Ordered over £40 worth of socks, found within one wear the socks were thinning and getting a hole.
Tired multiple times and ways to contact customer service but no reply.
I've had better socks from High Street retailers. Not impressed at all
Also found for my childs socks that they pull up so high they are practically thigh socks not ankle / lower calf.
Overall a waste of money for me

My son has sensory issues with socks and loves the ones we got from here for school..
The problem is that after one wash they are in pieces. Always rip at the seams and come unstitched. It's happened to every order I've made. They aren't made well at all

Returned items, changing my amount to under £40 and then got stung with delivery cost. Sneakily placed on the website at the very bottom of the returns page. Like RIGHT at the bottom. Well played SockShop but has confirmed I will not buy from you again!

Got socks at discounted price, and they were delivered the next day. That is amazing since l stay in NE Scotland. Bought £40 worth, so got free delivery too, magic! No shafting with postage costs because l live in Scotland. Well done Sockshop, my feet thank you 🤩

First time customer, I purchased some mensTrainer socks and paid the extra for next day delivery, it's next day and no notification of delivery, went back to the website and of course the last thing they want to do is talk to you, so you have to put up with an AI, who proudly informed me that the next day delivery does not guarantee next day delivery and apparently when paying for next day delivery you must be prepared to wait up to seven days for delivery.
I feel like I have been mugged, this is criminal and something should be done about it, I am considering reporting it to trading standards..
Edit: In response to their answer, So 24 hour, I repeat 24 hour tracked doesn't mean within a day then!, You are a bunch of con men.

I bought some shoe slips which were a complete waste of money as they didn’t stay as described and slipped under my heel.

It pains leave to a one star review as the things I have bought from them have been great value and good quality - Calvin Klein underwear and Lazy Panda socks. However I have contacted them about ten times over the past year re the fact that their mailing links come up unsafe from Outlook on all browsers. You'd think they'd want to fix it but no just give you the run around - even their e mail address was undeliverable on one occasion. This simply is not good enough. Surely they are losing business because of this. Hopefully this one star review jolts them into action. Afraid to buy from them in case something went wrong as their customer service has been dreadful.

Update - in response to your e mail I'm amazed you do not know of the issue given the number of times I raised it - essentially all links in your marketing e mails open unsafe. Told you countless times - nothing actioned - noone got back to me.

Incredible service, and great socks. I put in an order online for 6 pairs of socks, I got an acknowledgment virtually immediately, and they were delivered the following day! Oh, and I love the socks too! In a world where too often we are let down, this was exceptional on-line buying. Thank you!

I ordered the Pringle Lace Liners, 3 pack, for £5.59. When I put a pair of the liners on, both of the socks ripped in the exact same place. I contacted Sock Shop via their online chat and informed them of what appears to be a design fault. I was asked to send a picture and was told that a "ticket" would be raised and that I would be refunded. Then I received an email from Zoe Donnelly informing me that they could not replace a single pair within the pack but they would "refund this 1 x pair". I emailed back clarifying I did not want a replacement anyway as the sock design is faulty and that I would like a refund. To which I recieved the reply "I offered a refund not a replacement". What lovely sassy customer service!

I sent a rather long reply but ultimately asked them to clarify that they cannot replace one pair out of three but can somehow refund one pair out of three. I stated I would like a refund for the pack of socks and that I did not want a partial refund as they are faulty but if they wanted I could fish them out of the bin and send them back - if they wished to cover the return postage. Which to me all seems a little counterintuitive when all I wanted was a £5.59 refund. But hey-ho. The lovely Zoe Donnelly emailed me back and said that if I wanted the full pack to be refunded then I would need to return them all, even the ripped ones in the bin.

After the sassy Customer Service experience I've had, Sock Shop can shove their weasly refund and the stupid process of returning the faulty socks and instead lose a customer.

Purchased a pack of “quality” socks first time buyer, quality very poor. Without even wearing a pair I realised the stitching had come away on one pair, on another had began to fray. Contacted them three times no reply. Yes it was my first time and due to customer service and quality best believe it’s my last. AVOID

Socks aren't particularly good quality. Developed holes after only a short wear.

Bad product and poor service to return and get my money back. None of my questions were answered directly. Took over an hour with chats and emails just to get to a point where I could return them.

Used to be good quality, but now they are piss poor. New socks lasted only two days before a hole appeared in them. I keep my toe nails well trimmed but just the flesh of my big toes has gone through them. The last set of socks I bought from them lasted for years. I notice the socks now have their company name on them so probably changed supplier. Not always good to farm your business out the the lowest bid for your products. Order number: 10513766

I have seen sockshop's reply. It is a shame that they have little understanding of the English language and it's well know phrases. "Piss Poor" is NOT swearing. It is a phrase that was first coined in 1800's.

The phrase "piss poor" is believed to have originated in the 19th century, with its roots likely tied to the idea of something being of very low quality or worth.

Scammers and useless customer service avoid at all cost !!

First of all the service is fine and delivery is good etc. That's the good out of the way. I have bought a number of their men's bamboo socks. Unfortunately they are of very poor quality, some thrown away after a couple of months or so. Guess you pay for what you get. I will only use this company to buy well known sock brands from now on. Looks like I'm not the only one who's not happy with the quality.

I wasn't planning on writing this but I contacted the shop to leave product feedback and was told to go here.
I bought some bamboo knickers around 6 months ago. They do not get heavy use and get worn each pair around once every 2 weeks. Well already 2 pairs have fully split and are ready to go in the bin and more are going. They have split along the seat where the gusset meets the back portion and along the top lace stitching. I can see the start of more falling apart. Very disappointed, especially as I initially liked the knickers.

I have bought kids bamboo socks for myself ( small feet) and grandchildren in the past and was very happy with quality so expected the same when I recently ordered 30 pairs, I was sorely disappointed. Socks are now so thin you can see through them. I had to double up my grandsons school socks this morning. They would have been better to put their prices up instead of compromising on quality. Won't be purchasing again.

I purchased 3 pairs of the kids mid weight bamboo socks which are seamless and supposedly very comfortable. Unfortunately you can feel the edges of the seams and also the pattern of the knit under your foot.
The main reason I bought these however was as I have thin ankles so thought the childrens socks may stay up better but the 'comfort cuffs' mean that as soon as I put shoes on they will slide down like most other socks...

Delivered on time cotton socks, very very poor quality holes appeared in the bottom after a few weeks and the elastine in the tops went so they just fell down!!
Please don’t waste your money and get them from anywhere else!
I get the chance to reply to send some more out but this a manufacturing /quality issue and more of the same won’t make any difference.
