I recently purchased the Tefal Pro Express Eco GV9E21G0 Steam Generator Iron in Forest Green, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best household investments I’ve made.

From the first use, the power of the steam output really stood out. It glides effortlessly over clothes and removes even stubborn creases in seconds, making ironing far quicker and less of a chore. The Eco mode is a brilliant feature too—it still delivers impressive performance while helping reduce energy use, which is a huge bonus.

The large water tank is incredibly convenient, especially when tackling bigger loads, as I don’t have to keep stopping to refill. I also love the smart thermostat technology—it takes the guesswork out of adjusting temperatures and gives me confidence when ironing more delicate fabrics.

Overall, this iron combines power, efficiency, and ease of use perfectly. It’s reliable, well-designed, and makes ironing almost enjoyable. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performance, energy-saving steam generator iron

A huge shout out to Tefal

A huge shout out to Tefal, I left the pan on the hob overnight (by accident, not like me at all!), I woke up to discover this but there was no fire and the pan still cleaned up really well despite throroughly being burnt last all night. It also has not warped, actually very surprised!

Onna side note, make sure you switch your hobs after use and make sure they're definately off at the wall 😅

Tefal Products - RUBBISH!

Avoid this garbage company at ALL costs! Their products are total RUBBISH! I had a blender that leaked everywhere and a food processor that did the same! Returned everything! And their customer service department are pure TRASH! Avoid them too. Just horrible.

Tefal broke my electric oven completely whilst trying to perform a warranty repair over six months ago. Following this, they claimed not to have any ovens available for replacement and offered a deep fat fryer as a instead. When this was refused as the oven was needed for the family Christmas dinner, they said they had done all that they could and were sending back the item that they had damaged beyond repair. This has not turned up (apparently sent the Christmas week 2025), they have provided proof of delivery which shows someone elses house. I get a nothing response every few weeks after sending multiple emails chasing.

Poor overall experience.

Poor overall experience.

Brand new product, already faulty after barely any use.

1) Having to send this off was poor, when it was a clear poorly manufactured product.

2) Receiving a letter from the quality checkers basically blaming us and implying they are doing us a favour by swapping some brand new scissors, used a few times, as a "goodwill gesture".

Shocking. I will never buy Tefal again other than their pans.

Worse Customer Service Ever

I have never experienced such frustrating and time-wasting customer service.

I purchased a hand blender which turned out to be faulty. When empty, it makes a loud grinding noise suggesting a motor issue, and when actually used with food, it simply does not work at all. It completely fails to chop and is unusable.

I returned the item to the store and it was sent off for repair around mid-January. From that point on, everything went downhill.

On 9th February, I was told the product had “no fault found” and it was sent back to me. As soon as I received it (17th February), I immediately sent video evidence clearly showing the fault still exists.

From there, I was repeatedly asked to send the same videos and information over and over again. Despite sending everything multiple times, I kept receiving emails asking for the exact same evidence. At one point, they even claimed they couldn’t view the videos — so I resent them again. Then I was asked again days later.

I was also asked multiple times to provide my receipt, even though it had already been shown in-store and sent previously. I ended up scanning and resending it just to avoid further delays.

I raised a formal complaint and requested a manager call back on 3rd March. No one called. I chased again. Still nothing.

Eventually, after weeks of chasing, a manager finally called — only to tell me I need to send the product back AGAIN for another inspection. This is after it has already been inspected once and incorrectly marked as having no fault.

This whole process has now taken over two months for a £34.99 item that is clearly faulty and under warranty.

The level of service has been unacceptable:
• Repeated requests for the same information
• Poor communication and delays
• Failure to call back when promised
• No ownership or urgency
• Being sent in circles

It genuinely feels like they are trying to wear you down rather than resolve the issue.

I am still without a working product and still waiting for a proper resolution.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing, as if something goes wrong, you may end up in a very long and frustrating process.

Frying pan not fit for purpose!!!!

Back in June 2025 I purchased a 28cm and 24cm frying pan and a wok.

In January I noticed the 28cm pan base was buckled.

I contacted Tefal and sent the pan back.
They said I had not used it properly, either putting in water when hot (NEVER do that with any of my pans!) or using it on too high a temperature! Well how do you cook a decent steak if its not on a high heat?
I would say that is more of a warming pan than a frying pan!
The 1986 Trades Description Act would probably say the pan is not fit for purpose but Tefal refused a refund or a replacement...!

NEVER again!

Extremely poor experience with Tefal and their customer service. I purchased a pan set which has developed deterioration of the coating across multiple pans, with the exterior finish also wearing away in patches. When several items in the same set fail in the same way, it clearly points to a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear and tear.

Despite explaining this repeatedly, customer service responses have been generic, dismissive and focused only on rigid company policy instead of resolving the issue. The only solution offered was to return pans in stages, which would leave me without basic kitchen equipment to cook with. This is completely impractical and shows a lack of consideration for the customer.

It is extremely disappointing that a brand like Tefal produces products of this quality and then provides such poor support when faults arise. The whole experience has been frustrating and handled very badly.

High quality pots and pans for a reasonable price.

Purchased a set of Ingenio pots and pans, partly because the removable handles suit my small kitchen, and partly because I’ve used Tefal before and was always happy with the quality. They’re not the cheapest brand, but in this instance, it’s totally worth the extra. The set just screams quality when you open the box, and the cooking experience lives up to this, The purchase process was easy, and delivery was as promised. No regrets here - I would recommend this Tefal product, unconditionally.

ZERO STARS - DO NOT BUY!

I would give zero stars if I could as there is no customer service available in the UK, calls are taken from a call centre in Portugal and the team appear to be trained to not care or help and refuse access to a manager as I have requested several times now. In December Ipurchased a generator iron, but the coiled lead was faulty. Tefal insisted I had to return the iron for repair although I specifically requested a replacement or refund as I had paid over £300 for a faulty product. They would not offer a refund so I had no choice but to return the iron which they kept for over 4 weeks so in the meantime I had to buy another iron. My sream generator iron was eventually returned after a lot of chasing telephone calls but for reasons best known to themselves they replaced the steam generator component which was never reported as faulty in the first place. However, I am now unable to use the iron as the steam button is stuck in the down position and the unit fires out continuous boiling hot steam which is a huge health and safety hazard. Again I had zero help from customer services,they refused to issue a refund or allow me to speak to a manager. My only option is to return the iron for a further repair which again will take weeks. So here I am stuck with a steam iron which I can not use. PLEASE DO NOT BUY TEFAL PRODUCTS as they do not care about their customers and are breaking UK Trading laws by refusing a refund when the product is under guaranty and more importantly is presenting as a huge fire and safety risk .

False advertising

Tefal were advertising a pot and pan set for £50 using google adds and when I thought that’s a good price I’m going to buy them, it took me to their website and the price instantly went to £99.

I contact Tefal to honour the £50 they were advertising them for and I was told no, if you advertise something at a certain price then I am entitled to purchase them at that price and you must honour it.

I am extremely disappointed with how…

I am extremely disappointed with how Tefal have handled my case (1608248177).
I have repeatedly explained that, due to my disabilities, I am unable to clean, move, or package the appliance for a courier collection. Despite this, Tefal have continued to push the same unsuitable solution without offering any meaningful alternative or support.
I rely on this appliance daily, and the turnaround time they have proposed is not manageable. I have tried to resolve this reasonably by requesting a replacement or refund, but instead I have received repeated, generic responses that do not address my situation.
Given that I have clearly explained my circumstances, I would expect reasonable adjustments to be considered. Unfortunately, this has not been the case, which has caused unnecessary stress and frustration.
I have now been left with no option but to formally escalate the complaint further. I would have expected far better customer care and understanding from a company like Tefal.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. I purchased an expensive Tefal steam iron and the product has not been fit for purpose from day one! I persevered with it and then rang Tefal - they needed videos of the problem. Iron leaks water whilst ironing on steam! It was sent for repair and I was without an iron for 10 days. When it was returned it still had the same fault! I rang Tefal and they asked me to try one or two different things - still the same problem! They now want me to send more videos to show them the same problem before they will send it for repair again!!!!! I asked to speak to a manager - that takes 48 hours - the manager rang whilst I was out and left an inaudible message and never bothered to try again to contact me!!!! Just rang Tefal again and asked for a manager to call me and it could take another 48 hours meanwhile I have a steam iron that is not fit for purpose!!!!! Never buy a tefal product their customer service is rubbish.

Tefal Frying Pan

After normal use on a gas hob for about a year the bottom peeled off my Tefal frying pan. Their customer service was unhelpful, no explanation or resolution offered, Will never but Tefal again. Rubbish product, rubbish customer service.

Worst company ever to deal with

Worst company ever to deal with. Our dual airfryer was sent for repair in January, after waiting a month it was returned to us completely broken. It wasn't packaged correctly and do had smashed in transit, it was also so dirty and was not sent this way. After more phone calls to Tefal it was re sent away to them. Here we are nearly 2 months later still trying to resolve the situation. We still have no replacement airfryer and customer service is non existent. We have been promised this will be dealt with every week since February. We will never use Tefal again. Avoid buying any of their products.

A Hard Pass on "Care For You First Clothes Steamer System"

I purchased a Care For You First Automatic Clothes Steamer System in January 2024 (Order No. TSN000197221). Within 24 months, the clip that connects the frame snapped, so I can no longer connect the sack to the frame to make the system work. The guarantee is 2 years, and I've just passed that term. It's now useless, and a fix involves me paying to send the whole unit off for repair, which is more than £200. In terms of use, it's disappointing, which is why it's going in the bin. It's great for sanitising clothes so you don't need to dry clean them, but that's about it. It can't help remove or reduce marks, and even if you faff with the clips to hold your clothes down, it doesn't remove creases and in no way replaces your iron. I'm astonished that some reviewers say it achieves this, because it definitely doesn't. Customer Service is quick to respond by either offering to put you in touch with a list of people who can repair it or to sell you a replacement at a discount. That's a firm "no".

Should be zero stars.

Generic replies from customer service. Refusal to escalate. 6 month old barely used air fryer developed a fault. You think
A name such as Tefal would guarantee a quality item but no, still cheap rubbish with little to no customer service. Avoid. Go to a smaller company who will appreciate your business.
Can also say the repair service they use, also sub standard practices.

Awful company

Awful company. Had an iron less than 3 months and its broken. Had a call with someone at tefal customer service said my only option is to send for repair? So what am I supposed to about ironing my clothes while you try to repair this junk? Unacceptable and I’ve had to purchase a new iron as they didn’t bother to get back in contact with me after I asked my complaint to be escalated to a manager

Do not buy a tefal product. Worst customer service going
