I'm writing to share my experience with The Mortgage Brain, who made the impossible feel possible when I needed a mortgage under challenging circumstances.
Ross was outstanding from day one. He streamlined everything by handling the information gathering and agreement process efficiently online. What really stood out was how determined he was to find the perfect lender for my specific needs.
My situation wasn't easy – I'm on a Skilled Worker visa, needed to borrow around 5.5 times my salary, and only had a 10% deposit (when visa holders typically need 15%). Despite these obstacles, Ross systematically reviewed every available option and worked relentlessly until he secured a Decision in Principle.

Recently worked with Anthony to secure a mortgage on a new property. Anthony worked tirelessly to get us the best deal as my credit report was not the best and managed to get us a great deal with a high street lender. I can not recommend Louise at the mortgage brain enough! She is so friendly yet so professional and great at what she does! We didn’t have the best time with our solicitors and she did everything she could to help which was above and beyond! We can not thank her enough.

Louise has been brilliant from start to finish. At the beginning of our journey the lender was being rather awkward, and she handled it calmly and confidently. When our sale fell through and it took a few months to find another buyer, she was able to renegotiate the mortgage at a significantly lower rate once interest rates dropped, which made a huge difference for us. Throughout the whole process she’s been incredibly helpful, friendly, and responsive, and her communication has been clear and reassuring. We felt genuinely supported the entire time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Just recently completed on the purchase of our new property with the help of Louise. From the first conversation we had over the phone she worked out exactly what was the best way forward in the house move and made everything seem more possible. She was easily contactable and explains things very well when trying to navigate our way round the housing market. She took time in working out what was the best amount of money to put down as a deposit so to make the better interest rates available to us. Buying and selling a house is stressful but with Louise on your side you can actually get over the line and complete the move.
