Took my wife for her 40th birthday just before the lockdown. Views were amazing. Food and the wine were excellent, just a little time tied.

had a great experience, beautiful memories for my anniversary

Did not have a great experience at all. Went to the bar for a drink with a view. We sat and waited to receive our bar menu for at least 10 minutes. We then got asked what we wanted straight away (we didn’t even get a chance to open the menu). The waitress was SO rude. Not friendly, not accommodating at all. The waitress went away and didn’t return to take out order for another 10 minutes. We asked for hot drink was told they are not sold after 12. We asked for chips and salami selection and got told “no, only olives”. We drank our drinks and waited for the waitress to come back so we could ask for the bill. I ended up walking to find after getting fed up of waiting. We went to the bar to pay and got asked if our experience was ok. We told them no and the response was “oh”.

I went to Oblix restrnt at the Shard yestrday...group of 5....the food was nice but not (to share) as been advertised..... on line manue was different from what you got. As been overprised i thought its all about the view, when i approached the view..the gard surprised me to say that i am not allowed as (your book is for one level only!)..shocked and walk away..,..

Absolutely amazing. If you haven't been then please go. You will have a fantastic time. Great atmosphere and lovely staff.

If you don't like stairs, be warned! They tried to make us climb the last 4 flights to the viewing floor. But you have to insist to be allowed to use the lift (I was walking with my walking stick so there should have been some understanding)
When you go in on the ground floor they take photos of everyone without explaining what its for. On leaving they show you a book with your photos superimposed with the Shard in the background. Then they tell you its £25. This is totally lacking integrity. What a cheek to take your photo and then try to sell it in that presumptive way. Not good business practice.
The viewing floor was crowded and no seating available. I bought a disabled ticket for the same price as everyone else but absolutely NO THOUGHT OR CONSIDERATION was given. In reception there is no seat to wait for your ticket. What is the point of selling these tickets?
Contrary to the website, there was no exhibition about the building of the Shard. The whole experience is ridiculously over-priced

I really hate writing bad reviews but I need to do this.I took my wife at the Oblix restaurant as a celebration for our anniversary.First of all it's not FINE DINNING,they're only trying to imitate that :)).Service was ok,food was great,view,as we had a table window,amazing.But when food came a dish,pork loin had a hair on top. Dish was replaced,but I had to wait 20 minutes,by that time we already ate the other dishes.The dish was not removed from the bill and we didn't get any sincere apologies from a manager. It's really disappointing,obviously I would never came back.

Excellent although I'm not a fan of heights but the staff on the top floor where great friendly and made the trip worth while

Took my wife here The Aqua Shard Restaurant for part of her 50th birthday celebrations and can honestly say that it is the worst meal that I have ever been served
She had baby chicken that was burnt on the outside and not cooked on the inside
My so called steak looked raw and looked like a chop something you would get in a Tesco 4 pack
We think the potatoes were Aunt Bessies and the Yorkshire pudding were frozen ones heated up
It was that bad we never stayed around for dessert just in case things got worse

Great anniversary gift from my parents through Virgin Experience. The view was amazing!! We spent a good 1.5 hours up on level 69-72. There were lots of people there but still had plenty of opportunities to get a good view, of even the sunset. We booked the 7:30 in September so could see in daylight and night. There were bar and food available too. Will definitely go back another time! :)

I visited The Shard with my family about 3 years ago and it was a great experience. We went up to the highest floors you can go up to (the 71st and 72nd I believe) and were astounded by the incredible views. There are telescopes so you can look for landmarks in London and there is also a list of them for you to try and spot (an entertaining game for the kids). Prices are relatively high but is is what you’d expect as it is a major landmark. There is a small shop on one of the floors with souvenirs and gifts (also quite expensive). Overall, The Shard is a good experience for the family if they’re not scared of heights and you’re willing to hand over a large amount of cash.

Una delusione per me: sono andata al The Shard per un the delle cinque all’inglese, con torta o dolce. Il posto è stupendo, ma, dopo aver atteso un bel po, una cameriera frettolosa mi ha detto che non avevano nè torte nè biscotti da dare con il the. Ho ripiegato allora su un aperitivo, ovvero un bicchiere con un pezzettino di mango sopra, accompagnato da un triste bowl, minuscolo, di noccioline, il tutto per i prezzi dello Shard che è un luogo di lusso. Sicuramente non tornerò.
