concerned because i take a blood thinner and was concerned about bleeding but i cant give him enough praise for professionalism on how he went about it i left the practice feeling very positive from a bad situation the whole process was pain free from start to finish also dental nurse was very good im booked back in one month

Ask before about your prescription charges

For one minute treatment they charge me £46 and for prescription I’d never knew the rule where they don’t give you paper prescription. You have to buy a prescription from them which costed me £26 rather than £10.

We are disappointed to read your review. Your appointment on Christmas Eve was made independently, not under the NHS.
Therefore, we cannot provide an NHS prescription. Your assessment, diagnosis, and antibiotics were dispensed to you for a total charge of £46.00.
We hope you are now feeling better.

The staff are wonderful

The staff are wonderful. The reception staff are so kind. I had a late night emergency appointment and all the staff are working so hard. Everything was explained to me from the first phone call.

Totally amazing service provided by


Totally amazing service provided by this dental practice.
Everyone at this practice was extremely helpful, kind and professional.
The dentist who I was seen by (I'm really sorry, but I've forgotten his name) was honestly amazing, very thorough, he answered all of my questions and hr explained the plan of action.
Thank you for seeing at 10.00 pm, you have honestly helped me.
Highly recommended 10 out 10.

Just Wow


I visited your practice yesterday after (12.35 with Tannay) this was an emergency appointment for a problem that I have put off for 7 whole years due to being petrified of any dental work or any dentist. How wrong I was !!!!
From the moment I walked through the reception door I was greeted with smiling friendly faces, the whole atmosphere was very calm and very chilled, even though very busy the practice runs like a very well oiled machine. It was a joy to hear staff chatting and laughing together - not stuffy or regimental like usual surgery’s. 
It was not too long of a wait before a lovely assistant came and fetched me and took me to the most incredible room with a view and Tannay was waiting for me . He was so kind , so patient and so understanding obviously noticing I was nervous he talked me through every single step of what was going to happen and what to expect after  . Within minutes my 7 years of suffering was over .
I am so happy to have found The Scott Arms Practice and I have already booked my next appointment. Paying the bill was also a nice experience- no overcharging or feeling of being ripped off ! 
This practice get a well deserved 10/10 from me . Thank you to Tannay and his nurse ( so annoyed with myself for not asking her name ) you have both restored my faith so hopefully one day I can be proud of my smile again.

First of all, we’re so pleased that we could see you promptly and help you with the discomfort you’ve been putting up with, for so long, and to know whilst doing that we’ve managed to restore your faith – it doesn’t get much better than that for us!

Good treatment from start to finish....

From Reception to the dentist chair and back, I was well taken care of. There was a slight delay to my appointment which wasn't acknowledged but I had a very positive experience under the expert care of Dara Cotton. She is welcoming, knowledgeable and pragmatic in her approach. Always careful to acknowledge my needs as a patient.

Tyler & Nikki provides high-quality dental care.

Tyler provides high-quality, patient-centred care. He always has time to for an informal quick chat before he asks about your medication & dental routines.
He is always extremely professional, demonstrates empathy, concern, & full understanding of patient needs according to individual needs.
Tyler always pays attention to detail during dental cleans & is the best hygienist ever. He provides the most comprehensive cleans & is really adept at using small instruments causing very little discomfort.
He works well as a team with his excellent technician.
Nikki as always is a top notch dentist & is second to none.

staff was friendly and the dentist was brilliant ,, i am a nervous patient and was put at ease from the start,, he informed me all that he was going do ,, i would definately recommend,, this is twice ive used them as an emergency,, and twice have be brilliant,, so thank you ,, wished i could remember the dentist i seen that day,, but a big thank you to him x

Shailee, simply marvellous

There are a couple of minus's. Parking is a bit of an issue as they are so popular & there seems to be a national shortage of hygienists which they are trying to address.
The big plus point is, as much as I hate going to the Dentists, Shailee is a wonderful Dentist.

Best dentist is DR SHYAM

I booked at scott arms in an emergency thinking the worst but left with the best outcome and relieved from pain. I was seen by DR Shyam who was very gentle and informative of the treatment I required this made me feel at ease. Couldn’t thank DR Shyam enough.
All the staff at the practice are all friendly and helpful. Would go back again and recommend to anyone!
