I have used SPUR shelving brackets and uprights for many years in different houses. When we moved to our current residence I brought my collection of SPUR products with me, as the new owners of our previous place did not need them.
I am now installing shelves in a cupboard that held our gas boiler (now replaced by an outside heat pump). I am using the 'T-Slot' brackets and uprights to give me four shelves. Our other rooms are sure to require more SPUR shelving items. I have already used some in the potting shed.

Odering was straight forward, telephone support was helpful, delivery was quick. New brackets fitted my 50 year old uprights well. New uprights had slightly different lengths and hole placings than the old ones. But I was very satisfied that I could continue using my 'stock' of Spur shelving. It really is very robust and obvously stronger than others I have used.

This was the second experience with this company, both occasions have been positive. Products (shelving brackets) are good quality and durable.
I want to give out a shout out to Peter as the second time I ordered I did so quite close to Christmas and despite the time crunch he got the product delivered which was a huge relief.

I was looking for some good quality shelving and to my surprise I discovered that the lovely second hand twinslot shelving I had was still being made
I also noticed that they did custom colours as well as a few off the shelf options
Peter was very friendly and helpful and I ordered some pink brackets and uprights
The turnaround was what you’d expect for something that gets custom powder coated and they arrived today looking even better than the pictures advertising them
I’m extremely happy with the quality and the service and shall be using them in the future should I need more

I have some Spur shelving which is over 20yrs old, so looked for original Spur shelving to see if I could expand on what I already had in my shed. The new still matches perfectly with the old original parts after all those years. Good customer service, helpful and showed me a variety of bracket sizes until I found what I needed. The imported copies are far weaker so be careful what you buy.

Excellent experience dealing with Peter this morning over the phone on a query relating to a historic line of Spur 'easyhang' shelving.
Spur is an outstanding brand. They are making products that withstand the ravages of time and heavy use. From an era where Britain made the best vacuums, hi-fi equipment etc. built to last, passed on from generation to generation.
I will always buy from this UK outfit as I have witnessed first hand the decline in quality from Chinese manufacture in multiple industries combined with rampant price hikes for any supposedly higher quality ranges. Of course the media with vested interests will try to convince consumers that this is all not true, however the proof is in the pudding.
This is the timeless product for those discerning customers that still use a Junior Hoover or Kirby vacuum, still drive Morris Minors and well engineered C4 Chevrolet Corvettes, still listen to their music on Leak valve amps and early Wharfedale, early 1990s Castle and Tannoy speakers- the legends that endure solely owing to their quality and reliability. God bless Spur shelving, accept no imitations.

Bought direct from the spurshelving.co.uk website. My payment was acknowledged a *week* later, with no indication of a delivery date. When I chased, a month later, the whole operation (Asset Protection and Licencing Ltd) seemed to be one guy, Peter Sully. He offered up one excuse after another: the size I'd ordered wasn't in stock in black and he'd have to get more to the powder-coaters. He was in the hands of the coaters, and hoped they paint the goods black etc etc.

Finally, he said he'd rushed to collect from the coaters and would parcel the stuff up and post it. It arrived - 6 weeks after ordering and only because I pushed. Unfortunately, one of the 12 brackets didn't fit well (and stuck), while over half had sharp spurs of metal that would slice a hand open. These should have been filed off before coating.

I had to resort to PayPal as Sully didn't respond top my request for postage to return the order due to dangerous faults. A day before the PP deadline, Sully granted the refund. No postage, of course, which is considerable for items of this weight.

I'm truly sorry to have this experience. I'd relied on Spur Shelving for decades, but now, I'll buy twin-slot products from Ironmongery Direct. I wish I hadn't given away all the old-school Spur stuff I'd collected over years!

After the devastation of seeing sales collapse Eff Manufacturing handed back the trademark licence and manufacturing equipment which was owned by Asset Protection and Licencing Ltd. AP&L had tried to support the manufacturing business but with fakes being promoted as if they were from the brand could only support so far. AP&L has re-started production to the extremely high standards you would expect from Spur shelving and other Spur product ranges. The brand is fighting its way back.

All Spur shelving is UK manufactured and is not branded as anything else. People selling twinslot are not selling Spur product. Twinslot is a generic description of any products with pairs of slots.

Updating my earlier SCAM warning. Still not received my order (October 2023) or received a refund. This company wants winding up as they still have a operating website. I ordered shelving system components and paid by PayPal, raised a dispute with PP and they resolved the matter in favour of EFF, so they must have said I'd received the order, what a bunch of liars.

Despite repeated requests for a VAT Invoice to be sent to us for a payment in advance we had made on the 25th July 2023, we had no response at all. Emails were sent to 3 different email addresses and no one responded. All we wanted was a VAT Invoice scanned to us. Not much to ask for and they are legally obliged to issue us with a VAT Invoice. We won't be using them again.

I had only a small order of a few brackets to augment an existing installation. I received prompt and friendly service and today I have taken delivery of my order in good time and in excellent condition. Thank you.

Fantastic company and fantastic products, so good to see British manufacturing alive and well in the Black Country.
An excellent service from the team, I emailed the team late Tuesday afternoon and the brackets were ready for me to collect at 10am the next day, boxed up and ready to go. Fantastic service as well, had a really nice chat with Conor while picking up the brackets.

Having used Spur shelving before, and found it to be very good material, I recently ordered some more following a house move. The order was efficiently processed and the goods arrived safely. Particular thanks to whoever packaged it - an extremely good job!
Would always recommend Spur shelving, it is very well made and extremely strong.

The product is dependable - its almost bomb proof in a domestic setting - and the ease of adjusting shelves makes it perfect in our kitchen store cupboard. A bonus is the wide range of bracket sizes. I grew up with Spur and now turn to it as a brand leader - a bit like the hoover is to vacuum cleaners.
Dispatch took a few days but packaging and delivery were fine.
