The first meeting with the solicitor has helped me understand the process of separation and divorce. The role of the solicitor was well explained, as well as my different options. It did make a difficult situation seem less daunting. Angela was patient and considerate, carefully gaining facts without being judgmental.

I would highly recommend Stowe Family Law for anyone going through a divorce. From the very beginning, they were approachable, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Divorce is an emotionally challenging experience, but they handled my case with sensitivity and genuine care while still being clear and realistic about the legal process.
They consistently explained things in plain English, made sure I understood my options, and were always responsive when I had questions or concerns. I felt supported throughout and confident that my best interests were being represented. Their calm and reassuring approach made a difficult situation far more manageable, and I’m very grateful for the service I received.

I was assigned Chloe flynn to handle and help me navigate the process, which she did profoundly efficient. she is very professional and extremely knowledgeable without compromise on compassion, ethics or understanding.

Making a daunting , formal and personelly challenging process , far smoother and reassured both by her professional law skill and kind/compassionate nature.

My experience with Stowe did not start as expected, they did not provide any leaflets about how the process worked, all they sent me was a document outlining their ways of working etc.
At the start of the process I had an associate, who then went to Snr Associate. I was not informed of the increase in costs as a result of this.
Even when I wanted to have a call, I was informed, I would only be allowed to have a call if money was placed on account.
They were only to happy to send you an email and charge you for it, when a call would have been sufficient. The accounts team are also crap, they would send you demand emails for you to place money on account, sometimes this was completely incorrect, and they would regularly hassle you. Not helpful when you are going through a very stressful time.
They will never recommend things to you like Mediation, considering they do this everyday, you would think they would be much more helpful and understanding.
Even when I went to court, they still charged me for chasing the court, even though I was doing this as well. It was only me putting in a Complaint to the court how I eventually got my Sealed Order. The solicitor was happy to keep billing me for chasing.

In summary, find another solicitor, they are only interested in milking you of your money. They do not walk you the process or provide you with any leaflets or guidance.

I completed my strategy meeting with Heidi Fleming and she was absolutely wonderful. She was well informed, had read the large amounts of information I’d provided prior to our meeting and was ready to get straight to business. She was honest about the whole process, including the cost and was knowledgable about all the areas I was seeking help in.

She was friendly and approachable and it was a joy to work with someone who made the process so seamless and easy at what is a very stressful time in my life

I would highly recommend Rebecca Reynolds at Stowe Family Law. Rebecca has provided excellent advice whilst I've been going through my divorce, always responding in a timely and compassionate manner. She made the process feel less overwhelming during a difficult time and I achieved the outcome I wanted which I'm very grateful for.

It was really good. I had a 1 hour call with Hannah Ross and she run me through all the options I had in my case so at the end of the call i was able to make an informed decision about the best way to proceed. I definitely recommend them and I definitely recommend Hannah Ross as a solicitor.

I gave a bad review and have now received a belated demand for £579.00. They are the legal eagles but i believe in fair play and will fight them to the end. Theyve had the thick end of £20.000.00 to not complete my divorce based on their dishonesty. Stowe family law bring it on.

I have to thank my solicitor Heidi Fleming for her support, never ending patience and understanding during what was one of the worst times of my life. She kept me well informed through the process, was always prompt in replying to millions of questions (sometimes the same ones repeatedly) clearly and consistently offering support and advice helping me navigate a difficult few years of divorce.
I cannot rate Heidi enough and recommend her highly should you find yourselves in a difficult divorce.

Rachael Wilson was excellent in piloting me through a divorce settlement. At a time when your thought processes are a bit all over the place she was able to explain the legal process and requirements in a clear and concise manner. I hope that I'm never in the position to need her services again but wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to people that do.
