Dr Costa, listened and understood our concerns regarding out daughter and didn't use a dismissive tone when we outlined what we were seeing and how it was affecting our daughter.

The biggest thing here was clear listening and empathy.

Dr Costa took time to understand my symptoms and then explained what was happening and why. He helped me manage my symptoms and help with a plan to improve things.

Dr Costa is very friendly and explained everything so well. He made my son feel at ease and discussed not just about the current medical condition but also my son's childhood or any issues during child birth. My son's condition is improving gradually, I feel relieved having spoken to Dr Costa.

I had an excellent experience at the allergy clinic with Dr Costa. He is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly takes great pride in his work. He was humble, attentive, and really took the time to listen to all of my concerns.

After our appointment, he provided a thorough and detailed report. What really stood out was how proactive he was, after I explained my symptoms and past reactions, he immediately asked if I had been prescribed an epipen. When I told him I hadn’t, he prescribed one straight away and explained that my GP should have done this earlier. I raised a complaint with my GP following his advice, and they admitted their mistake and apologised.

I highly recommend Dr Costa to anyone seeking allergy care. He is a true professional who genuinely cares about his patients’ wellbeing.

Dr Costa not only listened, assessed, he acted immediately. Our child has not had the support they should have due to loosing the ability to use spoken words. already the test that should have had done at age 4, 9 years ago, has occurred. He has considered our son disabilities and adapted appropriately in term of testing and assessing and recommendations on that. He has written to the GP advising of next steps and this has resulted in referrals' to a hospital that has an MDT approach in regards to complex needs case's. This also should have happened at age 4. we already are receiving appointments. we have hope, where the experience to date , and the impact on life chances and life outcomes has been so poor for our son, meant we had very little hope left. Our son is a very good judge of character, finds it had to look in the eyes of people, especially those he does not know. He went up to Dr costa and took his hands and looked into his eyes. Our son may have severe expressive language support needs however his receptive language and hearing are exceptional. He understands that Dr Costa is helping him. Our son has asked me using visuals and gestures and other communication over many years, and he and we have been let down again and again. He asked me again with his AAC app, prologue go 2, "you like help, please call someone". so I researched and searched again, and we found Dr Costa. If you are struggling to get your child's need met in relation to allergies, diagnosed or symptomatic without diagnoses, without hesitation we would recommend Dr Costa.

We had a very positive experience with Dr. Costa. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and thorough during our child's appointment. He took the time to listen to our concerns, explained everything clearly, and made us feel genuinely supported throughout the process. His kind and professional manner helped put both us and our child at ease. We’re very grateful for his care and would highly recommend him to any parent seeking a thoughtful and knowledgeable paediatrician.

The session was informative as far as a first session go. I am looking forward to find out more allergies so i can help my child moving forward to live a full life free of constant allergy symptons

Knowledgeable and friendly allergy specialist, demonstrating an in depth understanding of all areas. Patient with my child. Respectful (from time to time I encounter specialists that are so used to their topic they forget not everyone has a proper grasp of the subject, but he understood that I’m not going to know everything and he helped fill in my knowledge gaps). Great!

Dr Costa was thorough, kind, and patient. Answered every question we had in detail, and gave our 7 month old a prompt diagnosis and plan for what we should do. Put the baby at ease too, which is not easy at this age! We couldn’t have been happier with our appointment.

It was so refreshing to meet a Doctor that finally gave us some answers and that helped make a plan for us moving forward after having some bad experiences previously. Dr Costa answered all of our many questions in detail, and gave us a lot of his time to make sure we understood everything properly. He was amazing with my daughter, calm, professional and informative - would definitely highly recommend him.

We took our 9 week old to see Dr Costa and we couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. He took his time, never rushing us through the consultation. He listened to every concern we had and addressed each one with thorough responses, offering advice on how to best manage our situation moving forward. His approach was not only professional but also friendly, making us feel comfortable and heard. It’s rare to find a doctor who balances being both approachable and incredibly knowledgeable. Dr Costa was great. He listened to our daughter and us as we explained her lengthy medical history and what we hoped to achieve from the consultation. He then laid out a plan of action (diagnostic tests), which will then be used for deciding the next steps.

I went o see Dr Costa re a potential dairy allergy. He was very relaxed in his manner and put me and real ease. He was not rushing me when I was asking questions. He explained everything to me at my level, I am a nurse so he uses scientific language which I understood but used more down to earth language for my mum. He is the best consultant I have ever seen and would recommend him to anyone needing to be seen re allergies and investigations. Thank you so much.😊

Dr Costa explained everything to me very clearly. I feel more reassured that I don’t have an allergy as I didn’t have an immediate response and it is a non Ige response that I’m getting. I will definitely get some further advice from a dietitian as Dr Costa suggested to see if I can get to the bottom of what is causing my skin rashes and acid reflux.

Throughout our follow up appointments Dr Costa continues to be very supportive and provides clear guidance on our next steps to take.

I have recently visited Dr Costa who was simply amazing!

Great experience and knowledge transfer on allergies. Allergy test was quick, pain free and immediate results. I would suggest a better layout of next steps after the test results and options for treatment.
