I have had a really bad experience today at Sytner Mini Wolverhampton . I was all set to part exchange my 2 and a half year old mini for a newer shape 8 month old one which I had reserved. I booked a test drive and have dealt with Paige Hodson unfortunately this seemed to be a struggle from day one.
I didn't find her to be professional she had a lack of care and overall I was made to feel like I was a nuisance. Today at the test drive she gave me a convertible instead of a hard top telling me they were exactly the same - she gave me the keys didn't advise me where any of the controls were (its different in the new shape which I have never driven before) and just left me to it - she just didn't seem bothered at all. Claire Ketland was lovely and very professional and I did ask a lady called Jess if I could deal with her directly as she was able to answer questions - unfortunately this was totally ignored. This whole experience has really put me off dealing with Mini Wolverhampton - While the dealership itself appears well presented the quality of customer service fell far below what I would expect from a Mini retailer Unfortunately based on this I would be reluctant to return or recommend Mini Wolverhampton to others.

Jordan was so helpful from the outset, I was not able to see the car in situ and received a video walking me around the car which was great. He was attentive and helpful throughout the process as was Paige who actually brought the car to Shrewsbury for me

I don’t write reviews, but following the after sales care from this dealership I have been left with no alternative. I had been searching for a specific model and specification of a Mini for some time and was thrilled when I spotted online one for sale at Sytner Mini Wolverhampton. To cut a long story short, I received a phone regarding my online interest, a px price was agreed and a deposit paid. Exactly eight days later I drove from Lancashire down to Wolverhampton to pick up my new to me Mini.
Upon arrival I was taken to a seat where I waited quite sometime for the salesman to appear. Although I take some responsibility for this in that I should have asked, but at this point, I hadn't yet seen the Mini as it was still being finished, why after eight days is beyond me. Paperwork commenced as expected, my px was checked and approved as I'd described, my px was put into trade online and then the salesman moved onto taxing my 'new' Mini, I had my debit card ready to pay, when the gov.uk online system taxed it with zero cost, should be £195. Immediately the salesman disappeared for over five mins and came back to advise me that we both would have to go to the post office as it was currently registered as disabled taxation so a V62 form was filled in (only a photocopy of original V5 was present) and off we went, remember I still hadn't seen the 'new' Mini. At the post office I duly paid £195, the dealership paid the £25 for a V5 ( which three weeks later I still hasn't arrived) and back to Sytner we went. Once again I was asked to take a seat whilst more paper work was gone through both with the salesman and the manager. Whilst with the manager, the salesman disappeared to bring the 'new' Mini for me. I completed the paperwork with the manager and again was left waiting for the
'new' Mini to arrive. Then in walks the salesman to advise he has had another set of number plates made as he wasn't impressed with the ones fitted. Whilst he's fitting these plates I was, for the first time able to have a look around my 'new' Mini and at first glance, after waiting over two hours to collect it, it appeared clean and tidy as described, albeit for a dent on the chrome belt line on the drivers door which I pointed out to the salesman who immediately took a photograph and advised me he would order one and send it on to me, which I accepted. So handshake done and in the car I got, ready to drive off when the salesman came back out to advise there must be a tracker fitted as these are the fobs for it and proceeded to hand me two tracker fobs, he mentioned he would confirm if the tracker was live etc and would let me know, again I was more than happy with that and just wanted to get on the road to get back to work.
Three emails later now regarding the chrome belt line piece and one reply, just to advise me that the 'body shop' could only get a price for a complete set rather than just the single drivers door piece required, he would ask the parts set rather than just the single drivers door piece required, he would ask the parts dept and he would get back to me with an answer. Two further emails have been sent and just one phone call to which I received no return call. Regarding the tracker, again three weeks later and I'm still awaiting confirmation if it does actually have a tracker fitted and if so, how does it get registered to myself etc.
Once back home I had a good look around the Mini and was very shocked to see dirt around all the door hinge pillars, which thankfully cleaned off with a little elbow grease, and under the bonnet was a different story again.
I've never seen an engine bay on a six year old Mini so disgusting with dried leaves galore and once again, the dirtiest bonnet ever.
To myself, this after sales service has been absolutely diabolical and the most unprofessional dealership I have ever encountered. I have previously purchased from a couple of Mini Dealerships near home and had amazing after sales treatment from both.
I feel very let down by this dealership and write this review in the hope that any future potential customers are able to read this long review before committing themselves to any new vehicle, as unfortunately this dealership is certainly one l'd advise anyone thinking of a change of vehicle, not to use. It most definitely should not be allowed to treat customers in this way and deserve no future business. And yes, I have written to Mini themselves as this dealership certainly. As an update, I contacted my local Mini dealership regarding the chrome belt line and in less than one minute they gave me a price, took payment and given a delivery date, again showing a total lack of professionalism from Sytner Mini Wolverhampton.

I’ve been trying to book my mini in for a service for 3 days with no luck absolutely terrible service, they don’t want to talk to customers. The only option you have is to leave a message to which they say they will respond but on all three occasions I have had nothing back. Unfortunately Sytner BWM have a monopoly the West Midlands. Very disappointed with them not what I expected from this brand.

My wife took car for an MOT at 8.00am this morning. She received a garbled video message stating car had failed at 9.30am. It is now 13.55hrs still not been able to speak to anyone about what the car has failed on, absolute appalling service.
Next time we will be using an independent garage.
It's no surprise my wife received a call around 9.00am asking if she wished to upgrade to a new model.
If we are to upgrade, it certainly won't be with Sytner Mini Wolverhampton.

After having a 'thought' that we might like a convertible Mini, Aaron could not have helped us more. He organised a test drive, went through car and finance options so we could make an informed choice. Having made our decision, he managed to source us a car incredibly quickly. The communication all the way through has been excellent and the handover of my new car was made to feel very special. Thank you Aaron for making this purchase so easy.
