Altogether a easy great experience

Incomplete delivery, was advised to pay before delivery which I did, at NO TIME was I advised that delivery would not be as ordered!!!
Delivery lads were not aware that order not complete, was necessary to accept chairs as no furniture and as in my 70s not willing to continue sitting on the floor untill when ever, lad did point out could be another 2 to 4 weeks.
Company should have at least the curtesy to inform customers, and not expect full payment for items that are not going to be delivered!.

We were kept up to date with the time of our delivery from the drivers once and the rest on their tracking which was good. There was one guy unpacking in the back on the truck as it was raining and one bringing the pieces into the house and putting the sofa together. I offered to fill their refillable travel mugs up for them as the weathers not great and was told they’re not allowed to accept anything from their customers. Such a shame as they were running an hour late due to the guy bringing the pieces in having to train the new guy he was working with and I’m sure a coffee would have been welcome. This is where the good part ends. After the sofa was put together, they left. The sofa is a recliner and wasn’t plugged in and I wasn’t shown how to use it. I know the guy says he has 3 minutes to put each seat together but surely making sure the customer is happy is a big part of the job. I then had to mop the rear porch floor, kitchen floor and lounge floor as there was mud and grass right through. One of the guys used the loo and the mat was filthy, but, the worse bit was he’d left urine drips all over the toilet seat, that is just uncalled for and a total lack of respect for anyone’s property

Delivery of 2 seater and 1 seater chairs was great and on time, but second part of order was not delivered even though I received an email to say it was delivered at 11:15 that same day. Can you please let me know what happened. Many thanks Norman

Delivery received as advised on time, driver and crew very good, polite and delivered and assembled with no fuss. Explained the assembly and all key points, were respectful of my home.

On the initial visit to the showroom to view what was on offer the sales person was very helpful, so much so that we ordered what we wanted there and then.
When we thought the delivery date was imminent we made enquiries and the dates given were accurate.
On the day of delivery we were kept up to date with progress of the delivery vehicle, and when the vehicle arrived because of unforeseen circumstance
delivery was difficult but the delivery guys got on with the job. In spite of the problems they were very efficient, polite and care as they assembled the furniture. Two top guys.

Choosing was the hardest thing to do, but once settled the rest was easy and stress free, thanks to the store, delivery drivers and all communication. Ordering was easy, the information flowed, delivery was spot on.
The seats in now and looks as expected unblemished, the 2 drivers called to say they were coming early, great, installed, tested and cleared up. Brilliant

Absolutely brilliant service and product. I have used SCS numerous times now and have never been disappointed. The delivery lads we polite, speedy and professional.
Highly recommended.

What can I say Terrible company What you see in the shop isn’t what you get . Payed £3000 for a 3 and 2 seater sofa and footstool even upgraded to a better leather . Day one and my sofa looks like it’s years old cheap made and poor quality. Guess what had the technician out after waiting 4 weeks and no manufacturer fault found

Went out of there way to lie to us promising ( even when told about tight access ) we have the best delivery team and wouldn’t be a problem and if they can’t get it in they have someone to send round and sort , to be told we have to pay £150 for this service and it’s not there problem we own it and should of read the small print . So be very carefull when buying from these

P. S anybody can write cover reply but it doesn't take away from blatant lies from scs sales team s and it's a bit late for to avoid damage we now have the colour of the settee on 2 walls where they got it stuck so the settee yove took back must have white paint on. It's seams commission and sales come 1st for scs

The friendliness of the staff was really good and the recliner I bought is also good but your treatment of customers wanting to collect their furniture to save the exorbitant price you charge for delivery was disgraceful. I was told it was a single charge of £117 but when I refused they said I could collect but then made a phone call and said it wasn't allowed which is a lie but then made a special offer to charge £70 delivery so much dodging and diving I don't trust any of your staff. If this is how you do business I won't be coming back.

Excellent delivery service today by the two males, excellent team work and good banter, very polite and friendly.

From popping into the show room, to delivery, fabulous service. The gent in Durham showroom was lovely, helpful, and we bought a ex display sofa, and ordered 2 chairs made to match. The sofa arrived today, (chais to follow) the delivery lads Robert and Kai are top lads, looking forward to seeing them again when the chairs are ready!

Delivery staff did very well getting a very large and heavy settee exactly where I wanted it despite an awkward manoeuvre through the doors. They took great care to ensure no damage to door frame and paintwork.

We ordered our new Sofa through Durham branch. That was easy enough, great customer service and kept upto date with progress. Sofa itself is great! No complaints. My only one is fact my wife rang me at work to say one of the delivery staff had told her can she get our dog (German Shepherd) to shut up cause the barking was going right through him. Our dog was locked in his cage whilst delivery was being done & he will bark with 2 strange men in his home around my wife and son. End of day hes there to protect. Next time if he wishes to visit and say it to myself, I'm more than happy to open the cage door instead to see how quick he can run to the gate.

A small black non scratch protector came off the leg of the sofa and the delivery team replaced them with”cups” without telling us why
About to ask for a new foot o be fitted from SCS as these look atrocious

Professional, quick and efficient from the outset. The delivery team likewise were superb and worked very quickly in setting up the sofas

Good communication before delivery, all went smoothly and a friendly service too.

The delivery drivers were very polite very tidy A1** very professionable excellent service
