A really helpful assistant, never felt pressured at any point, she showed a very good knowledge of the furniture in the store. Lots of choice for the type of settees we were looking for. A good experience, I usually walk out from shops if I'm pounced on but did not feel in any way awkward. Excellent service.

I need to note the actual delivery guys get 5 starts! They were great. Good communication, polite, tidy, respectful and efficient. I can't fault them. The shop staff too, very helpful and professional.

My rating reflects a couple of things. Firstly, I did not receive a payment link, I had a text requesting payment be made 72 hour prior to delivery, no link to pay. I looked online created an account, no way to pay, I called customer services and I had over 100 mins to wait to pay.

Secondly, the lack of pre delivery information - no payment link, hundreds of minutes waiting time to speak to someone, no online payment options, no online chat function to answer even basic questions. I was informed I would be in receipt of delivery on Monday, I checked online, order status it was delivery booked. I organised collection of my old sofa on Sunday so I was prepared for its arrival. Monday arrived, I heard nothing, I called customer services 226min waiting time, selected the call back option. When they eventually called me back, the next day I was informed the sofa had only just arrived at the depot. The sofa was then not delivered until Friday. It was needless to say an uncomfortable week.

Exelent crew delivery and assembly from Mike and Charlie plus good information regarding delivery. Payment was not good 226 minutes waiting time to pay by phone abandoned and went to store it was quicker.
SCS put more people on the phone for payments.

I cant reccomend Dawn at SCS enough. We went in before christmas to order a sofa and she was so helpful and knowlegeable and made speccing our new sofas so effortless. Unfortunatly we couldnt commit at the time and returned last week. We again spoke to Dawn and again her service was top class. We made an effort to specifically speak to her due to the effort she had put in last time. On top of that i cant reccomend the other staff enough either all very very friendly and helpful, highly reccomend SCS Newport.

Ordering was really supportive and they rolled back the price to the original price I had seen a few days prior (£300 less). Delivery was smooth and professional even with such a heavy lump of sofa that we ordered. Great delivery men who were very cheerful. I enjoyed speaking with Dai and Scott. Building upto delivery day I had clear communication and was able to change the allocated date due to being on holiday.

The bits that pet ScS down slightly are post sale in store absolutely no communication at alll until a text saying pay the balance your sofas being delivered in 4days... Impossible to get through to the call centre and emails are never replied to. I was also due to be sent a payment receipt via text and email and nothing received.

We were allowed to view the furniture at our leisure,and when asked the staff were very helpful

Initial purchase was brilliant nice easy experience and very informative from staff from receiving settee and chair went down hill rapidly chair wasn’t electric same as settee sent chair back received new 1 being told the fabric would be the same shade as settee not the case whilst using the recliner of the chair the bad of it has twisted so uneven when you sit on there next settee has power to the recliner but also has power ports for you phone now have stopped working within the 12 month warranty so assuming the settee has insurance it would be covered I was wrong the insurance which was not explained to me on purchase day I was only paying for the fabric not the mechanical system .
Currently dealing with insurance on an issue of the fabric ripping which there are more than welcome to cover but now scs are telling me to pay and excess of 75 to see the other fault of my settee yet I had spent over 3k less that 15 months ago there happy to take your money yet take no responsibility for faulty product.
Just top it off u can only email about a complaint can’t speak to someone

Thanks scs with a quick response on a review website yet can’t get back to you within 2 weeks when you have a real complaint only email or unless u want to wait 107 minutes on the phone

Visited the Spytty store and after looking around and narrowing the choice down to 3 suites one of the salesman Damian guided use through the choices of materials , colours and different features available on the suites with his help and advice we decided on which one to purchase - the whole experience was very relaxed and we never felt pressured to buy any of the suites (unlike some other stores we had visited) which was mostly down to Damain answering all of our questions. The store is very well laid out with a massive choice of suites and has really benefitted from the upgrade it recently had.

Ordered our sofa in September was promised a delivery before Christmas that never happened. Had a phone call to say we would have £200 knocked off and free delivery as a good will gesture and where promised another delivery by the end of December that again never happened. Finally had our sofa delivered last week after going weeks without one . Phoned up to see what was happening with the £200 off the bill and was fobbed off saying they have no record of it. This is the 3rd sofa we have purchased from scs and it’s safe to say we won’t be using again.

I honestly don't know where to start, other than to say we ordered our sofa on 31st August 2024 & eventually after endless phonecalls, emails & empty promises we cancelled our order on 9th January 2025 because we were sick of having our hopes continuously dashed. We will never recommend SCS & absolutely will not be buying anything from them ever again.

Bought a beautiful leather reclining sofa back at the end of October and it arrived today. Apart from the long wait for delivery we have only positive feedback to give. The quality is amazing and is solidly built. We were kept well informed of its delivery progress and it was delivered by two very professional delivery men Charlie and Huw. It took them no time at all to set the sofa up and all packaging was taken away. They made it look so easy.
