Feet don't fit sofa so currently waiting 8 weeks for replacement,So we're sat virtually on the floor with legs sprawled out.Rang customer services 4 times now to raise a complaint but noone answers!

Had my new sofa delivered today, by Joe & Mark, excellent delivery drivers kept up to date with time and phone call when 40min away.
Put the sofa in place removed all packaging and very chatty and happy.
In store Beverly was very helpful in us deciding on colours and size.
Only downfall you can't speak to anyone direct over the phone or contact the store direct with a quick question, had to contact customer service and wait ages in a queue!

Joe and Mark delivered our sofas today 21/2/25 DON 119 535. What polite and professional men they put sheets down in our lounge to protect the new carpet we were very impressed by their service we will be recommending Scs

I have had a beautiful suite delivered,and the delivery lads were very prompt, polite, and happy to explain the workings of my new recliner!

Assistant very well mannered and helpful. Made sure we were given answers to all or questions and made us a welcome cup of coffee. Very pleasant visit to Doncaster store.

No pushy salesman, allowed us to look around and ask for advice if needed. Big shout out to dean SCS doncaster. Thank you for time and patience for us choosing the right sofa for us. This man deserves a bonus!

** UPDATE 24TH FEB 25 ** SCS respond at the bottom of every 1 star review as if they are going to look into our complaint / issues, we felt hopeful - NEWS FLASH - THEY DON'T !!! unfortunately. It's just a standard message to make it appear to any potential customers that they are a good company which they definitely are NOT ! - I'm still waiting for a response to my email, which detailed my order number and details they requested so they could look into it - BIG BIG BIG FAIL SCS ** I will keep updating this review until they deal with it just so prospective customers can see how SCS deal with this complaint and the time scale. We bought the suite July 24 and we are now 10th Feb 25 as this message is written.
COMPLAINT DETAILS
My husband and I took delivery of our £4500 paradiso suite in July 24. It was aparrent within the first couple of days the quality of the cushions were inadequate for the sofa and were causing the fabric to bag and crease severely. The cushions trap in the mechanism of the recliner, the sofa tips, the back legs come off the ground on the sofa this happens every time we sit on it and has caused my elderly mum to scald herself. We have been told by the manufacturer ashford designs that it shouldn't do this and that SCS should deal with it. SCS sent a technician who advised all Recliners tip apparently.

After contact with Penny the SCS Continuous Improvement Analyst | Chief Executive’s Office and Mikala thereafter the email we received below is as I'm sure you can see totally unsatisfactory.

'Following your conversation with Ashwood Designs, if they believe the furniture is not performing then it would be down to their discretion to take any further action on their part. I am sorry if you feel we have not taken your concerns seriously'

So between SCS and the manufacturer, we are STILL stuck in the middle of all of this NO ONE will take responsibility for it.

We have followed every path advised and still no acceptance or help in sorting it out. We took photos into the store in Doncaster where it was purchased who were shocked at the state of the suite after just a few months and said to take to small claims court but it is at our own expense, there was nothing they could do in store apparently.

Our last suite was from SCS but a different manufacturer and is still in excellent condition but this suite is terrible and I now wouldn't recommend either the sofa or SCS based on the quality of the suite and the aftercare we are receiving. Ashford-designs stated in their last email

'We forwarded all the details and your email on to SCS and we are waiting for the managers to get back to us'. This was on 14th Oct 24.

Simply disgraceful £4500 wasted !

We bought a £4500 3piece plus foot stool suite last July. Within 2 days we had contacted them about the poor quality of the suite. Sagging material due to the poor quality cushions and the settee tips forward when you sit towards the front. Our previous suite was from SCS which was from a different manufacturer and that was very very good.
Despite 2 technician visits saying there is nothing wrong with the suite, everyone including the staff in the shop say that the quality of the suite is unacceptable. Sales Order No. : S0044-7508214

The delivery guys who delivered our sofas were great ,they was a bit worried at first as they though the suite wasn’t going to fit through the door but they managed great team work ,they respected the property by putting sheets down as they entered ,it took them just under an hr to bring them in and assemble them which was pretty good ,can’t complain ,no issues and no problems ,would recommend scs to friends and family.

Customer service.A very polite young man was most helpful in helping me decide what colour to choose. He carried material samples to the settee style of my choice. Never once did he show any signs of being tired of me being indecisive about style or colour.He explained everything in detail to me ie, choice of payments available, delivery date.No pressurised selling whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this store.

I was greeted as I entered the shop, but left alone to wander around. When I decided on which sofa I liked the salesman couldn't help enough.
He was so patient while it took me a very long time to choose a colour. He was very helpful and understood that its a huge decision and couldn't be rushed. I was offered a drink and I appreciated not being rushed in to any decision.

Sales person Callum was very informative and knowledgeable. Made the experience of buying a sofa a pleasant experience. Well done
