We specifically asked for the 4-seater sofa to have the same design and reclining layout as the 3-seater we had seen in store. We were assured this was the case, so we placed the order.

When the sofa arrived, we discovered the two middle seats are completely static and do not recline. Instead of looking like a standard reclining 4-seater, it looks like half of a cinema-style modular sofa, which is not what we expected or believed we were buying.

Since discovering the issue, we’ve contacted customer services several times. We’ve been repeatedly told that someone would contact us, but no one ever has. We were even told the store manager would call us on Saturday, but that never happened either.

The whole experience has been extremely frustrating. We feel we were mis-sold the sofa and have been let down by the lack of communication and after-sales support. We expected much better service, especially when spending a significant amount of money on furniture. At this stage, we just want someone to take responsibility and resolve the issue

I visited the store in Aintree with my husband as we urgently needed a recliner chair for him. My husband was incredibly ill and in a hospice at the time, but able to manage occasional trips out and home visits. Tom helped us in store couldn't have been more helpful. We found a great chair that was available for delivery within 14 days and Tom contacted the delivery guys to get it to us as soon as possible. The chair arrived within 4 days (and that included a weekend). My husband died a few weeks later, but having that chair meant he could come home more and be comfortable, and enabled him to spend his last weekend at home. I cannot tell you how much that meant to us both and our two children. Thank you so very much for all your help getting the chair delivered as fast as possible.

We only went in for a little look around wasn’t expecting to find what I wanted but, then we met one of your sales people LOUIE. He was so helpful & very friendly with a good sense of humour, nothing was to much trouble. We’ll be going back in the near future to buy a chair my daughter saw. No hesitation in recommending your company well, that particular shop.

Cannot fault the store in Aintree - Kate was so helpful and patient and we picked the sofa and then chose the fabric - waited 15 weeks for delivery and it arrived Wednesday this week and... the fabric feels cheap and stiff, the cushions are not stuffed symmetrically so one arm has dents, and the back isn't level. I pointed this out to the delivery guy who punched it down and said 'it'll settle'. It hasn't. The delivery men hassled me to sign to say everything was ok, getting impatient when I said 'let me just check' - that was when I noticed the back was wonky. I can't express how disappointed I am. I have been 18 months trying to find what I thought was the perfect sofa for the room and I feel like I've got a cheap solution - its definitely not as nice as the one in the showroom - stuck with it now thought but it was an expensive £1400 lesson for me - my last 2 sofas were from DFS and I should have stuck with what i knew.

Louis the sales man was excellent at his job any questions we asked he was very knowledgeable and answered them accordingly he was really helpful with us picking our furniture and explained everything in detail. He was a very friendly person to talk to
