My Son accompanied me to your Stockport Store. On entering we were greeted very well and as I knew exactly which item I was hoping to purchase after informing the Salesman he immediately took us to the area it was in then very courteously said " I'll leave you for a little while but I will come back and see how you are getting along". He returned as promised and immediately I felt what a wonderful reception and how informative. I purchased a footstool and was given all the relevant info eg: delivery and what to expect. I am an 85 year old lady and would like to say 'thank you' to the member of staff involved but unfortunately I didn't get his name. A very pleasant visit.

On our first visit to the store in May we were warmly met by Mr Ravinder S, he was very helpful. After making our choice an email was sent with a quote. We returned to the store on 26th where we made our purchase, again we found Mr Ravinder S very helpful, also chatted with some of the other staff who were very pleasant.

Delivery service

Fantastic! Sharon was so helpful when we visited with Dad. He was using a wheelchair but she never patronised him or treated him as elderly. We were given lots of guidance, she helped with choice of fabrics. Nothing was too much trouble. On our second visit she remembered us and which sofa we’d been interested in. My husband and family will definitely be visiting the store when we need a new sofa

The service was excellent and the assistance wee received was excellent from start to finish the assistant was very polite and knowledgeable she talked us through the whole process making it easy for us a great service no complaints 10 out of 10 thanks Jamie

Firstly, can I say the store was excellent when I ordered my sofa, no complaints there. Secondly, the delivery of my new sofa went very smoothly, I have no complaints and the delivery drivers were excellent. However, the response from head office has been less than satisfactory. The wrong product was delivered, I ordered a chaise longue with storage and the one delivered does not have it. It has been extremely difficult to get through to head office to resolve this issue. I spent most of Friday 8 May on the phone or trying to get through, when I did get through, I was initially told I could have £100 refunded. However, I asked for the price of the chaise longue with and without storage to be compared, I was then told that the difference was £180. I have been offered this amount. I asked if further compensation for the inconvenience and amount of time taken to resolve this on the phone was available, especially, as I am also saving ScS a lot of money on collection, manufacturing and re-delivery of the correct product. I would have thought they could have offered me some further recompense. This has not been the case. I am very unhappy with the whole approach by the staff at the head office.

The showroom was clean, airy and well presented. We were greeted by a member of staff who introduced herself (Sharon) and explained about the ticket colours, product information that would be helpful and details regarding sale items. She then invited us to browse and find her if we required assistance. A short time later she came and offered us refreshments. We had a number of questions she was very knowledgeable and able to respond to them all and we were happy to make a choice and place an order, confident we had the best suite for our needs.

We visited the stockport store. We were greeted from a far, been told to watch the step as one of us were in a wheel chair. Wayne then came over and asked if we needed anything, we mentioned the Barete sofa bed, he took us straight to it, saying it was the best on the market. We looked, checked, asked for a tape measure which Wayne duly delivered. Disappointed we had to pay more for a different colour, and no free cushions. Overall a very good visit, we purchased the 3 seater Barete Sofa-bed, now waiting delivery.

We walked in just to look!! We were left alone without any pressure for just long enough to have a good look at the suite we liked. Then Wayne came over and asked were we ok. He was very polite and we asked him questions, he was very knowledgeable and helpful and we ended up buying the suite we were looking at
