Their cheapest quote over a £1000 more than many others that I received.

Very poor customer service, don’t buy any products here

If I could leave zero stars I would do, I am just glad they couldn’t beat my best quote as they advertised, because if their insurance is as good as there customer service, I would hate to have to rely on them.
They couldn’t beat my best quote as they advertise, and so I qualified for the £25, again as they advertise.
I submitted a claim, which was received by them and verified as valid, and that is where we are.
When you call them you get an automated message and leave a number for them to call you back on, WHICH THEY DON’T, and if you email them you just get ignored.
Excellent service, NOT!! I will never have anything to do with them again and advise anyone else not to either.
They are a total waste of time.

Contacted them on Friday morning to let them know that I had changed my registration. Charged me £40 for the pleasure. Said that I would recieve a confirmation email of the change of details. I didn't. Its now Saturday morning and my new reg still doesn't show on askmid as insured but my old reg does.....
Can I get hold of anyone? NO!! They're closed on a weekend.... quick to take my £40 though.
Thanks a lot, weekend ruined thanks to you...... Insurance is due next month I'm 100% moving to Hastings where my cars are insured.

If you want to be relentlessly battered by spam, that's your site. For genuine quotes, stay clear.

Since getting a quote from The Bike Insurer I have experienced relentless 3rd party malicious spam to my mailbox. This is not a coincidence and not happy.

Misleading advertising and incorrect communication make of this one of the worst companies to deal with.
I spent over an hour dealing with their execs in trying to get my bike insured for a high uncompetitive price while other sites would offer cheaper price like for like, with the same insurance company they sponsor.
In the end, a customer rep just had to admit that their advertising is false and misleading since the banner with their number claims to call the “PRICING GUARANTEE HOT LINE” and guaranteeing to beat any lower offer is a SCAM.

I tried this site for an alternative to look for quotes. Now I'm getting bombarded with regular emails. No problem I thought, I'll just unsubscribe.

Went to their site, had to put in both my email and my phone number! If I don't put in my phone number it won't let me unsubscribe as the form just asks for my phone number. I don't want to give that out!

I ended up putting in a fake number just to unsubscribe. Then I had to tick every single box I DON'T want to unsubscribe from - there is no "unsubscribe all" box.

I hate sites like this. A decent site will just opt you out once you click on unsubscribe in the email. The dodgy sites make you go through hoops when you want out.

Don't use. Sell your number to spammers

I was on the phone to the bike insurer answering all of the standard questions, then I was told to hold the line so that they could find me the best quotation. I was then on hold for 10 minutes, when someone then answered the phone asking "what insurance would you like" and that they DO NOT EVEN OFFER BIKE INSURANCE. WHAT. To avoid wasting your time, stay away from these muppets.

I done a quote from them n it says on their website they will beat any online quote n they’re definitely lying as they couldn’t beat my online quote from mce, after I gave them the evidence requested they came out with another lie, I.e it has to b another quote from another comparison site n not direct to the company lol n no where fired they state this in their website. Bunch of frauds, avoid at all cost

Despite all of the negative comments on here I actually had quite a good experience over the phone with these guys setting up a policy for myself. It is a bit of an unusual insurance to pull out but Shawn who I was talking to got me all the answers I needed and a fantastically priced policy. Let’s hope I don’t start getting spam as a result of this making me change my rating

Started getting lots of spam and scam emails after getting a quote from them.

Yesterday I spoke to one of their representatives over the phone. The line wasn't very clear so I wasn't sure whether the answers to his questions were accurate. I kept asking him to go over the questions and he sounded to me as he was getting angry. He went away to his computer and came back and told me that I had answered one of the questions incorrectly something I wasn't aware of as the line wasn't clear. He went away to his computer and came back and said it's pointless going with them as the quote I had elsewhere was half the price compared to theirs. The guy over the phone sounded angry, he waisted my time on the phone and it would've been faster going to a comparison site, as I did afterward. Something suspicious about their reviews on it's site as most of them are 5 stars. At the first instance he didn't sound pleasant as a salesman is supposed to, he must of had a bad day, as it sounded like. No excuse the customer always comes first despite their hardship.

Very poor the way they treat their customers, i took out a policy online tried to call them to clarify details only to have my policy cancelled and over a 1/3 of the cash retained, don't use the website and stay clear of these guys

Just as another here I am now getting these nuisance calls right after getting some quotes with 'The Bike Insurer'. Really not happy with them. I always make sure I tick the relevant boxes to prevent any calls or emails and yet they still seem to have sold my number to spammers.
I must remember never to use a genuine number when dealing with comparison sites in the future.

Do not obtain a quote through these guys, they will SMS and email spam you and not let you unsubscribe
