We took a day trip to London and paid around £70 for a group of four on the Uber Boat, only to unknowingly travel beyond Westminster and be told at Greenwich that we had to pay an extra £17 to return—making it feel like a misleading and overpriced experience that tourists should be warned about.

Did t expect much from a chat bot but my problem was resolved successfully within seconds

Tube strikes made the service ultra busy and I queued forever… but the staff were great. Loved the attitude at Embankment when I changed during a crazy long journey. They were friendly, happy and efficient. Making the best out of a bad situation.

After boarding the Uber boat from London Bridge to Battersea we were treated extremely rudely by a very aggressive ‘Alisha’ I think her name was it ruined our experience. Her customer service was atrocious and after challenging her why she felt the need to be so rude she reared up at us in a very aggressive manner. Her customer service skills need to be reconsidered especially considering it’s a people’s persons job.

A frequent user of Thames Uber Clippers, today was not my best experience. Staff on the return from Greenwich, 17.20. 26.08.25 were rude and bullying. Herding ticket payers along, passengers unsteady on their feet shouted at to hurry. Really embarrassing, can't imagine what foreign visitors must have thought. Ironic that signs everywhere inform that 'NO rudness or inappropriate behaviour towards staff is tollerated'. What about the other way around?

Unreliable service. They cancel boats without reasons whenever they want.they are turistic service not to rely that you can get to work on time using their service. Their X canceling boats service is a joke

Siamo arrivati per prendere la barca in 8 persone, dalla stazione di London Bridge fino a Westminister.
Arrivati facciamo tap-in con la carta e la macchinetta ci da il regolare ok di approvazione.
Peccato che l'operatore li vicino avesse messo al contrario la copertura con scritto fuori servizio, che è andato a girare pochi minuti dopo per coprire il pos precedentemente scoperto.
Una volta visto ciò chiediamo cosa fare e lui ci risponde che dobbiamo rifare tap-in prima di salire sulla barca e, per riassumere, che sperava questo avesse risolto le cose. Peccato che la mattina dopo ci svegliamo con un conto di più di 40£ a testa letteralmente per 1 km di barca, dato dal doppio tap-in che siamo stati costretti a fare da un dipendente incompetente e mal informato e dalla sua collega, al quale abbiamo provato a rivolgerci dopo la risposta "speranzosa" del primo, la quale si è prontamente messa a ridere.
Detto ciò conveniva prendere la metro, se avessimo sbagliato noi non ci sarebbero problemi ma pagare per la risposta sbagliata di un dipendente ignorante non va bene, avessimo fatto da soli non avremmo sbagliato.
Questo giochetto tra l'altro è stato fatto con più di una persona perchè altri ragazzi sono venuti a chiederci cosa ci avesse detto l'operatore dato che anche loro erano nella stessa situazione, spero a loro sia andata meglio.

You will have long Que's and Crowds to deal with. Rude and obnoxious Staff. Expensive Costs. They are so focused on money, they just stop going East-Bound from Midday onwards and only get to North Greenwich, where the schedule is total BS. Then you wait for 2 or 3 more boats over an hour saying the Same thing.
I have been stranded more times than I can count. Do NOT go by the Timetables after Midday. Captains just decide on the spot to turn around and go back to Inner London, or just Stop the journey randomly. Not Reliable. Timetable becomes pure Random in the Afternoon.
If I had a Pound for every time I heard - This boat is now 'Out of Service' - I would be rich!
Do not do it people. Don't be Stranded.

Used the uber boat from near Waterloo to Battersea’s power station , the lady said here’s your boat coming after the boat that’s in leaves - it just carried on past she didn’t know why so was on the phone to the boat it then had to go turn around and come back so waited about 30 mins in total , I don’t think it’s good value short ride cost £9:50 each

I had no wait to get on to online chat and Patricia transferred the details of my unused tickets to a new date and trip right away.

Unfortunately we selected the wrong tickets from the machine when travelling from Westminster Bridge to Greenwich and was fined accordingly. It was a genuine mistake and we appealed the fine. Patrica at Uber was brilliant at getting the issue resolved to our satisfaction. Throughout the appeal process we were dealt with efficiently and with courtesy at all times. Very good service by this company and particularly by Patricia.

I used yesterday the service from Westminster to Canary wharf. Worst service ever. One of the ladies terrifibly rude. I will never use again.

Made our day. Don't trust negative reviews here. Reasonable prices especially for family. We had a return, honestly the best money we spend on us on a holiday. Free toilets on board. May get busy at some stops running all day. On the way back to Putney we had to wait about 30 minutes in Embankment, but still it is worth it.

We were on the Clippers 6 weeks ago. Did the whole day multistop thing and went all the way. The Mate Prince Seneviratne was very helpful on our trip from Barking to Putney. We started off with a visit to the Thames Barrier and started back up river. He explained about the 21 Bridges we pass under.
You can see nearly all the major attractions from the river! Stopped off at Borough Market for lunch but it was a bit too busy for me. Preferred the boat!

Complaint Regarding Rude Staff and Denied Service on Return Journey (Saturday 2nd August 2025, 22:05)
Dear Uber Boat Management,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a very disappointing experience my family and I had while using your service on Saturday.

We were a group of five—myself, my wife, and our three children—returning on your service at approximately 22:05 at London Eye boarding station. At check-in, your staff member was extremely rude and unprofessional. Despite having a screenshot of our valid ticket, he refused to accept it and demanded to see the email confirmation instead. As I attempted to retrieve the email on my phone, he did not wait and left us behind, denying us the service we had already paid for.

This action was inconsiderate and unacceptable, especially given that we were traveling with children. As a result, we had to wait another hour for the next available service, which only went as far as North Greenwich. From there, we had to take a bus and finally reached home at 01:00—an ordeal that was both exhausting and entirely avoidable.

This experience was not only stressful and inconvenient, but it also reflects poorly on your company’s customer service standards. Based on this, I am unlikely to use your service again and will not recommend it to others.

I request a formal response to this complaint, as well as a refund or compensation for the inconvenience and service denial.

Arrived on time, not crowded on a grey day. One of the few civilised ways of moving around London. Crew were helpful and efficient.

Scenic ride, but during peak hours on a weekday we had to wait 30+ minutes for a ride. Recommend to ride early during the day as it got very crowded in the afternoon.
Reasonable rate for 1 day hop on/off for a family with children.

Not accommodating staff, waiting forever for boats, and had to wait 50 minutes total to ride.
Will not use again.

Timetable is completely misleading. We checked the times and made sure we were at the pier early. Only those going to further destinations weee accepted aboard. The next boat was scheduled for 20+ minutes later. This made us late for our next attraction. Expensive. Unreliable. False. Terrible.
