No customer service at all. First it was my drivers license was illegal (2X) then it was artist name needs to be changed. The artists name is literally my name. These people play games for weeks and still won't publish song. You go round and round with an AI chat that does nothing but run you in circles. Go to any other music distribution company and stay away from this one. Absolute and complete bulls**t!

If possible I'd give a zero star. No customer service at all. Just BOT reply and that's it. The end nothing more. And the BOT replies isn't even helpful, AT ALL. 100% USELESS

The worst, no customer service, don't know anything about anything. Everytime I put out music it gets rejected first for the most idiotic thing and now like I said my latest album is rejected and says the artist is in a wishlist or something but it's literally the same artist I've been using for over a year now so if anyone infringing it's them! Not me! They make everything unnecessarily more complicated

horrible music distributor doesn't have an account deletion option, non-existent support

I have been attempting to open an account with SoundOn for weeks, using my passport as my ID. However, my application has been repeatedly rejected due to "invalid ID." I've submitted several different types of photos, including just the data page, the data page with the second page, and even a photo of me holding the passport, as they suggested.

Customer support has been unhelpful, providing only canned responses that don't address my issue. They keep telling me to make sure my scan is in color and clear, which it is—I've scanned it at 600dpi. The most frustrating part was their final reply, where they stated that they don't accept passports and that I should use a different form of identification.

I'm giving up on trying to open an account. If this is how difficult it is just to sign up, I can only imagine the problems I would face when trying to distribute my music.

I'm confused about the bad reviews? I've used them for a few releases and even removed songs and rebranded. They always reply me do it within a matter of hours. It's super easy to upload tracks and get them distributed. They just do everything for you in a click. They automatically email you royalty statements and oh yeah... its free! What more do you expect?

It is best not to use this music distributor. Suddenly, I received a notification saying that the music on my account was suspected of using copyrighted materials. Without giving me a chance to prove it, all the music was removed and my account was permanently frozen.

Am reading through all these reviews and only received negative feedback from those who've used soundon however their issue is lack of communication ; ID not uploading and song rejection. My experience so far have been different. I didn't experience any of these issues. I currently distribute with Distokid; Cdbaby where majority of my catalog is at; symphonic and I have an account with lander. In my opinion if my music can reach millions through tiktok I should be able to capitalize on that through shows. If you're looking to make money from these distribution companies you've already failed. Use these platforms as an avanue to propell your career . Artist makes money from touring .In my opinion soundon is giving artist a platform to build a fan base . With this fanbase you can organize tours. Millions of views means promoters will book you. Stop complaining and utilize the opportunity. Ill keep you'll updated after my first month with soundon. However in the meantime I'll create songs especially for tiktok promotion. My other more conscious songs I'll use other platforms.

Worst customer service as you get no response. The platform is a complete joke. Look at the reviews and good luck ever getting a hold of anyone from the company. I have been requesting my songs be removed from the platform for almost 2 years with no response.

Here are the issues I struck :

Falsely accused us of "generating false streams"
One artist had his track included on a US playlist which suddenly saw big numbers
(The people that do this stuff often pick "innocent" random tracks to fill out their playlist to look less suspicious)
The artist was an indigenous artist who is not overly tech savy - barely online at all. But his song was cancelled. With no option to discuss or redress the issue. Boom. Gone.

Another artist used samples in his track
- which were obviously and clearly "Creative commons" from decades ago
Submission rejected. No chance to discuss or review.

Almost impossible to navigate their upload process
Inconsistent and often forcing cover artwork to be "changed" before submission was approved.

Very poor customer service - issues rarely resolved promptly - if you get an answer at all.
Often I would have a multiple issues happenning at the same time - I would get a reply - but no reference about which track or issue they were responding to - I would reply back to clarify - still wouldn't answer - frustrating as you can imagine.

It was almost like I was dealing with the CCP.... oh wait...

but best of all - THEY STOLE OUR ROYALTIES.

A complete disgrace. They should be banned from operating in this space at all.

They remove you from their contracted terms over receiving Bots that's not even your own fault from a third party services then Soundon keep using your recording after its cancelled with videos from other people. There is no information about this in their terms. I had emailed them a few days ago with no reply. They are a low level outfit.

I liked the idea of Soundon - they are affiliated with TikTok and I wanted to write some music specifically aimed at that platform to see if the algorithm would pick it up and make it a success.
As luck would have it, that was starting to happen. A few of my tracks were getting used in a lot of videos and were generating tens of millions of views. I experimented with creating various 'virtual' artists and wrote songs with lyrics that I thought conveyed universally popular messages.
It was gathering momentum nicely and I began dedicating more and more of my time to it.
Then in April 2025 - out of nowhere and with no prior warning or explanation - I received an email advising that my account had been permanently suspended. I contacted them to appeal and to ask for a reason but recieved no reply.
I sent daily emails from multiple email addresses for the first two weeks, appealing to them to review this case and requesting further details as to why it had happened. The only reply I recieved was one that said "rest assured our team is working diligently to resolve this matter".
That was six weeks ago.
For the last six weeks I have been attempting to get the ISRC codes and Release Dates from SoundOn for the tracks they have taken down so that I can get them back onto the platforms through another distributor.
They have ignored every correspondence I have sent.
Surely it's just common decency to furnish me with the information I am asking for? I don't even care about reinstating my SoundOn account - I just want the dates and codes to get my music back online.
My next step will be to start writing them actual letters asking for this information, and if that doesn't work (which it probably won't) I am going to travel to Manchester to their head offices at Media City and see if I can doorstep one of their employees.
SoundOn are absolutely shocking - the level of callous indifference that they display towards artists who are trying so hard to get somewhere with their music is beyond despicable. It's clearly company policy to operate in this way - it just beggars belief that any business would take the conscious decision to do it.
I would implore you to NEVER use this company.

Do NOT use SoundOn to release your music! They don’t respond to emails or support, and my song never made it to platforms like Instagram or Facebook. Super frustrating experience!
Do NOT Waste Your Song!!

They depend on bots so are worse than useless. Songs keep getting rejected for no valid reason. Computer says No with no chanc3 of addressing the problem with a real person
