Corner sofa purchase
We were looking for a specific size of corner sofa due to our room restrictions.
Akaash provided useful information on each sofa we looked at and steered us to different options.
With his and his manager's help we were able to purchase a sofa that met our requirements.

We visited the Huddersfield store today and was greeted by the salesman akaash . he was so helpful and gave us some great ideas as to what to choose we would not hesitate to use this store again . the store manager was also full of interior design knowledge and was so friendly.we would like to thank you both for your help

Sofa bed ordered in September for a pre Christmas delivery (22nd November)
No communication from SCS to say it would be delayed and the manager of the Huddersfield branch only just informed me after 3 visits to the store that it’s a delay at customs. I’ve sent two emails with zero response. Customer service appears to be none existent

Bad customer service
Stephan rushed us to purchase a sofa, he filled it out on the ipad with us in store and he selected the wrong colour. Once we received the sofa in the wrong colour, Stephan did not empathise that he did he job incorrectly, he was fairly impolite and told us it was our fault

Scs is running 2 operations at the…
Scs is running 2 operations at the moment. Same furniture with different names. Went to one store which has refit. Fantastic option of coverings for their selection. Our closest store not so many options. Bought from local store but asking for covering from new refit store . Still waiting for answer !!!!!!! Staff at both stores great help and very professional. If we can't get the covering contemplating cancelling the order . Which would be a great shame after the help we have had. Great range good service

If I could score less I would.
If I could score less I would. Never received an order confirmation despite being told id receive an email within the next hour, tried to ring customer services over the next couple of days to be met with '101 minute' queues. Requested a call back, never received it. Emailed CS, never emailed back. Now I'm 5 days past the estimated delivery date and spent the past 3 and a half hours on the phone in a queue (requested a call back again to no avail).
Currently still sat in the queue.
We were originally told in store that the estimated delivery date would be 25th November and it would 'definitely be before Christmas'. Our new estimated date into the distribution centre is 20/12/24 so I'm very sceptical about getting them for Christmas day.
Communication has been appalling from customer services.

I can see on the notes on your account that this has now been emailed over to you and printed off, and your furniture is currently estimated to arrive to our distribution centre on the 20th December. As soon as we have a confirmed arrival date to the DC we will be in touch to let you know of an update.

Mixed feelings …
The staff in SCS Huddersfield were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and according to my husband, who accepted delivery, the delivery staff were fab. My new sofa is wonderful, so comfy. However the behind the scenes procedures are shambolic, it is incredibly difficult to speak to anyone on the phone and I was told my request to change delivery date had been agreed, only to receive an email the night before the original date to say it was still coming which involved a great deal of last minute stress and rearrangement of other plans to ensure someone was home. Therefore I give a 3 as very mixed experiences!

Huddersfield store
Huddersfield store. Steve was very friendly and helpful not pushy at all.
Delivery was with in two weeks and mark and Liam were brilliant even helped me decide as a corner sofa which was the best way to have it in my room. Couldn’t have asked for two better people to deliver my superb sofa 😃

We are very happy with our new sofas
We are very happy with our new sofas . The delivery drivers Glyn and Tom were polite, efficient and took away all the packaging .
They kept us informed of delivery time and ensured we were happy with everything before leaving and even gave us advice on caring for our new sofas .

Everything from start to finish was excellent. The sales people, customer service (I needed to change the delivery date) The delivery team Glyn and Tom were amazing friendly yet professional. The delivery updates were great and accurate. I would recommend to anyone without reservation.
