Seems can only answer questions in order they learned. Ask out of order, they get confused.
Revert to almost automated speak.
They answer what they think you meant, not listen to what you really say

2 months and no further forward with my request to move a trust fund we set up for my son into his own bank account.

We were told in a letter that Tesco have been trying to contact my son and that he should call them back. This was on the 11th March. He called them back and they said they would then send a verification code in the post within 5 days. It's been over 5 days so we called them again today on the same number originally used, but the person we spoke to said it was the loan department, despite it being the correct department originally! Another 5 minute wait to speak to someone.

This belligerent person argued that it hasn't been 5 working days, but it has. They also confirmed that the "We've been trying to contact you" line in the letter is their way to get you to call them, and that they never try and contact customers. So why use this confusing language? Why they can't say in the letter or even on an email "Please contact us" is beyond me.

It's been over 2 months since we first made the request to move his money into his own account. It feels like Tesco are reluctant to release HIS money.

I have no confidence that this code will come in the post in the coming days, and I fear this process will have to be started all over again.

Terrible service and incompitence by Tesco Bank.

I'm trying to open a online joint savings account with Tesco Bank. Tried 5 times now, rang and spoke to 2 different advisers and followed their instructions. All 5 times I've been timed out when applying online, an absolute joke. I'll try another bank tomorrow.

I spoke to a very nice lady who was pleasant and didn't try to rush me.

When I phoned the number on the back of my card l expected it to be answered by a person.

The person I spoke to was sympathetic re my bereavement and talked me through what would happen next. I don’t understand why I had to have a new card and number, this is inconvenient as unable to use the service till my new card comes. I don’t understand why my late husband could not just be removed from the account.

I contacted Tesco bank because I couldn’t pay in my credit card as my phone remained in my car which broke down in the garage. The customer advisor didn’t take it lightly and trusted my say. Thank you for this trust
