Been ordering for MANY YEARS, but the quality is now shocking! 2 packs of socks all riddled with holes in only 2 months. Normally I'd get at least 6 months out of them... one pair started the rip at the toe only a few hours into wearing them, truly shocking. Such a shame as it was a great go-to for one of my essentials.

I trust that this was a manufacturing issue and has been resolved.

I have ordered the same bamboo socks from sockshop for some years now however most of the ones I ordered recently had a manufacturing defect in them as there was a gap in the stitching. I got them replaced and it was the same issue. In the end they have given me a refund as they cannot guarantee to send me out socks without this defect. Surely this should be resolved with the supplier rather than knowingly sending out a defective product to customers. Really just a poor experience all round as I had initially used the chat function (as you can't find an email address or telephone number) and I asked for a replacement and they ended up refunding so I had to reorder and get the postage refunded only for the same issue to be there with the replacement. Such a shame as they used to be good quality but clearly not anymore.

Excellent first order experience with SockShop. Initial registration, order process, dispatch speed and delivery of high quality correct items all perfectly executed.

Absolutely awful. Within 2 30degree washes the socks are bobbled and logos faded. Reported it to them and the advisor said will sort a refund after she saw the photos of the items, then 3 days later another advisor (manager) said no refund unless send them back. The link she sent me states requires to print a label but I already said I have no printer. I challenged why she said different to previous advisor and she said at weekends another company deals with the customer service and they gave incorrect info- err so why not ensure they are fully trained? Asked for complaint procedure and who is her manager and she said there is nobody above her. She is not the owner so she lied.
Never known such poor customer service for customers when the product is rubbish. Wish id read all the negative reviews before buying over £50 worth of socks. Cheap sports sock bundles last much longer so never using this company again.

Sockshop were good years ago, but now sell inferior goods.
I bought several pairs of BAMBOO SOCKS (size 5). Each pair were extremely bobbled after 1 wash, following washing instructions. Then 3 to 4 washes later (depending on which pair) holes and runs!!! What a waste of money.

Reasonable quality product but appalling customer service. Contacted multiple times due to incorrect size item being sent, but live chat unable to help and 'tickets' raised go unresponded.

Bought 6 pairs of socks online from Sockshop. I've bought plenty at this price point before now but these have to be the worst quality. They're incredibly thin and I can't imagine they'd last more than a few weeks. I should have learnt my lesson having bought underwear from Sockshop in the past which needed to be replaced after a few months. Since the demise of in-person shopping, I think many brands feel they can sell whatever tat they want online in the knowledge that nobody can check the quality or otherwise of the products beforehand and many won't bother to return them. Go elsewhere!

Live chat doesn’t work and it’s impossible to find a link to email customer service.
Strangely though, when I logged into trust pilot to rate this annoying issue, at the bottom of the review page are their contact details. Difficult to find on their website but so easy on a review site. How ironic!

So I clicked live chat…… 10 minutes later ‘nothing’ all that changed that gives you an indication that something happened is a line appeared under live chat. How long are you supposed to sit there waiting for someone to answer is beyond me.

Excellent service provided.
Socks are exactly as described on their website.
Very prompt dispatch and swiftly delivered.
Very good quality and value for money when compared to other retailers such as M&S, Next, H&M and TU. Highly recommended online seller.

“Premium bamboo T-shirts” arrived looking like second-hand dishcloths stuffed in a brown paper bag. Customer service said to hang them in the shower. Quality and presentation way below expectations. Avoid.

Ware irrtümlich bestellt, doch eine Rückerstattung scheint nicht möglich zu sein. Laut Rückgaberichtlinie wäre eine Erstattung möglich, wenn die Versiegelung nach der Lieferung nicht entfernt wurde – was in meinem Fall zutrifft. Die Rückgabe müsste also regelkonform erfolgen. Dies wird aber vom Verkäufer nicht akzeptiert. Dies ist meine Meinung nach ein Verstoß des Widerrufsrechts.

I have been a long standing customer but my recent experience will mean I won't be returning again. Placed an order to a collection point (at a cost to me) and got an email saying it was ready for collection. The shop I went to had no record of the parcel and said they never receive from Royal Mail. I took this up with customer services who said they would need to wait for the package to be returned at which point they would send it to a nominated address. When they couldn't locate the package and the problem became too difficult, they issued a refund without my permission and told me to just go back on the website and place another order...I won't ever be doing that again. The customer service attitude was dreadful, in my mind you should offer to place another order on the customers behalf to their choice of address. The sock shop blamed royal mail but that was of no help to me and the general customer service experience has left me fuming.

Please note that the feedback received from sock shop in their reply around issuing the refund was done without asking me. I did not want a refund, I just wanted my order. To inconvenience me even more by asking me to reorder on their website is lazy and poor customer service. What should have happened is a new order be sent to my home address leaving them to sort out what was happening with Royal Mail, this would have avoiding dragging it out and resulted in a happier customer. This point seems completely lost on their customer service team who just kept parroting reorder on the website.

Ordered items. Received items next day. Quick delivery I was satisfied. Realised ordered incorrect sizes, followed company procedure to make an exchange, as spent £109.00. Sent all three items back, now the trouble started. Apparently they never received my exchange items (I know Royal Mail are slow but come on!!!) When I show them a copy of my postage receipt no doubt the items will have magically appeared. Communication has been very sparse and queries and questions have been left with no help in resolving the matter. As these items were meant to be a birthday gift I feel completely let down and frustrated. I DO NOT recommend and will not be using this company again.

I bought a pack of three gentle grip socks for my dads fathers day. The socks rib was soft and had a nice feel the grip was as described however the toe seam was so hard it aggregated the toe and ended up with blisters after a sort period of time literally 10 mins after giving as fathers day present.
If you have sensitive skin and problems with skin and feet i would not recommend.

Softest pjs I’ve ever had! I can’t normally be bothered to write a review but I genuinely love these. I bought the navy stripe shorts and white vest and they arrived fast too. Definitely buying some more

I ordered from sock shop last year, 4 pairs of vibrant, soft, bamboo socks - and absolutely loved them.

I then ordered again earlier this year, the same order. The difference is visible - the new socks are thinner, have holes in already and the colour has dulled in the wash.

I thought this was maybe something I’d done, or a product change, so I came here to see if anyone had the same problem, and my thoughts were confirmed.

The socks from last year are still going strong, but whatever you’ve done to reduce your product cost has absolutely ruined my chances of ordering with you again.

I’ve just received socks from Pairs of Scotland & the quality difference is vast.

Appalling quality- holes form at seams and threads come out all over socks.
Customer service not interested.
“Chat” service tell you one thing and customer services another.
Avoid company and don’t waste your money.
A Christmas gift of multipack used only few months- not even daily. Socks should last years. Not very eco friendly.

Socks have gone downhill cutting costs on cotton so they're thin as tights now absolutely useless scratchy uncomfortable socks
Please bring back the thicker pair we would even pay double the amount just to have quality socks ffs please!!!!
