We received confirmation our new sofa was coming which was great but when it arrived the delivery staff who were fantastic rang my husband to ask if we had double doors which we said no we have standard door size the same as most households. The delivery lads tried their hardest to deliver our new sofa which was fully paid for but was unable to as too big so they had to return it to the company which I understand as I needed it safe as cost a lot of money. We got a phone no from one of the delivery lads of a man who can take furniture apart to get it into the property which we contacted and he did an amazing job highly recommended so after 2 days of not having anything to sit on we got sorted after having to pay a further £240 to the gentleman . When we purchased the sofa we had no mention of needing large door way as we thought the sofa came apart into sections to fit through as most properties have the same standard size doors. This should have been explained to us in store before purchasing. The only thing the lady told us to measure was where in the living room the sofa would be going which we did. I’m very disappointed with the aftercare when trying to resolve this matter as after contacting the store manager who was no help whatsoever we had no further communication from yourselves regarding receiving our sofa we had to sort it ourselves with the gentleman who was taking it apart. Feels like once you got the sale/funds in full you were not interested in any further help. The delivery lads and man who got it in were brilliant but that’s the only good thing I have to say , I’ll be advising people to shop elsewhere. I also think your staff need extra product and customer service training as things should be explained in more detail.

We went in just to look for a new sofa and Jennifer attended to us and she was simply amazing she went through everything with us and helped us pick our favourite sofa. She wasn't pushy she just let us do our own thing especially shopping with a new born.

Bought the Ostellato couch from SCS yesterday and had a really great experience. Jennifer was brilliant — she gave me space to look around (which I really appreciated as I hate being pestered), but as soon as I needed help she was straight there. Friendly, helpful, and not pushy at all. Can’t wait to receive my couch — it was honestly the comfiest thing I’ve ever sat on! Will definitely be returning after this experience.

The delivery team were arrived at stated time. They were friendly and efficient and assembled the sofas quickly and placed them where I wanted them and removed all packaging thanks

The durham branch staff were amazing and let us browse and go and ask them for advice rather than pouncing on us when we walked through the door unlike some of your other branches and other sofa retailers which is one of the reasons we purchased. When asking for advice your sales agent was so lovely, very friendly and informative, she didnt hover over us either and said to take our time and catch her if we decided to go ahead which was very refreshing

We were given information by Terry as soon as we walked in then allowed to look at the sofas which was great not to be pressured , he was knowledgeable and very helpful in making our choice

This is the single worst experience I have had buying a sofa in my entire life - after sales very rude and tried to convince me I’d bought the wrong combination sofa and even when I proved I hadn’t they still put on the notes I had.. had to beg to get the incorrect sofa collected, and they even had the wrong address as collection a complete debacle - now have to wait until August for my new sofa absolutely incredible the level of incompetence I would strongly NOT recommend this company to anyone else… not even any compensation offered for this completely unacceptable bad experience. If I could have allocated zero stars I would have.
