The shed was initially due on 15th July 2026 and was finally delivered on the 7th September 2026.
The actual shed looks like has been made up from several old sheds

We can see from our records that your delivery was originally expected in July and was subsequently rearranged for 27th August. We appreciate that the shed was not ultimately delivered until 7th September, and we apologise for the further delay beyond the date that had been confirmed to you.
We’re also concerned to read your comments regarding the condition and appearance of the shed. Our sheds are manufactured from new materials, so we would certainly like the opportunity to investigate this further and understand exactly what you have received.

I was so excited to get a green house…
I was so excited to get a green house and start growing my own vegetables,my greenhouse is up in the garden,but the glass didn't fit,ive contacted company many times for the past 3 months,they keep asking about photos of the problems and measurements, which I have provided many times,with no solution, iam v frustrated with all of this and very dissatisfied with the this purchase.
Basically its a nice expensive ornament in my garden,but doesn't fit the purpose as glass panels aren't fitting.

We’re very sorry for the frustration this has caused and completely understand how disappointing it must be to have your greenhouse assembled but not yet be able to use it as intended.
We have supplied replacement components following the issues reported, including replacement gable glazing, and we now need to establish why the replacement glass is still not fitting.
Our Customer Service team contacted you this morning requesting photographs showing the measurements of both the replacement glass and the gable opening. Once we receive these, we can review them with our technical team and advise you on the correct next step.
We’re sorry this has taken longer than it should to resolve and appreciate your patience while we work with you to get to the bottom of the issue.
We have built five sheds.....
We have built five sheds - different sizes, one was a potting shed - over the last 20 years. We purchased a Shires Dutch barn style in 6ft x 4ft size for our new and smaller garden. The fact that we are still married is a surprise as we were nearly heading for the divorce courts. This shed tested us to the limits. Nothing fitted, we had to request a new window panel as the first one was completely the wrong size and the shiplap lines didn't match up. Guess what - the one that replaced it was also wrong. OK, we decided to soldier on as we needed to put away our gardening stuff. We found the panels were weak, so put lots more long screws in to hold it all together better. We realised the whole structure swayed a bit, so for added strength we actually fitted some noggins onto the fence that ran alongside the shed, and screwed the whole thing to the very strong fence. The shed looks quite nice and has been thoroughly soaked in wood preservative and some coloured wood stain, but we don't think it will last very long, given that the wood is all very thin. The quality is appalling. The delivery was OK, the customer service was sort of OK, but the price for what we consider an inferior product, not OK. If it wasn't for the fact that we needed somewhere to put our gardening tools quickly, we would have returned it. We will not purchase from Shire again.

We’re sorry to read how frustrating you found the assembly of your building.
We appreciate there was an issue with the original window panel following delivery on 3rd July, and we apologise for the inconvenience this caused. When this was reported to us, our team arranged for a replacement panel and glazing to be sent, followed by the additional window frame once it was confirmed this was still required.
We’re disappointed to hear that you remained unhappy with the building after receiving the replacement parts. We would always encourage customers to contact us if something does not appear correct during assembly, particularly before making alterations or adding additional fixings, so that our technical team can review the installation and advise accordingly.
We’re pleased to hear that the finished building looks nice, although we’re sorry that your overall experience has left you disappointed.

Delivery on expected date, and helpful delivery driver.
Instructions clear, not too difficult to assemble.
A small missing part was sent out on request.

It`s dreadful that I can`t speak to anyone directto sort out the confusion about the shed base I`m preparing. Endless email have passed and tiome wasted, when a single simple phonme call would have done the trick. I`m frustrated and annoyed

We’re sorry for the frustration this has caused. We completely understand your point that the confusion surrounding the base requirements could have been resolved much more easily with a direct conversation.
We also apologise that some of the information provided regarding the measurements was unclear, which has resulted in unnecessary back and forth when you were simply trying to make sure your existing base was suitable before installation.
We have now reviewed the requirements again with our assemblies team so that we can provide clear and accurate guidance on the base and the additional support required for the floor joins.
Thank you for your patience while we’ve worked through this with you, and we’re sorry that the process has been more difficult than it needed to be.
Great after sales service
I'm really pleased with my Arbour,it was delivered on time,with great instructions. So after treating the parts with wood preserver, and 2 coats of paint, I started to put it together, all went well till the facia boards.They were to short,but were replaced straight away. Thank you

Shambles from start to finish
Shambles from start to finish.
Ordered, said they’ll arrange delivery within 4 weeks, waited until the very last day to arrange delivery said it would be a week, the day of arranged delivery nothing comes so I have to phone up and check, turns out “it wasn’t loaded onto the delivery vehicle” oh well things happen. Exact same thing happens the following week with no correspondence. Had to phone and check, they then schedule the following week, and lo and behold it’s further delayed. Eventually comes with bare patches on the wood where whatever stain or coating has been missed when applying.
In summary.
Poor quality
Poor delivery service
Poor customer service
Avoid

We’re very sorry for the experience you had with your order. Having your delivery rearranged several times is understandably frustrating, particularly when you had to contact us yourself for updates on some occasions.
Unfortunately, there were a number of separate issues affecting your delivery, including a routing issue, a vehicle problem and, on the final occasion, the delivery driver breaking down while on route. While some of these circumstances were unforeseen, we appreciate that from your perspective the result was repeated delays and inconvenience.
We’re also sorry to hear your comments regarding the finish of the building. If there are areas you believe to be defective rather than simply requiring the treatment specified for the product, our Customer Service team would be happy to review photographs and assist further.
Please accept our apologies that your experience did not meet the standard we aim to provide.

If I could give zero thats what you'd get ,I chose a delivery date for 1st September your supposed to keep customers updated with emails and phone calls you didn't bother some random bloke knocked on my door Saturday 29th and said shire sheds and left it on the side of the road.

We’re sorry for the frustration caused by your delivery. You are correct that your order had been confirmed for 1st September, and we appreciate that having it arrive unexpectedly on 29th August without prior notification was not the service you were expecting.
Although confirmation of the original delivery date had been sent, we should also have made you aware if that date was going to change. We apologise that this did not happen and for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected delivery.
Your feedback has been noted and will be raised with our Transport Team so we can understand why the delivery took place earlier than the confirmed date without you being advised.

Shed is ok quality and instructions are…
Shed is ok quality and instructions are good. Previously had tiger shed and feel they are better built. Only issue I had was delayed delivery due to production issues.
Probably would not buy from Shire again as better quality from other companies for the same money.

Following your review, we have checked your order again and can confirm that the delivery is currently still scheduled for 22nd September. We appreciate this is later than originally expected and apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Log Store - A few niggles and suggestions
A few niggles and suggestions about the log store.
1. The vertical panels were slightly too long, so they protruded above the top of the horizontal lengths. The cover strips would not have sat flat. I had to saw off 1-4mm from each.
2. The nails for the roofing felt were too short. They kept popping out. I used screws instead of nails to fasten the cover strips and keep the felt in place. It also helped to fit the felt to the top on the garage floor before fitting the top to the box.
3. I found a set of 4 right-angle clamps very useful for holding the four sides in place before fixing them together and to the floor.
4. Our log box will be kept on the patio. I bought a set of 8 rubber feet to avoid the base getting waterlogged when it rains.

Not what I expected!
Ordered garden shed 30th June and did not receive it until 28th August.
My delivery was delayed due to a manufacturing issue which I could understand. I rescheduled the delivery with the customer service team for 3 days later, no show. It took for me to contact the customer service team to be told I would get a call back, which I didn’t. After my second call I was advised there was an error with the migration (change of the delivery date) onto the couriers system. If there was any issue with the delivery it should have been communicated not left for me to chase up.
The quality of the garden shed is okay, there are a few areas where the wood has bowed. But after the very long wait and the issues with the delivery, I was not prepared to return it.

I completely understand, and I’m really sorry for the delays and changes you’ve had with the delivery of your order.
I can confirm that the order has now been cancelled at our end, so no further delivery will be attempted.
As the order was placed and paid for through Screwfix, the refund will need to be processed by them directly. If you contact Screwfix, they’ll be able to arrange this for you.
Apologies again for all the inconvenience caused.

A very nice looking Gazebo. Had one broken glass pane out of 18 which was replaced very quickly.
