Friendly, welcoming and reassuring

Dr Costa was amazing, we have seen a few allergy consultants but he is by far the best. This was our second appointment with him and we was amazed again .He makes you feel comfortable while in clinic and goes above and beyond to get you a plan in place . He listens to all your concerns and acknowledges them too. He is very experienced so has a lot of expertise to help you through the difficulties that come with allergies.

Dr Costa was such a lovely consultant. He was very knowledgeable and made myself and my son feel at ease when discussing his potential allergy. We traveled an hour and half to see him after doing some research and reading excellent reviews from previous patients. I definitely feel it was worth the extra travel and I left feeling confident we had been provided with the right information and advice following the consultation and allergy testing appointment.

Dr costa was really helpful, informative and put my mind at rest. We came out of the appointment feeling much better and all of our questions answered. I’m so glad we decided to do the allergy testing, made us feel like we wasn’t making it all up.

I arrived early and seen immediately. Dr Costa listened carefully and asked questions that really made me feel he understood and could help.
I now have a prescription to help alleviate my problems and able to travel again confidently.

When you are taking your 7 month old baby to an allergy testing appointment following a previous allergic reaction that resulted in a A&E admission, it is obviously very nerve wracking, and that was despite knowing what to expect from the detailed appointment letter we received beforehand. Dr Costa made us feel at ease as soon as we entered the appointment. He listened to our concerns, the history surrounding our son and his reactions and eczema. He explained the likely causes of the various reactions, did a skin pric.k test for the allergens we had concerns about and explained the results of these. Following our appointment we have a plan of action of how to manage our son’s allergy moving forward and also advice on how to introduce the remaining allergens in to his diet, which we are now doing with confidence (which we didn’t have prior to our appointment).
We will be returning to Dr Costa in 4 months time for further testing and to review the treatment plan for our son. The information has been passed to our GP quickly and our GP is also supporting the pathway by referring us to an NHS dietitian for support. There is also an option to speak to a dietitian via the clinic if we need it in future.

I had a good experience and my questions were all answered. I would recommend Dr. Costa.

Dr Costa is a super consultant.

He is enormously knowledgable, and, more importantly, he listens and discusses.
