It is so nice to deal with a professional company that puts customer care first.
Ordered the wrong part and return was delayed. But Molly & Nathan were brilliant and sorted it all out a refunded quickly.
Great company.

I purchased a gear box that supposedly had 52k miles. Delivery straight to repair garage and fitted into my car along side new clutch new duel mass flywheel and all the bells and whistles at a cost of £1300. The gear box is dead layshaft bearing is screaming and the gear box is not fit for purpose. Im £1300 out of pocket and my car is still not driveable. Im worried its going to ruin my new clutch and to top it off I've waited 3 days and Charles trent have still not dealt with the issue still not sent a new gear box. Im a single parent with 4 kids and I used all my savings on this repair but me and my children are left with no car and no resolution off Charles trent. Order-16-15001-96733. They gave me a fake number at first to communicate off 2 days have passed and they are not even getting back to me or answering my messages. I feel like giving up

Well what can i say, ordered a part a week ago, phoned first got told order now and dispatched same day see it tomorrow, PERFECT or so i thought, did not get sent till the following day, delivery now Wednesday, ok tracking from DHL says 6.30 -7.30 pm to deliver to a business address, so i stay on late tracking says driver on his way to drop 1 you are 23 then boom its delivered but it hasn't been delivered stayed on late for no reason, parcel cant be found just like the staff at charles Trent, no one answers the phone when they did at 10 minutes to close the manager has gone so far 7 calls been cut off waiting in a que to long 5 requests for a call back, no replies to my ebay messages, just snatch your money and run, I would avoid at all costs

Defiantly do your homework and read Google review and trust pilot reviews not good at all. Ordered a gearbox for next day delivery however the part has been delivered else where and can't get me it so they order another part with less mileage then the one I wanted and same again next day delivery and no sign. The staff has no communication with each other and how do you lose a part twice

Avoid this company.....I recently bought a part from them and despite ensuring the part was correct when it came it was missing an essential fitting and not the full part for replacement......I'm baffled how they could even think is okay to do this.

Any reputable business would not send out parts like this

I ordered an air conditioning compressor, it arrived with the wiring cut off and I had to repair it myself. Not the great used parts service they promote themselves to be. I needed this part ASAP. Whilst ordering the website had the usual purchase within a timeframe (30 mins left) for despatch today. I placed the order and paid the upgraded next day delivery. The parcel did not arrive the next day and I had to wait an additional day. I requested a refund for the upgrade in delivery time and it was declined! Apparently I hadn’t ordered by 2:00 PM!
Had there not been a countdown timer, I wouldn’t have paid for the upgrade.

Better options available on a well know auction site!!!

Absolute waste of time and money. They sent me completely incompatible car parts that do not fit my vehicle at all. To make matters worse, when I tried to contact them to arrange a return, they completely ignored my messages. Avoid at all costs!

Bought a rear climate control digital panel for an L405 Range Rover. Part was exactly as described, in perfect condition and works perfectly. A big saving over a brand new part. Arrived really quickly, well priced and reasonable postage cost. Overall a really positive experience.

I would not recommend Charles Trent Ltd based on my recent experience.
I purchased an expensive gearbox from them, but it arrived in an unacceptable condition. Part of the gearbox was open, and several lever bolts were missing. I recorded a video immediately upon delivery and shared it with their team as evidence. I also contacted them by phone straight away.
Unfortunately, the customer service has been extremely disappointing. I was promised a callback within two hours, but no one contacted me. I called again the following afternoon and was assured I would receive an update by the end of the day, but again there was no response. When I called later that evening, I was left on hold for almost an hour without any resolution. Today, I have continued trying to contact them since the morning, but my calls have either gone unanswered or I have been left waiting on hold.
For a company selling expensive vehicle parts, I expected much better quality control and customer service. It is unacceptable to supply a damaged or incomplete part and then ignore a customer who is trying to resolve the issue.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate it through the appropriate consumer protection channels and pursue my legal rights.
I hope Charles Trent Ltd takes responsibility for this issue and improves both its product quality checks and customer support.

Ordered a rear passenger side bulb holder and light cluster for Skoda Yeti. Original had leaked and corroded. Arrived next working day by courier. Really carefully packaged. Great price. To my surprise included all the bulbs. Fitted and worked. Very happy.

Bought a “Low milage Gearbox” paid premium price what arrived looked old. Paid to have it fitted it failed within four weeks. Charles Trent ltd. Tried many stalling tactics & wanted photos of everything, they spoke with my workshop then demanded a video of a broken gearbox. I’ve now given up as their demands are ridiculous. I will shortly advertise this heap of Charles Trent Scrap on Ebay. Avoid at all costs.

Shocking experience, took my money and never delivered the part! It's a scam site at this point. Kept me on hold for half an hour and cut me off straight away. This place should be investigated!

Purchased £800 Vauxhall engine that turned out to be faulty. This was purchased under Gold Warranty (at additional cost). Completely ignored when trying to rectify (ignored for over one month!). Avoid at all costs, terrible customer service and company.

5 stars for ease of finding replacement CD player + next day delivery + spare CDs included BUT!!! no code provided, which they used to do, and told me "I was on my own". CD player cost £60, getting the code cost £55. CD player without the code is useless.

Found the part I needed for my car with Charles Trent through Ebay. I was a bit hesitant to order as I was in Ireland. I called them up, spoke with Matt, he checked my part against the chassis number and said it was the correct part but he also said that if it didn't work i could return it (obviously I pay the return shipping) Unfortunately that part was not the solution to fixing my issue, returned the part. I was in contact with the very helpful Molly, and had sent her my courier tracking. I was fully refunded within 48 hours. Highly recommend this company.

Horrendous company to deal with. Caused nothing but stress.

Awful customer service, poor staff and frankly not worth the hassle.

Shocking how they can be in business.

Avoid this company like the plague, they sent me the wrong alloy on Monday and 3 days later after getting past all over the shop from them they still have yet to pick the parcel up. Complaint made to ebay and thankfully got my money back through PayPal, an absolute scam and avoid these at all costs!

Well I am so massively impressed by the speed and efficiency off this company ordered Friday 27th feb and it came 2nd off March perfect and the chap who delat with me to was very professional and polite and was a proper decent chap. Well done guys I am pleased and impressed

Website suggests they scrap cars, went through the online form process waiting for a call back. Ended up having to call them repeatedly and then to be told they don't take end of life vehicles. I was trying to use their (nearby) Rugby office, which I was then informed has nobody at it! Website information seems to be way off.

I don't like writing negative reviews, but I was deprived of my money and left with a faulty and useless item, and the seller mocked me when I called.
