So impressed. My son needed two car doors, we did a Google search and found Silverlake. Matt was very honest, they had the right doors but they had some marks which he told me about and quickly sent over photos. They were a great price including delivery and when they arrived they looked even better than we expected (and thankfully in the right colour). On top of that, I subsequently needed hinges, which they didn't have and Matt kindly gave me the model/code details which can be such a pain to get right when looking online for parts. I highly recommend this company for their honest, efficient and value for money service.

Very happy with my purchase, a missing parcel shelf from a car I've just bought. Prompt delivery and extra marks to the delivery driver who let me quickly check that it fitted when he arrived.

Bought a car via their on line auction. Read all the t&Cs and fees etc. Car specifically marked as no vat and with a fixed price fee as local authority sale. Yes, you guessed it, vat on yet more fees, no fixed charge, plus vat on that as well. So many excuses on the phone, it's not us, it's the auction provider etc etc. The fees and charges are so bewilderingly complex and hidden in various places, and the auction listing deliberately vague, so even after hours of thinking I'd read it all, still hundreds of pounds of extra fees. Absolutely disgraceful and a deliberate attempt to defraud by deception.

Rung up silver lake garage to take away a car for scrap, they didnt ask for bank details, they took the car and never paid me, currently trying to sort things out

Got a quote online to scrap vehicle. They asked no questions they then renaged this later becouse essentually the vehicle wasnt in perfect condition and excellent running order. There was a fault with the engine which is why I was scapping. So far tried them twice in recent months and in both cases they offered a price then renaged on the offer with a lame excuse, last time it was that I took to long to accept (3 days). dont trust the offer. From experiance you'll never receive it.

I spoke to this company on 3 occasions over a 24hr period and was assured that the part I required was available, also first thing that morning. I traveled some 78miles from Oxford, wasting my day also a load of petrol.

On arrival I was told that the car in question had been crushed that morning, we arrived at 11.10.
A badly organised company Beware!!

I was looking for a door for my car and I went through their website. Enter my REG number. There was a door suggested, hence I ordered the part and paid 50 pound shipping. It came after a week and the door was shorter and it doesn’t fit and they took 50 pounds shipping charges from me, but when I talked about this issue with their customer team, they said that it’s not their problem because the parts showing after putting your REG number is just for guidance. Hence I need to pay another 50 pounds for return this is horrible. I mean this is not acceptable.

I bought some part worn tyres for my Ford BMax. Excellent tread on them. I was served efficiently and politely and truly positive experience

Needed to scrap my mother-in-laws car. Silverlake easily gave the best quote. The on-line contact process was quick and easy. They arrived early in the day of collection. Received payment the next day as promised. I would not hesitate in recommending them to friends and family.

Called in after a passenger side door mirror for a ford focus the lady on the phone very helpful arranged for me to collect which I did all fitted and working perfectly thanks for a good service

I wanted to thank the delivery driver Mark B for delivering the gearbox we had ordered to the garage ( half a mile away) after originally delivering to our house-I would have found it hard to lift. Hoping the gearbox is good but the price was reasonable and delivery prompt, considering it came from Southampton to Kent in dodgy weather!

Used the self service lot to get a coolant pipe I couldn't find online. Bargain at £14.

Ordered a back parcel shelf for my Peugeot couple of weeks ago from Silverlake .
Firstly they came in cheapest quote & secondly very speedy delivery & well packaged .
Good communication throughout.
Only blip was Parcelforce who couldn’t be bothered to look for number 30 so dropped it at number 29 which is no where near me so I had no idea where it was . Silverlake as onto Parcelforce and got it resolved hence 5 stars .

I got a headlamp unit for my Ford Transit Custom. 4 months later, it failed the MOT as a piece of plastic was missing. SilverLake showed me a picture of the unit and implied I broke it or it broke itself whilst under the bonnet. I replaced it immediately as I was excited, and I know 100% I was sold an illegal part. I should have checked the item thoroughly, yet I did not realise an insignificant piece of plastic would cause an MOT fail. Surely, SilverLake knows, and they got lucky as they successfully scammed me.

Drove all the way from Bristol to pick up a front bumper cover described as no damage and no scratches only to get there and find it was in worse condition than the crash damaged one I'd taken off. Woeful service tbh.

Hannah was extremely helpful from start to finish, very responsive and made the whole process of scrapping my car very easy. Payment was made promptly, and the CoD was also issued straight away. The whole process was very easy, thank you!

The repairer had already accepted my car and was waiting for it to be transferred, yet Silverlake kept delaying and making excuses about not being able to reach them.
The repairer confirmed they hadn’t received any contact.

Their customer support agent, Ryan, was completely unhelpful and refused to escalate the issue, saying no managers were available. The whole experience has been frustrating, disorganised, and unprofessional — the delay is entirely on Silverlake’s side.

Was looking for a part for my car. They had it!! Fast service, part in full working order.
Found them through Breakerlink.
Brilliant.

Poor poor treatment of their staff.
Even sacking staff for no valid reason! It’s a shambles, totally disgusting.
Do not get involved with this poor excuse of a garage
