A lovely set-out store with plenty of sofas and chairs to choose from. We were welcomed by friendly staff and then allowed to have a look round and try the sofas, etc on offer. There was no attempt from the staff to give us the heavy-handed sales talk and when we eventually decided on a couple of chairs the staff were on hand to attend to us. We asked to see different fabrics and colours and everything we asked to see was never a problem for the staff. We picked the 2 chairs we wanted together with the fabric and colour and were given a price and estimated date of delivery.
All-in-all a very stress-free visit to a store with very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Very clean and fresh on entering with genuinely welcoming staff that didnt rush for a sale ,at dragonville durham.
This gave us time to chat privately about our needs and when staff were required - no problem and knowledgeable about the products.
Only 1 thing which i would like to have seen , dowloaded the app that was spoke about for the sofa and chair in store as its not visualy promoted but im sure the delivery guys will assist with it

Purchased 2 sofas in july2024. We are moving and need to dismantle them. Popped into the Durham shop where we purchased them, which is now Poltronesofa,.Explained to the 2 female assistants we needed advice, to be told new company, don't stock them anymore. They have a sales aftercare service, but no help whatsoever. Disgraceful service. Both need training , and management should be available. Tried to ring in, no way possible, not a good way to run a company.

Durham SCS. Me and my partner bought a recliner sofa in-store. When the sofa came it was not a recliner. We used the customer service email and online form to complain and have had no response. We then went in store and the sales assistant agreed he had made a mistake and would order us a recliner sofa as a replacement. He later, rang my partner to say his manager had not approved the replacement so we would not get a recliner. We have since complained to multiple email addresses and even wrote letters with no response and it has been a month. I am not the only person with this experience. The customer service is appalling and I will not be purchasing from them again!
Edit due to reply: All complaints (emails, online form and letter) are in the account holders name so there is no excuse for a lack of response. As stated above we have been in-store and were told by the sales assistant we would receive a replacement and he admitted fault. Not one complaint email or letter has been responded to. What can we do to get a response to our complaints?

Delivery was earlier than stated, the guys were efficient and friendly.
I have one issue. We paid an additional £49 for a care kit and we have not received it. I can see from the POD that was emailed that the care kit is on there and I have signed for the delivery, however I was only given a blank screen on the device to sign, I couldn't see an itemised list of what I was signing for. My husband has called in at the store (Team Valley, Gateshead) and advised that we did not receive the kit. I hope to get a call from them in the next day or 2 to go into store and collect it

Two lads Ronnie and Dalton delivered our new couch and single today. They were good craic, fast and efficient while taking time not to damage anything too. The tracking feature that is sent to you on the morning is brilliant and gives you a bit of peace of mind for if you need to nip out. The couch and seat themselves are very well made and high quality. Very happy

The two delivery men were fantastic. They were friendly polite and completed their opening boxes , clearing away all cardboard rubbish etc placed sofas where needed to be situated and asked if they needed to do anything else for us . Cannot praise them enough .

The sofa was unpackaged in the van so by the time in was in the house it was dirty but my main concern was that they had no idea how to even wire the sofa up or how it worked and we didn't recieve a manual so we are having to figure it all out ourselfs. Then then told me I would have to spend even more money on some gliders for the feet as the sofa will damage my flooring but wasn't told this on the day we purchased this sofa.

The Two lad's were very pleasant and respectful worked tidy, were on time.

First of all, I never give anything 5 out of 5, cos no one be it personally or a firm are perfect. Saying that, our experience with SCS, both in the shop to delivery to aftersales has been second to none. I'm no good at names, but the salesman was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Delivery was quicker than expected, and the 2 lads who brought it, top notch. It had to be stripped down to get it upstairs, but nothing was a problem for them. Totally satisfied with the whole experience.

The quality and design seems to have vastly improved over the last 12 months and there were several styles that we ended up choosing between.
The showroom staff were helpful without being pushy, and the order process was straightforward.
The online tracker to see the progress of your order is a great idea, but in my case nothing was updated after the initial order was logged so it was not at all useful in practice.
The delivery men were polite and respectful and set everything up and tidied up the packaging afterwards.

Have no complaints about the service, phoned ahead and were polite and friendly, arrived at the time they stated and even with the horrible weather they were friendly and respected the home when entering, exiting and building the sofa, cleared up all rubbish after and explained about the sofas and maintaining them, very happy with the service given in store too, polite, friendly and informative about range of products they offer and had no problems answering my questions even over the phone.
