Got a quote accepted. Was supposed to be installed after 6 weeks. Now 8 weeks. Just been told a further 2 weeks. We phone and leave messages. No return calls. We email and get no response. Maybe best to rather take another company. Especially after reading the reviews.

All I can say fantastic service from start to finish and has transformed my property

Arranged for someone to come round and measure up. They never came and never responded to my call. I’ll try a different company that has better service.

Skandoor advertised their garage doors in our local paper. We rang and they sent a surveyer to measure up and price. Excellent. Got a verbal quote. We asked to proceed. Heard nothing for weeks. We rang, they said they'd email official quote - nothing. A month later rang again, same storey. We've emailed them via their website - nothing! Why do they bother advertising? Waste of money and a flagrant waste of our time. Are they going bust? Obviously we won't use them now which such excessively poor customer service.

This score is for the two fitters who have just left and for the product. If I had to award anything for the managment it would be 1, but only because I have to.
The fitters were brilliant and arrived when expected and left at about 16:30, having done a great job in really nasty weather (everything except snow), cleaned up and made good. The door looks excellent and fits and works perfectly.
The management studiously avoided responding to any of the 18 phone calls + messages, website messages, text messages, emails and one visit to their offices. Then and only then did I get an anonymous email with an installation date. A dreadful way to run a company and to treat customers, and so easy to fix by improving communication.
Now you know what to expect, the choice is yours - be treated like the proverbial mushroom but get a brilliant product at a competitive price.

extremely poor customer service
Having phoned three times for replacement remote control to operate garage door and been promised it's in the post on two separate occasions three weeks' later still waiting. Why would you assure someone it has been posted when it clearly hasn't

Brilliant product, delivery, customer care and price. The best out there. They have been doing it for 30 years and it shows. Excellent.

Despite only rating the company with two stars, I believe it is important to provide fair feedback about the excellent individuals who sell and install their high-quality products.

From the initial survey to the final installation, everything went smoothly. The salesman, Graham, was incredibly pleasant to work with and maintained fantastic communication throughout the process. He never pressured me to make any decisions and was always available to answer my questions.

I was informed that the lead time for my bespoke door would be between 10-12 weeks, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that no deposit was required. The door was delivered on time and installed by two gentlemen who did a fantastic job and left the site clean and tidy. The door itself is of great quality, and we are extremely pleased with the final product.

However, I cannot give a five-star rating because of the poor customer service provided by Mark. The invoice for the warranty stated that it only covered one year, as opposed to the 5 years for moving parts and 10 years for panels as specified in the offer. I contacted Mark, who was polite and prompt in his response, apologizing for the mistake and promising to send a replacement invoice immediately. It has now been a month, and we still have not received the correct invoice. Despite sending reminders every week, Mark failed to email the correct invoice and was unresponsive to my calls.

After reading other reviews, it appears communication issues with the company are not uncommon. This is unfortunate because the people who work for the company provide exceptional service and deserve recognition for their hard work. I am now concerned about what might happen if we have any warranty-related issues during the next 5-10 years.

just had a roller door fitted this morning what a fantastic job very sales was very pleasant and not pushy and the fitters where clean and efficient and left the garage cleaner that it was when they arrived

I had a front door fitted and requested a receipt for the work. After three telephone conversations requesting this and assurances that a receipt be sent ,still nothing has arrived and that's after 3 months ! So have sent an email but reading reviews im not confident anything will transpire!.Also when the work was carried out ,the wrong type of glass came with the door!,after calls about this ,it was changed to what was actually requested. Not sure of using them again or recommending them either.It seems the initial contact and fitting are all great,but after sales not so!

I placed an order for a 2 into 1 garage door at the beginning of March and was given 9 - 11 weeks delivery. Initially I was very impressed. However nearly 20 weeks later I am still waiting for my garage door. I have e mailed and phoned on several occasions but no one gets back to me, I have now come to the conclusion that they are unable to fulfil my order

First class service,From initial meeting with Graham to the sectional door being installed by very competent and tidy fitters.Can highly recommend Skandoor ,Based on my experience.

Had a sectional door fitted recently.
I’m not one to usually write reviews but the experience I had from start to finish, I just had to.
Graham arrived to do the survey on time and was very helpful with coming up with ideas of overcoming my problems with getting a garage door fitted, I was originally going to go for a roller door but after looking at the sectionals I decided to go for it.
The fitters arrived when expected,They was polite and friendly, They went through what they would be doing step by step and left my garage even cleaner than when they arrived.
I can’t recommend skandoor enough.

Ska doors are a super company to deal with. Speedy and keep in contact.. good service all round. Today Jay came to fit the double power point and to supply the additional key fob, which he programmed. Very efficient, polite, and job done well. Thank you. Jenny Morris

Had a door fitted almost 12 months ago. Recently been having trouble with the door making extreme noise when opening. Arranged for someone to come out but they failed to arrive. Have phoned the office every day for the past four days. Nobody answering so left message each time. Have also emailed. Still no response. The message one day said they were closed for staff training. That obviously didn’t work either. Extremely dissatisfied

Extremely poor customer service. Have been ignored on multiple occasions when asking for something as simple as a replacement electric garage door fob. Fed up of waiting and chasing. Not worth your time.

there are so many companies out there that claim they can do garage doors. These guys actually do the whole job from start to finish, I had two doors that I wanted to transition into one. A full survey was done, the price was given soon after. The work was carried out faultless, really nice bunch of guys, they done the whole job in one day, very tidy and very professional. Very pleased, will recommend to anybody

Excellent service, have used the company twice now as loved our roll up garage in our previous house. Jay and Matt fitted the door, they worked well, left the site clean and tidy and explained everything I needed to know. Great service and would highly recommend.
