AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
They don’t even deserve the one star.
If ur a buyer avoid this agency at all costs I recently brought my first home from them and it was the worst experience ever. Firstly they charged me £4000 for the protection of our purchase and to protect the property when I went to view the house again in had gotten worse. I spoke to AJ who was the estate agent and he said he can’t do anything about it. I wasn’t getting any communication from the estate agent when I tried to escalate the matter they wouldn’t allow it to go forward. I was getting rude responses back and their customer service is the worst. If you are lady looking to purchase a home I would advise you stay away from them. They don’t know how to respect women. I spent over a grant removing rubbish that belonged to the previous owner I was told by AJ that the seller would have this cleared out but in the end they just ignored me even when I tried to view it before making the transaction I wasn’t allowed to view it. It’s been 3 months since I’ve purchased the home they still haven’t removed there board or changed it to it saying sold it still says it’s under offer.
If the manager is reading this please give ur employers the correct training on how to treat there customers.

An excellent company to work with they helped me and my partner sell our property with ease. They gave some great advice and really made things much easier for us. Would definitely recommend if buying or selling a property and I will definitely be using there services in the future! To reserve a house they charge you the fee and they trap you to those houses that basically they not selling it in actual this company is fake they eat peoples hard working money the lady Zara is evil she trap people into some kind of legal documents then after your money goes you can’t even take action about them someone need to take action about these fraud people. Even their make you to sign some contract this company are scammers.their need to be reported to the police

0 stars be careful with this firm. The upfront fee they push for is quite high when added to the actual property purchase they make it hard don’t allow viewings on an investment property. What happens if you need a mortgage survey they say pay the fee and we can arrange that yet you can’t see what you’re buying before hand. Basically you may as well go to an auction it’s better. They only push for the fee which you could quite easily loose.

They advertise property and get your signed up, then the tell you that the property is no longer available and the offer alternative whilst keeping your Fee.

I put an offer in on a property advertised by the OPA which was accepted. I then had to pay an upfront fee to secure the property.

After the fee was paid, the property layout was changed and was no longer what was originally advertised. I reached out to the OPA stating what the property was no longer what I paid for, having been ignored I eventually had to take legal action against the OPA to get my money back.

This process took MONTHS and cost me THOUSANDS in the initial solicitors fee's when initiating the purchase and the legal costs of reclaiming the fee paid to the OPA.

Having read other reviews it seems there is a theme and I've noticed responses from the OPA claiming these are fake reviews with false statements. Based on my personal experience I am highly confident they are not, as I made multiple attempts to handle the issue directly with the OPA where I was ignored, I assume in the hopes I would just go away.

I would encourage anyone and everyone to stay away from engaging with the OPA and if anyone else has been scammed by the OPA I encourage you to seek legal advice to get your money back.

Zara was really helpful throughout the whole process, I brought 2 properties and couldn't have asked for a smoother journey.

Everyone's on the lookout for the best deals these days, right? Well, let me tell you, if something seems too good to be true, it definitely is and this company is a perfect example of that. I have no idea how they're even allowed to operate. Everything looks perfect, until you find out they don't do any due diligence before a property purchase. That means there's no guarantee that what you're buying is actually a sound property. To me, that represents a HUGE RISK for any buyer (in particular ones that don't have a lot of experience) as you stand to lose thousands.

Save your money and go to a reputable company, otherwise you'll just end up stressed and out of pocket by using these cowboys.
Listen to the genuine reviews, not the "textbook" ones - isn't it strange that they mainly reply to the negative reviews and very short and dry "thank you" to some of the positive ones?

If my review can help even one person avoid getting "tricked", then I've done my bit.

AVOID this company at all costs. All seems great with them until they tell you they want a NONE REFUNDABLE fee prior to even having a valuation. They basically offer deals that really do look superb to hook you in & then take their fee before you find out if the property has any defects or not - Basically they are scamming you just for their fee!
Take the time to look at earlier reviews & you will see lots of others like this one. You will then see lots of other 5 Star reviews that push the multiple one star reviews down the list. Please take note of the dates of all these 'great' 5 star reviews ie 6 on the 19th Aug, 5 on the 20th Aug etc. Isn't it strange how all these 5 Star reviews all came in on the same days? I'm going to correct myself here, its not strange, its dodgy!

I had a wonderful experience selling my property with The OPA. From the initial valuation to the videography and photography, as well as the advertising and final sale of my property, everything was done perfectly. You can feel confident and relaxed throughout the process because they handle everything for you.

I lost over £7000 by trying to a purchase a property, which wasn't fully mortgageable due to dry rot and Zara's attitude once this became apparent was despicable and rude. Please stay away from this strange set-up, some of the properties they have for sale are owned by the estate agent or associates, which they inflate with enticing yields or simple overpricing. Please do read the description of their adverts thoroughly as they state some of their properties for sale are owned by associates. P.S. Please stay away if it's too good to be true, then it is. This isnt a fake review, as per the response, please just stay away from this set-up. As parting advice, I would state always look at comparables in the area and understand that if anyone is pressuring you like Zara did to me, then please do back away. This agents approach might be legal, but no way is it moral or ethical.
