Went in store to look for a sofa. We had specific dimensions and specifications for the sofa due to limited space. We were shown around by Gaz who was incredibly helpful. We went back the next day after confirming measurements and he instantly remembered us. Credit to the store.

DO NOT ORDER FROM SCS. We ordered our sofa at the start of October, paid the deposit and were given an estimated arrival date to the retailer on 15/11/24. We were told it could be up to 4 weeks from this date - it's now a month later and we've received no updates or correspondence from ScS. I've rung twice and they told me they don't know where it is and cannot provide a delivery date. This is unacceptable - we were promised delivery before Christmas (this was a major factor in our decision - we would have gone elsewhere otherwise) and unless they deliver it next week this is unlikely. Terrible customer service and we're very unhappy customers.
UPDATE: We were told we would get a call back today with information, we've still not heard anything. All of our emails and contact forms have also been ignored with no response. Please can someone contact us ASAP?
2ND UPDATE: ScS have lied in their response that it is due in 17/12/24 as we've just had an email stating it will not be delivered until the end of January. This is absolutely ridiculous and so unfair. DO NOT ORDER FROM SCS!

We ordered our sofa at the beginning of November and were told that it would arrive in the warehouse on 21st November. This date was given to us in store, checked by the store manager and printed on our invoice. On 22nd November I called to see if I could arrange a delivery date and was told the sofa would actually only arrived in the warehouse on 20th December. When I asked the member of staff to check the invoice they had on record it did indeed say that the sofa would be in the warehouse on 21st November. I was told this was an error and that it should never have been agreed (even though it was checked by the salesperson and the store manager on the day we ordered). I asked if there was any solution they could offer as I had someone coming to collect the sofa soon and I was told ‘just don’t get rid of your sofa, I can’t change the date all I can do is give you a refund and cancel your order’.
There was little apology or compensation offered.

Friendly, helpful staff (Dale) with a good range of sofas to choose from, the free delivery was a nice touch as my daughter picked a sofa slightly pricier than I’s intended.
The delivery by Peter and Craig was quick and easy, probably took then longer getting to the flat as it’s on the tenth floor.

On time delivery.
Cheerful pleasant crew.
Removed all packaging.

We just went supposedly to just look around. Vilma greeted us with a big smile and with Ryan’s help, we got what we wanted. Ryan and Vilma were very nice and helpful. Thank you to both of you.

Fab service from SCS, from store to delivery! Really impressed so wanted to share! I went in to store undecided on what I wanted, spent ages there and must have driven them mad but the staff were so helpful and patient! Went through tons of options, made me a brew and helped find what I wanted, in budget! Thanks again Lisa and team at Wigan! My little girl even came away with a Disney mug!

Communication has been great throughout, especially around delivery, being able to track and see the van. I’ve just taken delivery today from two lovely guys, Mark and Dean. They took so much care delivering, even covering my floor and setting my sofa up. They were very friendly, chatting away and even cleared up after themselves!

Took my mum today for new couch she wasn't sure what she wanted but when we explained to Gary what she needed he took us to the perfect couch, Gary was very helpful, friendly and really nice guy to deal with, will definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for help choosing the right furniture, Thanks Gary for everything.

We went in and spoke to Amy a few days ago. We described the kind of thing we were looking for and she took us straight to a sofa that we instantly fell in love with and was perfect for us. She answered all of our questions and didn’t make us feel pressured or obligated to make a decision there and then. We went back in today to buy the sofa and Kerry and Amy made it such a stress free and exciting experience! Thank you!
