not comfortable, no doors, vertical stairs. good city area. bad service

We booked that place based on agent recommendation, city area, pictures and was disappointed. Door to flat is on the 2nd floor, vertical stairs. inside vertical stair. flat is on 3 floors, 1st is small and smell kitchen, triangle, mouses. stair to bedrooms in 2nd and 3rd floors without doors with small beds. dresser is on the 3rd floor. no wi-fi, old style TV, poor equipment in kitchen. we asked to replace house immediatelly, after 3 days were moved to slightly better apartment has another diadvantages. after 2 days we informed company that we cancel our booking and go to hotel. despite contract nobody give maney back. only good is area.

We have received more complaints about this apartment. The Prinsengracht canal house has been removed from our portfolio. We do apologize for that bad experience.

One of our colleague has met with you in the apartment to find alternative accommodation. During that meeting you have been warned for smoking marihuana in the apartment which is not allowed.

The alternative apartment offered was located in the Vondelpark. It has been made very clear it was a non smoking apartment. Despite his warning we found out that you continued smoking marihuana in the apartment. Besides that we also got multiple complaints from other guests. Your husband was unwilling to listen to our employees, who explained that this behavior could lead to losing your deposit and having to leave the apartment.

Thank you for your review.

The apartment you have stayed in does have a good internet connection. We have never received any complaints about it until your review. However, occasionally it can occur that the internet provider has technical problems and the connection is down temporarily. In such cases our technical service usually checks this with the internet provider, and we provide a free-of-charge internet stick for the guest as an alternative. However, in your case we were not aware of this internet problem until you had already checked out. We apologize for the caused inconvenience and hope you will stay with us again in the future.

Just OK

1. Apartment was in 2nd floor and no elevator? - Was not informed while booking
2. Condition of apartment could have been better as the bathroom-toilet was very congested
3. The washing machine in the apartment was in Bad condition not working and it swallowed 10 Euros before could start working, the instructions given to use the washing machine did not help.
4. I was promised the credit back of 8 Euros as Washing machine did not work and it took our money, but till date it has not been refunded on my credit card.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us why our service failed to meet your expectations. We understand your frustration, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced.

Please note that in Holland it is very unusual to find an elevator in buildings up to 4 stories high. However it is indeed a good suggestion to mention it at our website which has been done so future guests are informed before arriving.

City Delight is one of our smallest studio’s and while designing the layout the decision to create a bigger living area than bathroom/ toilet was made. The building is very old and the water pressure is low at the top floors. Unfortunately that is an issue with old apartments.

The washing machine has been removed and replaced by a free new one.

We have not been able to reach you concerning the refund. We need your card details. After a booking has been paid all the credit card details are deleted.

It is our goal to restore your confidence in our company by solving this problem please contact us directly and we will refund it right away.

Thank you again, for your honest feedback. We hope to have the pleasure of seeing you again in one of our apartmens in the future.
