I purchased a hub from these people that was very expensive, the dust cover was rotten, I new this, however when it arrived the disc retaining bolt was rounded an seized, drilled out then found the EPB was seized in its housing.
I emailed them they said it was cheap due to this and the pictures would have indicated this ???? How can you remove a cover to look inside from a photo.
Anyhow after no word back after this and having to try to fix this one the EPB snapped and rendered the whole thing useless. Later told I could return it for a refund. Too late . Bad Experiences and poor customer after sales have left me out of pocket and furious

I Won a Car Though Asm auction site, and the car was owned by Silverlake in Hampshire. The Car was Ford Fiesta and on description was Start and Drive, it was hit light in the front but on the pictures was like it was hit very very light with nothing broke on the facelift. So when i went there after driving 3 hours, They said i must pay first to look at the car i won, so i paid. When they brought the car out, i checked the car and the Radiator was damaged was leaking in 2 sides, Coolant bottle water was completely empty. Now, i know that i shoud have viewed the car before i bit, i get that, and yes thats a mistake by my side but what i realized from them is they trying to hide things like this damage. They could write down on Auction Advert description that the Radiator was damaged so makes people know what they will expect and measure the costs of repairs. After i noticed the extra problems that it wasnt mentioned on description then all i wanted is refund and leave the car and they was trying to force me to take. They was keep saying me that because i have already paid, i cant take my money back. After 1 hour of discussion, they accepted to give my money back. Totally spent 5 hours of time getting bullied and not giving my money back. 2 ladies in the front window were very rude as well. They also Suspended my account!!!! Would never reccomend to anyone to buy from them Silverlake Hampshire!!!!

Did not pick up vehicle on day booked in, 2 days later to collect then said they had not received details sent them by email 3 times. In the end I had to install whatsapp just to send them the details and then no further response

Phoned Silverlake for an alloy wheel for my sons car on Tuesday the 2 people I spoke to were very very helpful especially Jamie Gregory. The wheel arrived at 8.30am (Thurs) this morning. Excellent service. If I need any parts in the future I will use this company again and recommend them to other people.

I found this Co via a request for 2nd hand parts for my Subaru imprezza thru Ist Choice website. Silverlake came back super quick to say they had the parts I needed. I’ve got to be honest here, I was pretty wary having read the recent reviews but I found them really helpful. Daryl came back to me immediately with a quote for the parts I needed after submitting my car registration and parts needed via Ist Choice. The parts were delivered just as promised within only a few days and better still, fitted my vehicle and saved me over £700!! on new parts for a car that’s over 15yrs old. I found them to be honest and helpful and am extremely grateful to find the parts I needed as I’d checked elsewhere on ebay etc for ages and had no luck and nearly ordered the new part as I was desperate for the fan and heater to work again with winter coming but having failed it’s MOT and needing more ££ spent already I was struggling to pay it or justify it on a car that old. Very positive experience and would definitely use them again. Big thank you Daryl.

My experience with silverlake was very disappointing, first they took 3 times 60 £ from my account for a payment that was supposed to be 60£ per year. After I paid the subscription and they took 3 times the money they were supposed to the website crushed and even now it’s still not working. The staff it’s very rude and unprofessional so I give up.

Absolutely disgraceful conduct.
One of my customers vehicles taken to this scrapyard after she profusely instructed insurance company to return vehicle to her address.
Silverlake removed and disposed of all her company items including dog cages, collars, leads and company magnetic signage. Stickers on outside of vehicle also removed without consent.

Forklift truck was used to move vehicle around their yard which has damaged a brand new exhaust system and caused unrepairable damage to the underside of the vehicle.
Silverlake not the slightest bit bothered and unwilling to accept responsibility.
Lawsuit is being filed and Silverlake to pay repairs for damage and to pay compensation.
0/10 avoid this company at all costs

Very disappointed. Suppose to be one of the biggest scrapyards in Hampshire and one of the UK’s biggest an they can’t even produce a ‘working’ website. Listing cars they no longer have. Suppose to be running a multimillion pound company and can’t even provide its customers with a working reliable website that allows you to see what’s in stock at any one time and allow customers to call up and ask to purchase from the full service and self service section. Absolutely appalling. Really needs to get the website sorted ASAP. This is the modern day an age and running an absolute sh@£&6t show. Not happy. Sort it out silverlake.

Wow,wow wow!!!! What a company. Customer service is EXCELLENT! My granddaughter desperately needed an alloy wheel due to an accident and Silverlake garages had one at a VERY reasonable price including delivery. Ordered yesterday and arrived this morning. What a service. This excellent service means she can get back to work and not lose any more money. Well done Silverlake garage I'll be sure to highly recommend you.

Lots of mention of 'The Team' from this organisation, but it is certainly not the A team.

Silverlake made me an offer for my vehicle, which I accepted.

Pick up had to await my receipt of a new V5 as I retained my personal number plate. On receipt of the
amended V5 I contacted Silverdale on two occasions recently. Their automated system must be the one in use by the Vatican when people 'phone asking to speak to the Pope. You are in a queue. No mention of where in the queue. Use our facility to book a call-back, maintaining your place in the queue. Tried this twice, still waiting for the Pope to call. If you want to
avoid frustration and stress when disposing of your vehicle, steer clear of Silverlake.

Great experience in scrapping my Ford B-Max (with a dud engine). Quick, efficient initial response, excellent communication before, great pick-up service from a friendly & helpful Mark, and swift payment after. Good work!
