Securing our equity release took over 6 months mainly due to the solicitors lack of timely communications and continually requesting documentation at random points throughout the process. This could have been a much smoother process if a list of requirements had been provided at the outset for us to compile. Overall a long drawn out and stressful process for all parties involved. Very personal and prompt service. With the lockdown in place, they managed to complete the whole process in a safe manor and gave excellent advice. Communication was always friendly and prompt. This is the second time I have used them, which speaks for itself.

I needed to change my equity release provider as the interest was far too high with the original company. My son found a broker, Kevin Woods, who was very helpful and supportive, going the extra mile. He proposed a company with less than half the interest I had been paying and providing me with a little extra as a cushion. Changing over was a little complicated due to my husband's will but with the hard work of the solicitor that Kevin recommended the changeover was brought to a successful conclusion. I can now stay in my home of 42 years for as long as I wish.

We are in our seventies and my brain is definitely not what it used to be. We asked three different companies to discuss Equity Release.
One tried to do it by phone. Two visited us.
We found James Sudworth of The Right Equity Release Ltd to be the preferred. He was very patient and went at a pace that we could understand and assimilate. He fully discussed with us our ideas and put forward a number of choices in a way that we could comprehend.
We received two quotes from the two companies and accepted the one from The Right Equity Release. And then James came back with an improved offer from Aviva.
He made the whole process not onlypainless but actually quite enjoyable.
We got our money and could not be happier.
I have told all my sceptic friends that they should forget their forebodings and start to lead a much more relaxed life...with their own money.

My advisor was excellent and although it took longer to process than I expected, three months,
we got there in the end. Hold ups due to solicitors and poor communication.

It was a bit of a nightmare.
Delays by both the lenders solicitors and the ones appointed by you to act on behalf.
I was constantly chasing up for completion.
It actually cost me more money because the original offer ran out and the new offer was at a higher rate.

The whole experience was stress free and simple. Our advisor James was a complete gentleman and a pleasure to deal with.
