Brought a new mattress for motorhome.only lasted 2 years before it lost all shape.when I complained to customer service got zero response.avoid this company

Just recieved my order of a poptop matress...4.5cm, rg50 foam with washable cover. Yet to sleep on it but first impressions are Excellent. Its firm enough to not bottom out.
The team at foam4u were very helpful to push through my order slightly quicker than usual.

The company has a really informative website and I was able to find exactly what i wanted, but i did need it quicker than their advertised leadtime and i needed a bespoke cut. I rang them last saturday and Mark confirmed they could do what i needed and deliver to meet my timeline. I emailed in drawings of what i wanted and and it arrived 3 days later. I was told by email when it was ready to despatch and the delivery date.

We were looking to get a bespoke foam mattress for our camper and there were a few companies to choose from but The Foam Shop seemed to have more in depth on-line information.

We were lucky enough for our call to be answered by Cy who is their sales manager, who was extremely knowledgeable, patient and professional from start to finish.

Our deadline was very tight and Cy and his team managed to turn around our order in 2 x weeks.

We now have a bespoke memory foam mattress and can't wait to use it!

I would certainly not hesitate in recommending this company.

What an excellent experience! I ordered two bespoke sized mattresses for our campervan and received some excellent advice from Cy. He talked me through all the options and , was well informed and extremely helpful. I received several update emails to say my order was on track. After a couple of weeks I rang to ask for an estimated delivery date which unfortunately was 2 days after we were hoping to go away in the van! I explained this on the phone and the helpful person I spoke to said not to worry and he would see what he could do. And he did! Both mattresses arrived well before our departure and I am extremely happy with the quality of the mattress (memory foam) and the removable covers. Thank you foam shop! All of you have been a pleasure to do business with.

A foam mattress: what could be simpler? A cuboid of length 190, breadth160 and depth 12 cm. No problemo you would think! And the site is inciting “NEED FOAM CUT TO SIZE” it croons. To me (and probably most other fair-minded people)“Cut to size” suggests you start with one larger piece and trim it down to the customers specifications. Not so at at the Foamshop! What I got for my £200 plus was two off-cuts glued together off-centre lengthwise. Meaning that one of us is always gonna feel the joint. Perhaps that catch line should read: “NEED FOAM “cobbled-together-out-of-any-left-over-offcuts-we-happen-to-have-lying-around-the-workshop”. The only thing they could offer was to return it and have it recut and redelivered at my expense. So another £65-70 to get the product I thought I had ordered and paid for in the first instance.

Martin in customer service was brilliant and Mark Harris the owner very helpful... my recommendation would be if you have an even slightly odd shaped cushion to discuss your needs with the company rather than just use the online order form. They will do their best to meet your needs. My sofa and I are very pleased with the new foam cushions.

With a deadline approaching for me Thefoamshop could not have been more helpful in getting my order to me in time. The delivery team got the order to me within 24hrs which just completed things brilliantly. In practice the topper proved every bit as good as claimed. A real win-win-win transaction.

Superb service from the staff of this shop. I phoned them last month as the two large cushions on my sofa were sagging badly. I gave the staff the measurements involved and the quote sounded very reasonable but explained that I have no transport. They immediately offered to pick up the cushions at no extra charge and did so within a short time. I then received another phone call confirming the original estimate which I agreed on and the cushions were delivered back to my door that same evening, again at no charge. Result is impressive as my cushions now bounce back!. Lovely staff particularly the young man that I originally spoke with. Happy to fully recommend this company.

Fantastic service, really helpful. Had our 4 big sofa seat cushions back on the sofa within a couple of hours! So pleased with the result. 100% recommend.

Superb customer service, I needed my foam mattress topper quicker than the 10 days they state and after a phone call to customer service they duly obliged. Excellent product and superb customer service I can't say any better than that.

I ordered 2 foam wedges to go under mattresses. Sales person was super helpful and showed me the types of foam and advised. They took quite a long time to be ready and one of the mattress wedges was made to wrong shape but they quickly rectified it with no hassle or arguments. Martin was super helpful. Both are great quality and miles cheaper than I found elsewhere plus very reasonable delivery cost at £25. I'm super fussy but will def use again and recommend.

Despite sending an initial email confirming my order i had no progress email updates for over a month! When asked later they said they had sent updates to the wrong email address!? They then promised to forward the updates immediately and didn't! I contacted them on 4 occasions and on each occasion their customer service manner was very poor, on one occasion i had to wait on hold whilst the agent finished eating his biscuit!! The service level agreement was for 21 working days and the goods were delivered after that date to the wrong address, billing address not the shipping address. When questioned why the agent just said "Well you have got it now". It is a shame because the goods seem good quality, they really need to up their game in terms of admin and customer service. I won't be using this company again.

The replacement scatter back cusions I ordered took over 3 weeks to arrive. However they are amazing quality and worth the wait. Have completely renewed our large corner sofa. We rang to find out if order had been processed a week ago and were told yes and would be here within the week, they arrived today. When order was placed i received only a payment confirmation and nothing about what I had ordered or delivery so I was apprehensive that I'd receive them at all and shocked when a large box was delivered thismorning. So great quality products however service could improve massively with better communication.

Edit as no reply to supplier option.. we checked that email was fine last week when in touch and it was. Yet still ko further update by email on processing or deliver yet I did receive one when order originally placed through trust payment. Definitely no fault of the buyer. Yet I've seen through multiple reviews that supplier believes this is the case. I've had my email address for decades I know it and I've not mistaken it.

It’s the strangest order process I’ve experience to date. There is no order confirmation sent. Very little communication regarding your order, it’s status. It’s extremely sad to see how this company speaks to its customers. The website tone is sharp, rude and defensive.

Overall the website needs a clean up and rewording to build trust in the company and the service.

I’ve reached out for an update on my order as it’s been over 10 working days since my order status changed to processing. I can only imagine the rude message I’ll receive for enquiring about my £145 order for one rectangular cushion.

The item took three weeks to arrive from order being placed, and when it did arrive the foam was pierced as if cut by a sharp object.

No ability to contact the supplier as all correspondence was via a noreply email address

We ordered new seat inserts for our settee.
These arrived very quickly and are of very good quality and fit like a glove
Will be ordering some back cushion inserts very soon
Would highly recommend

ordered a straightforward piece of foam which took 11 working days to arrive without any communication during that nearly 3 week wait. It is not cut straight so we are now having to do with a squonk piece of upholstery which i am rather disappointed about.
