Together with a group of friends we booked a package holiday where the tour operator had gone bankrupt and the booking agency who took the payment in full, first refused to do anything about it, and then only offered a small refund. With the help of Summerfield Browne, we were able to get back the full amount, plus some extra compensation.

Having dealt with many solicitors during the last 30 years, for personal and business reasons, I must say that Summerfield Brown have exceeded my expectations. the communication has been first class, they have been honest, pragmatic in their approach, and explained the legal jargon in plain english. If you need a solicitor for your needs, give them a try, I would not hesitate to use them again.

It was one of the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Terms agreed at the beginning to execute work including timescale of one week, all information provided on my side promptly. Mistake done by the solicitor on the contract I need to sign, which slightly delayed thing and then… black hole… Literally, I had to chase them to ask what’s going on. The solicitor was insisting that first they are doing standard procedures and I need to pay, however no invoice was provided. I was asking where to pay, calling them as one week after when the job should have been completed we were at square 1. No success. Finally, I wrote a complain to the director and a few days later got a letter with no apology (just “it’s unfortunate” ) that that solicitor has resigned and they don’t have capacity to deal with my case. I just couldn’t believe somebody could be so unprofessional
